Embarking on a journey of holistic healing, Saba Hocek sheds light on the intricate synergy between hypnosis, reiki, biofeedback, and intuition within the SEM technique in an interview with MysticMag.
At SEM, the Mind, Body, Spirit approach forms the cornerstone, intertwining intuitive readings, hypnosis, reiki, and biofeedback to comprehensively address mental and emotional challenges. By delving into intuitive readings, such as Coffee Readings and Biological Reiki Readings, SEM uncovers the root causes of blockages, paving the way for a more effective healing process. Reiki, likened to a human form of acupuncture, emerges as a pivotal force in balancing energy and promoting mind-body unity.
The empowering role of biofeedback becomes evident as it equips individuals with tangible insights into their physiological responses, fostering proactive steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Through captivating success stories, we witness the transformative power of combining these modalities, as individuals triumph over challenges like insomnia, anxiety, and low self-confidence.
In weaving together hypnosis, reiki, biofeedback, and intuition, SEM practitioners navigate the intricate layers of the subconscious mind, fostering relaxation, focus, and mental clarity to unlock the path towards holistic well-being.
How do hypnosis, reiki, biofeedback, and intuition work together in the SEM technique to address mental and emotional challenges comprehensively?
We take a Mind, Body, Spirit approach very seriously. Using Intuitive Readings to gain insight, Hypnosis to reprogram the mind, Reiki to balance the energy, Biofeedback to view blockages at the organ level, and even group wellness and fitness classes to promote overall health.
With Intuitive readings which, at SEM, include Coffee Readings, Biological Reiki Readings, and Intuitive Resolutions Readings, we’re able to see what a person’s blockages are and what’s getting in the way of achieving their goal.
Reiki clears and balances the energy in the body. Our bodies get stressed from chemical, environmental, and emotional toxins and as a result, our organs don’t have a balanced energy. Reiki balances that energy. Also keep in mind that, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, every organ is associated with an emotion.
So, if the body’s liver is blocked due to stress, then the person would likely feel heightened anger since the liver is associated with anger.
We have two types of biofeedback devices. Both do a scan of the body and then indicate where the stress blockages are. Based on the results, one of the devices recommends vitamins and minerals and the other device clears the stress blockages.
Hypnosis rewires or resets the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is a huge databank of memories serving to keep us safe. However, it does not always do a great job and can often have inaccurate information based on the perception. A child lost in a supermarket can experience feelings of abandonment and may think they were left there for hours while it was only a few minutes.
We use the information gathered in all the modalities to determine how to work with the client in hypnosis. Lastly, we partner with Active Studios NYC to provide wellness and fitness programs offering classes such as Tai Chi, Women’s Self Defense, Karate, Pilates, Yoga, Reiki Healing Circle, Breathwork & Sound Bath and Ballet.
Explain the role of intuition in SEM and how it enhances the healing process alongside hypnosis, reiki, and biofeedback.
With an intuitive reading, the root cause of the blockage is revealed making it easier and more effective to then work with the client using the other modalities.
This also expedites the healing process getting the client to their goal sooner.
How does reiki contribute to uniting the mind and body, promoting inner balance, and leaving individuals feeling energized and calm within the SEM technique?
I look at Reiki as a human form of Acupuncture. Instead of using needles, we use our hands. There are vessels that run through our bodies (also known as meridians). Every vessel leads to a major organ. Along these vessels are high energy points that can get blocked by environmental, chemical, or emotional toxins preventing the organ from having a balanced energy.
As a practitioner, we channel the universal (reiki) energy by sending this to the client to balance their energy. Imagine balancing the body’s energy but not clearing limiting beliefs of the subconscious mind or vice versa. Of course, we can and in many cases do work with just one modality on a client but when possible using a mix of modalities is advised. A multi- modality approach simply expedites the journey allowing us to take the highway instead of side roads! With multiple modalities, the client experiences a complete mind and body balance.
In what ways does biofeedback in the SEM technique empower individuals to gain control over mental and physiological responses during healing?
With biofeedback, when the report displays the emotional and physiological stressors, most clients irrefutably are able to connect or relate to the results. This helps them to then take action for a healthy lifestyle. As they say, seeing is believing. When you have a machine that reads your body through bands around your wrists and ankles or by placing your hand on a cradle and the results are so relatable, you are motivated to take action.
Share brief success stories highlighting the effectiveness of combining hypnosis, reiki, biofeedback, and intuition in overcoming challenges like insomnia, anxiety, or low self-confidence.
It’s always interesting and mind-blowing when the client is receiving an intuitive reading in their first session with us. We know nothing about their history at this point. I’ll give a few examples but will use different names.
Jane, a 54-year-old, came to us wanting to heal from a bad breakup. The biofeedback showed respiratory weakness and recommendations of calming supplements. We proceeded to do Reiki with a Biological Intuitive Reading. I could feel her heart was terribly broken and her self-worth severely damaged. There were feelings of abandonment. Something at the age of 2 was the cause. Also, there was a lot of anger from the father. But then the larger pain was from the mother. Jane was feeling unprotected by her mother.
I then worked on balancing the energy throughout her body, releasing blockages in the lungs, heart, and roots. After the session, Jane explained that her father was an alcoholic who when she was two had come home drunk and angry. He was out of control yelling in rage. Jane was witness to this and was terrified.
Her mother was too afraid and cowered waiting for his rage to subside. She had always thought her issues were related to her father but suddenly understood that it was not feeling protected by her mother. She never understood why she felt a distance from her mother. No matter how much her mother tried she was unable to feel close to her. With hypnosis, she was able to see and heal her younger self and forgive her mother.
She also understood how she had subconsciously placed emotional limitations on romantic relationships in order to protect herself. We continued thereafter with another six hypnosis and reiki sessions continuing to heal her inner child, reprogram her subconscious mind, and balance her energy.
Her confidence levels had skyrocketed; she began to engage in activities that were self-enriching; and her relationship with her mother took a huge turn for the better.
Sally, a 32-year-old, was complaining about feeling unusually tired despite sleeping long hours. The biofeedback indicated that her thyroid was out of balance and then there was an imbalance with vitamin B6 and B12. It also indicated that heavy metals were affecting the quality of her sleep. The Biological Reiki Reading indicated that she needed to slow down, tap into her creativity through movement, and reduce acid-producing foods. I then worked on balancing her body’s energy with reiki. With hypnosis, we worked on building self-trust, activating her third eye (intuition), and igniting her creativity.
Sally began taking African Dance classes. She began to monitor her sleep and found the quality drastically improving. Despite adding physical exertion, her energy levels improved as did her self-trust and confidence. After years of procrastination, began to write the novel that had been residing only in her mind.
As an SEM practitioner, how do you use hypnosis, reiki, biofeedback, and intuition collectively to help individuals release negative beliefs and achieve relaxation, focus, and mental clarity?
When we do the modalities collectively, we would first run a Biofeedback test to see the stress blockages at the organ level and the recommended vitamins and minerals. The next step would be a Biological Reiki Reading. Within the same session, the client would also receive Reiki to balance their body’s energy.
We then review the findings with the client allowing them to record and/or take notes. With the acquired knowledge, we would move forward with the hypnosis to work towards the desired goal. Stress, lack of focus, insomnia, or anxiety are all symptoms, and beneath these symptoms is self-worth which needs healing.
