Embarking on a journey of healing and personal growth, Robin Hallett, in an insightful interview with MysticMag, delves into the profound experiences that have shaped her path as an intuitive healer.
From the transformative moment of witnessing her mother’s final days, Robin’s curiosity and desire to support those in deep suffering ignited her passion for healing. Through her practice, she skillfully employs a diverse range of modalities to connect clients with their inner spark, tailoring her approach to their unique needs.
Beyond individual sessions, Robin extends her wisdom and compassion through her weekly podcast, “Tea with Robin,” and heartfelt “Happy Mail” letters, as highlighted in her MysticMag interview, fostering a nurturing community of growth and self-discovery.
What inspired you to become an intuitive healer and start your practice?
I experienced an awakening in my early twenties that started me on this path. My mother was in the last stages of dying and I witnessed a process going on in her (and outside of her as well), it completely freaked me out and shook me to the core. But at the same time, I was so curious and hooked on learning as much as I possibly could.
This was also the time when it seemed like my life was falling apart and so my own learning began. Along the way, I felt something in me that really wanted to hold others who were suffering in deep and difficult ways, just like me. I wanted to help people who felt utterly alone and totally unprepared. I have been on my own journey since 1996 and started helping clients in the early 2000s. It continues to be my deep love and passion. I am so grateful.
How do you incorporate various healing modalities into your sessions to help clients connect with their inner spark?
The inner spark exists in every single one of us. But we each have very different ways of seeing it and accessing it. So it’s good to have many different ways to reach people and work with their unique and individual way of seeing and receiving energy.
Once I am sitting with someone in session, it’s usually very easy to sense what will work best. It often reminds me of speaking many languages.
Can you share the concept behind your weekly podcast “Tea with Robin” and its impact on listeners?
I am speaking to the ones who suffer and feel challenged in life situations that arise for everyone. It’s very down-to-earth and accessible if you’re someone looking to keep growing on your path. I am grateful for the time to offer love and support to people just like me.
Also, there are great letters from listeners asking for support with their specific situations. It’s very interesting. I feel the impact has been deep and sweet for many people, it’s very satisfying to hear from people who share how listening has been so helpful.
I also am impacted by the friends and clients who listen and mirror back to me my own goodness and appreciation for what I am offering. The original format was a live meeting in my home on Sundays. I’d serve tea and we’d talk about the journey. I am so glad I got to do that.
How does writing “Happy Mail” every Wednesday contribute to your mission of inspiring and uplifting others?
Having a weekly letter is such a gift to me, first of all. The practice of writing to people consistently about our healing journey brings so many opportunities for me to heal my own anxiety and worry. Some people have been on my list since 2012 when I started writing it.
I usually take a theme that’s coming to me, for example, this week I wrote about self-care and making space to take care of yourself even though you have a million things going on and looming deadlines like taxes! Sometimes the letters are very deep, sometimes not. But always, there is love and support and warmth I am sending to people and I feel it’s so important for me to keep connecting on that level in as many ways as I can.
Also, when you love healing you love talking with people about the journey whether they pay you or not. I respond as much as possible. I love it.
In your healing practice, how do you approach the balance between providing guidance and empowering individuals to find their own answers?
It’s an important thing to see and understand how we want to offer guidance but also that this is only good if it’s coming from the higher self. Everyone has ego stuff that creeps in and it’s important to hang back and give space for my own deeper connection to Source before each session.
I care very much that people are empowered by our work, and that they receive healing and energetic attunement which will help them feel like they are able to hold their center and handle the rough patches on their own with confidence and not need to call someone else every time. So a lot of times, I refer people back to their own intuition and source even in session, I keep helping them to see how it works and what they need to do.
