MysticMag’s Marko Velimirovic had the pleasure of meeting Vaishali Nikhade– a prominent psychic clairvoyant reader. He got the chance to ask her some interesting questions and find out about her approach to different psychic readings.
What inspired you to start your psychic reading business?
Vaishali Nikhade: I did not start a psychic reading business with an intention to do it. I was more experimenting with psychic readings, and then what happened, one thing led to another and I started reading clients. When I first started I actually transitioned from engineering to metaphysics, and I would test out the readings to see how they would work and if they would actually play out. And once I started seeing the results, I started testing them for longer and longer time frames. So initially I started testing for like an hour, then it went on to a day, and then it went on to a week and so on… And once I saw it started working for myself, I started reading other clients, and then the other clients came and they said that the results played out, so that’s really how the reading business started.
What is the most popular type of reading that customers are looking for? What are the most common concerns that interest them?
VN: This is a great question. When I first started out in the initial few years, the most popular reading the people were looking for was related to finding their significant other, or their future girlfriend or boyfriend. What I did is, I came up with a reading, called the future boyfriend reading, or future girlfriend reading, where I would give them the description of their future girlfriend, how they would meet them, what kind of profession they will have, and the approximate timing. So this is one of my most popular readings, I am now looking into those readings still, however, I transitioned more towards reading businesses and entrepreneurs and business owners, so there is a little bit of a different concern for the entrepreneurs, compared to people who are just looking for a romantic reading.
Are some types of psychic readings more demanding or difficult than others?
VN: Every reading is different – it’s not about being more demanding or more difficult, it just depends on what kind of question has been asked and how much reference is available. It sometimes takes a lot of bingeing into different details to be able to get the answer. It also depends on what the complexity of the situation is, so there are a lot of different factors involved.
Some of the psychic sessions are still performed in person. What about you? How has your work been affected by the pandemic?
VN: As far as I’m concerned, when I first started out, the amount of in-person sessions I started with was zero. Only over the last two, three years (this is before the pandemic hit), I would have some people call in for an in-person reading, and even then my in-person readings were less than, I would say less than five percent of my overall readings. Because some of the in-person clients would then eventually switch to becoming phone clients. So as far as the pandemic is concerned, I still do have people who ask for in-person readings, I do not entertain them. Some of them I asked to switch to zoom, and they do switch to zoom, and I do zoom reading for them. And some of them are only looking for in-person readings, so in that particular case I just tell them that I do not have the professional cleaning equipment needed to protect myself from this pandemic at my home, and I will not be doing them the favor of reading them in person.
What advice would you give to a fledgling psychic reader? Is it better for them to work independently or as a part of a team?
VN: For this particular question I want to say that there are pros and cons of each side and that the ideal thing would be to do both. So you can have part of your business where you are getting clients independently, and you can have a part of your business where clients are coming to where you are. For example, you are a part of a web site which has a lot of different psychics, so that you get found easily as well. It also depends on the person, but I would say you should start with both, and then see which one is working better, and you can see what it is that you actually want to do.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with customers?
VN: The most important thing is to tell them whatever the reading says, and do not deviate from the reading. So no matter what they want to hear, just tell them whatever the reading is saying, and this way you as a psychic will not be off, and even though the client may be disappointed at what you are telling them after it actually plays out, they will come back and thank you.
