How do you guide clients in truly letting go, and what transformations have you witnessed?

I start with a Detailed Personal History, and this step is important. I talk with the client for a few hours to guide them in understanding how their problem works. We all have a strategy of “how” we brush our teeth. I help the client see “how” they created their problem in the first place and get a good idea of the greater problem that’s deeper than the presenting problems in their life. By seeing the pattern through the Detailed Personal History, their nervous system begins to make connections, and the body lights up all the neurology associated with the great problem.

After understanding the root cause, we dive deeper into what that problem provides. I call this the secondary gain. Often, this can look like the “I’m not good enough” protects me from being seen in the world; it’s just easier that way. When we break down this secondary gain and ask the unconscious mind to create a new way to protect its wholeness,  the greater problem starts to get looser.

After two to four hours of talking, we go into guided visualizations using Mental and Emotional Release®.  The technique guides the client to get in touch with their timeline at the unconscious level. We all have a timeline in relation to our bodies. You could be from to left or right or back to front. Go ahead and ask your unconscious mind where your timeline is. It’s a powerful process because I guide the client in imagining going back in time above and before their root cause event, looking toward now. When this happens, the unconscious mind flips the script, releases the energy of the event, and a lesson pours through to the mind and changes the whole story.

Going back to earlier, when we light up the entire neurology of the problem and work on releasing the anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt/shame with Mental and Emotional Release®, suddenly the client is feeling free of old burdens, old patterns, old ways of being, and old stories. The entire timeline is rewritten as the mind rewrites the first event. So we aren’t just releasing one event; it’s all the events of anger and all the neurology connected to anger. And with all the neural connections light up, the problem is resolved from a general to very specific across the entire spectrum; in other words, the entire problem is gone.

After we release the major emotions, I help my clients find forgiveness, resolve any internal conflicts with parts integrations, and then install new patterns and beliefs with hypnosis. Often, suppose the client is open to energy. In that case, we will do chakra balancing and past life clearing and go deeper into spiritual healing in our process together. By the end, the client feels like they have gone to the chiropractor for their mind.

The client will need to take all of the lessons they learned in these deep Breakthrough Sessions and integrate them into their daily life. I often follow up with clients for a few weeks, up to six sessions afterward, to help guide them in integration so they can go from abstraction to action.

What I have seen happen in my work with clients is surprising to most people because they don’t understand how powerful the mind is. I have a lot of clients who have been in therapy for ten or more years, have severe PTS (Post-Traumatic Stress), or medical conditions that they have been trying to resolve. When my clients take the lessons into their daily lives and apply my homework, they are the most successful. I have seen clients become free from depression and medications (under psychiatric supervision), PTS disappear, and mystery illnesses resolve. Or have major breakthroughs in business, relationships, or abundance. In short, I have seen miracles in my work, and I know it’s not me; it’s the client’s source and the hard work they put into the process.

Can you explain how Mental and Emotional Release® works and why it effectively shifts deep-seated emotions?

Mental and Emotional Release® works because our perception is a projection. Our brain projects our stories onto our waking life all around us; in a way, we see what we “want” to see. However, we often want to see what the little wounded child inside us wants. What I mean is that ninety-nine percent of illness (mental or physical) is stress-related from a holistic medicine point of view. Now, our environment or the environment we grew up in often plays a big role in the stress we create in our minds.

To understand this deeper, we need to look at Bruce Lipton’s work with epigenetics; if you want to dive deeper, I suggest the book Biology of Belief. Bruce will explain that the environment regulates our genes, and this was a massive breakthrough in biology that got him outcast and eventually vindicated. Yet, what’s even more important about his work is that it’s not just your environment; your perception of your environment regulates your genes. So when we do this deep change work with Mental and Emotional Release® in the unconscious mind (which is the body—The Body Keeps the Score), we change your perception of the environment of your past when you created your core wound. And the mind is interconnected, just like the neurology in your body. So when we change the perception of your core wound, we change some big stories you have been telling yourself for decades. And with that, the genetic expressions in the cells change, and the entire mindbody changes.

When we work with the unconscious mind, we also work with energy. If the greater problem is gone, the physical pain will soon be gone. And so I use pain in the body as a map into the mind and vice versa. So, I incorporate body testing to ensure the problems are resolved before moving on to the next process in my sessions.

If you want to go deeper into how Mental and Emotional Release® works, I suggest you Read 7 Ways to Medicine by Thomas M. Wurm.

What role do faith and patience play in the healing journey, and how do you help clients cultivate these qualities?

Faith is interesting because faith in what? The most important thing we can do is move our faith from the material/reductionist view of the world and focus our faith on our mindbody and energy. Healing means becoming whole again; part of healing is finding meaning and your purpose for your life. The purpose is spiritual, and once you have a purpose with conviction and faith in your source of energy, you become empowered, and you can change anything in your reality. And sometimes, it takes patience to see our conviction create our desires in a good way.

I always ask my clients whether they want a therapy experience or a ceremony. And if they say ceremony, then I will switch out Mental and Emotional Release® for Higher Self Therapy. Higher Self Therapy is a spiritual process that works just as well as Mental and Emotional Release®. Instead of the mind, we use the spiritual body based on energy. When clients are open and receptive to their highest self, they will have a therapeutic mystical experience. And often, they have a renewed sense of faith that they are safe, loved, and whole.

How do you integrate the values of consciousness, integrity, and humbleness into your practice?

Beautiful question. Values are so important; in fact, values are what define our identity from a psychological point of view. Many of the up-and-coming physicists think consciousness is fundamental to the universe. Consciousness is always working as a sacred mirror. So what my client is working on, I must be too. From that point of view, I always work from a place of integrity because I am working with myself. And with integrity, a value drilled into me from my fourteen-year wildland fire career is excellence. I strive for excellence in everything I do. And I work hard to balance excellence, confidence, and humility. I stay humble because deep down, I know I am doing God’s work; I’m just a conduit or a facilitator. This helps me keep my ego in check and grounded.

What advice do you have for individuals struggling to release fear, sadness, or guilt despite their desire to heal?

The release is easy; all you have to do is want it to happen, and you can make it happen. I often see the “secondary gain” we discussed earlier hold people back. And,  in a way they really don’t want to let go… Find the benefit of the problem in a new and different way, then try to release it. Write it all on paper and burn it while praying for the release.

The hard work is integrating the lessons and moving forward. For beginner advice, I would start with the book or her website, “The Work” by Katie Byron. She lines out a series of questions to help you loosen up your ideas around life. It will help you see just how much of your mind is a program running from your childhood. Start a meditation practice to strengthen your mind. The mind is like a muscle. You have got to work it, lose it, or use it. What I see take people to the next level every time is defining their life by a vision. What do you see for yourself in ten years, and how do you become that person so you can have that experience and do the things you want in life?

And a lot of the mental and emotional problems we have in our society are directly related to toxins in our environment. So a, heavy metal, parasite, and spike protein cleanse will make a difference in your mental health. Hook up with a naturopath, do a functional medicine blood test, and cleanse your body. Followed by the basics: good food, clean water, exercise, sunshine, deep breathing, meditation, prayer, community, and a clear vision. These are all the interfaces to our soft technology, as Gregg Braden would say in his book Pure Human. Most of all, sometimes you need help, ask for help. I never would have made it through my healing journey without help.
