Simonne Lee’s journey into animal communication, shared in her interview with MysticMag, began with a deep, childhood connection to her pets, which evolved into a professional practice.
Her unique method, inspired by her bond with a street cat named Cub, aims to give animals a voice and foster deeper bonds between them and their human companions. By teaching others how to understand and communicate with their pets, Lee emphasizes the importance of energy awareness and self-reflection in this process.
Her mission is to ensure that animals are respected as integral family members, enhancing their well-being and harmony in their homes.
What inspired the creation of the Animal Communication Method and what is its main mission?
I’ve always been drawn to animals throughout my childhood. I am an only child and my mother made sure I had companions in our family and those companions became my siblings.
I was always able to connect and know what and how they were feeling and I would share this with my mum. As an adult in my 20’s I adopted a street cat and called her Cub. She was amazing and an inspiration for starting my Animal Communication. I would share with my friends what their animals told me. My friends started sharing this with their friends and then friends until I moved into the world of Animal Communication professionally.
Then my clients wanted to create a deeper bond with their animals and ask me to teach them how to communicate with their animals, so I created my Animal Communication Method. My mission is to give animals a voice and open the door for deeper bondings between humans and animals so that they are included as family members in their homes.
Teaching Animal Communication is learning about yourself and energy. Anyone can do this and I encourage everyone especially if you have an animal in your life that means the world to you, to learn this method of connecting with your animal babies!
How does the Animal Communication Method help pet owners connect with their animals?
Animal Communication opens the door to understanding things and situations from their animal’s perspective. What a human might think of their animal being difficult might actually be a valid reason for not wanting to do something. In some instances, it’s been to keep humans safe. I’ve had clients come to me and say their animal has become anxious and they don’t know why. Their animal will tell me that their owner is stressed and they’re trying to tell them to relax.
I had one client tell me that yes, they were more stressed as they had a new manager and the workload had doubled and they weren’t coping with this. Their dog knew their human wasn’t happy and was trying to take on the excess stressful energy to help them – the bond between human and animal can be very very deep.
Animals will pick up on our energy way before we even know if we’re stressed or not. They try to bring us back to the present moment through their actions and behaviors. So if you’re animal is acting differently, I always tell my students and clients to check in with themselves and see if they’re stressed!
What unique techniques or approaches set the Animal Communication Method apart from other animal communication practices?
Animal Communication Method teaches you about yourself and your energy. It’s about expanding your awareness of self to be able to connect and communicate with your animals. Most people already have that heart connection with their animals so that’s easy, but when you actually feel that connection, that’s incredible!
My method teaches you to be accountable and aware of the energy that you’re giving off to animals (which includes people too). And expanding your ability to work with your senses.
I’ll never forget when one of my Professional Animal Communicators whom I was training, was in the beginner’s for Friends and Family class connected with my fish and she stepped into his energy and felt what it was like to be fully submerged in water – being wet from a fish’s perspective! It was so wonderful to see her amazement that she was truly connecting with my fish!
Can you share a success story where the Animal Communication Method significantly improved an animal’s well-being?
I’ll give two examples for you:
1. One of my clients had this beautiful tiny little white fluffy dog called Coco. She was so tiny but had a big personality and didn’t like many people. She was fiercely protective over her humans. Her humans asked me why she didn’t like many people and especially why she didn’t like people touching the left side of her head.
Coco let me know that she had a family before this family (she was a rescue) and there were children playing with her a lot and she’s only little and quite delicate. They would play rough with her which is normal for some kids especially if unsupervised. She told me she fell down some stairs once to get away from them and hurt her head. I body scanned that area for her and there was a lot of pressure there and it was soft. I shared that with Coco’s owners and they took her to the vet straight away and had scans and X-rays. They found that Coco’s head on that side had a massive fluid build-up that had placed pressure on her brain and were able to treat it. She still likes people touching that side of her head AND she was very picky with who liked and didn’t like but I think that was also her personality – she was the little boss!
2. I had a couple that had a great Dane and a foxy mix terrier. They were known as Batman and Robin – the dynamic duo! The couple then split up and the great dane Oliver stayed with the dad and the mum and foxy Stanley moved to the US. I stayed in contact with both however, Ollie was having difficulties being separated from Stanely. Ollie’s human (let’s call him dad) would have me come over and help Ollie through the loss of his mum and brother. The dad was very sad during this time too. One time I went over and Ollie was doing better but acting quite strangely so the dad wanted to know what was going on with him. Ollie had a dog walker and went to doggy daycare 2 x weekly but would follow his dad from room to room. I asked Ollie what was going on and he showed me him and his dad in the bedroom and his dad looking in the mirror all the time with different clothes on. I kind of didn’t know how to share with his dad but I did anyway.
His dad went bright red and was quiet for a minute – a very awkward minute I might say!! His dad said that he’d recently started dating had bought a whole new wardrobe and was always trying different outfits on before a date. I wanted to burst out laughing but I held it in and just smiled. I told Ollie what was going on and his body instantly relaxed! He was worried that his dad was stressing and going away (like his mum did) and I said no, he’s making new friends like you do when you go for walks with dad. Ollie told me to tell his dad that it’s ok he’s allowed to have fun like he does and I won’t worry about you when you stand in front of the wardrobe anymore. His dad messaged me 5 days later and said that Ollie is all chilled and relaxed again and said that he was embarrassed but it made a funny story to tell his friends!
I was lucky enough to be one of Ollie’s friends all the way to the end of his life and he had an absolutely amazing and loving life, Mr Ollie!
How do you ensure the authenticity and effectiveness of the animal communication sessions?
When I start a session, I describe the animal’s personality and demeanor so the humans know that I have a connection and connection with the right animal. I will go through all the questions and areas that the humans want to discuss and then at the end, I ask their animal if they have any questions – here where most owners get a little surprised at the questions their animals might ask and they definitely know it’s coming from their animals!
When I do house visits, I let them know I’ll be coming in before I walk up to their home, and the majority of the time they’re just sitting waiting quietly behind the door. Their humans are so surprised at this behavior because they’re always barking when someone walks up the passageway but they’re waiting ever so sweetly for me!
