Kayla Marie is a spiritual practitioner who has dedicated her life to helping others navigate their spiritual paths. What sparked your journey into the world of spiritual practice?
Ever since I was 2 years old I had a strong connection with spirit and i was blessed to have had a mum like mine who noticed my abilities and got me to learn modalities with spiritual leaders that allowed my gifts and passion to expand until it became a natural way of being. In my adult years I went and worked in corporate world and fell pregnant with my first child and my whole world changed I knew if I wanted to teach her anything it was to be who you truly are and do what lights you up and for me that was spirit so I ventured down the follow your heart path which has been the best decision I have ever made.
Can you take us inside the process of channeling messages from the spirit world?
I have a daily ritual which involves me creating an alter space which has each element earth, air, fire, water. I light a candle as a way to honour spirit I place lavender in the palms of my hands for opening up the Chanel of communication, place frankincense on the roof of my mouth and over my crown chakra to open to spiritual truth and tea tree oil on the back of my neck for protection I light some sage in my small cauldron and begin to move the smoke around my entire body and draw the pentagram in front of me along with the reiki symbols and
I also do a love heart and my intention with that is to anchor and surround the space in love from there I open with my prayer which invites the ancestors, angels, guides, past loved ones into the space that is where I begin to channel spirit by accessing what I call the pillar of light which anchors into earth and expands right up to what I refer to as the “Council of Light” or “They” which are my guides and I become a vessel to bring forth messages
How do you tailor your healing approach to meet the unique needs of each client?
I trust and completely surrender to spirit and that persons guides allowing my physical self to become the vessel so each experience is beautiful and unique in its own way as I am constantly co-creating with spirit.
What are some of the most memorable or transformative experiences your clients have shared?
It is so hard to choose because I feel that I get to share transformation on a daily basis which is such a gift in itself off the top of my head, In a reading with this beautiful client she had an elderly man come through who was holding a baby in his arms. They were surrounded in Rose quartz pink radiating the strongest unconditional love that I had felt. This was her father and her daughter who had passed away in her session she got the confirmation they were together and he was looking after her and to truly understand that the grief she had experienced in Life was all part of her purpose and what she was put here to do.
She had always had gifts in the spiritual sense but was so afraid to tap in and use them afraid of what other people would think , she went on to learn with reiki with me, completed my Online course and manifested to attend one of my Retreats in person she completely transformed and I can honestly say I am so proud when I see her jump on and do a live video on social media sharing her thoughts and her guidance she is receiving from the angelelic realm knowing how big that fear was and is now doing one on one readings.
I had an international client who was going through her awakening. She had a religious background so the things she was experiencing were really hard to understand and know how to integrate them into her personal life. Her husband was not open to spirituality and did not understand what she was going through this caused a disconnection in their relationship.
They ended up going through some rough times and separating which was really hard for her. We continue to work together and she was able to trust in the unfolding of her awakening which readings I always felt he would come around so when he messaged me to book in for a session my heart filled with excitement. He had no idea what he was getting himself into but he wanted to repair the relationship and understand his wife.
Ultimately he chose to grow with her, they were many things shared in his reading that he truly took on board. They sent me a video message expressing their experience how they connection had been deepening and their gratitude to me I think the reason why this story sort out so much to me is because I witnessed someone who did not share the same beliefs and values and had a religious upbringing to actually experience the unexplainable. You just can’t make this stuff up which is what makes it so phenomenal.
Could you share both the challenges and the deeply fulfilling moments that come with being a spiritual practitioner?
I think the biggest challenges I personally have faced in this career is learning to truly trust… I had some experiences in childhood which I guess made my biggest lesson in life which was to trust not just in people but in experiences and my big future dreams there has been times where I feel. It has been very hard to keep holding trust but anyone who is reading this would know that that is all part of the unfolding learning how to hold a vibration you know your soul is needing to anchor in the present experience.
There is so many fulfilling moments in this field of work. I have to say when people who have lost someone that they love and they come through in a session that jolt to the heart that they receive is beyond beautiful along with when someone has completely lost their inner spark they’re worth their love for self and I can be a part of them reuniting with those lost parts is the most humbling experience that I am truly grateful for.
Where do you envision your practice heading in the future, and are there any new modalities or areas you’re eager to explore?
I am about to start learning astrology which I’m really excited for! And I have many dreams I am working on bringing to reality In the future, I am visioning on creating my own Retreat space that can accommodate large groups of people held on beautiful land, I also wish to finish writing and publish my second book/oracle cards that will share modalities that will guide people on their journeys, encouraging them to always be connected to their heart. I wish to share the message of this book with the world by travelling and giving talks in various locations so that people can experience the energy and magic in person.
