What inspired you to start your psychic reading business?
I discovered when I was 23 that I wanted to be in the healing arts world and profession. I left an aspiring career in theater and went on to get training in massage therapy, hypnotherapy, and energy healing. I was always naturally very psychic and intuitive, but I didn’t realize how much the healing arts and psychic reading and healing went together until I began doing the healing work.
My psychic reading business was an organic unfoldment based on four years of massage therapy and energy healing professional practice I had already had. I began training in straight psychic reading and mediumship during that period and just added the skills to my current healing practice. That was about 28 years ago!
What services do you offer?
I offer psychic and mediumistic readings, channeling guidance from spirit guides and angels and what I call the higher realms and energy healing and classes in spiritual and psychic and mediumship development. My husband Jonathan and I opened The Healing Essence Center in Concord, MA 30 years ago. Jonathan is an acupuncturist and Ayurvedic and nutritional healing practitioner. We created a holistic healing center together.
What is the most popular type of reading that customers are looking for? What are the most common concerns that interest them?
It’s about a 50/50 split between psychic reading and mediumship reading in terms of what my clients are looking for. Popular readings requested are the ” combo” which includes psychic reading for the client and also a mediumship connection with loved ones in spirit. The other popular “combo” I have is psychic reading and an energy healing session combined.
The most common concerns I find for clients asking for a psychic reading are life path, relationships and personal growth questions. In mediumship most commonly there is a desire for one or two specific loved ones to make a connection with. Sometimes people are just interested to see who is around them, wanting to bring them communication.
Are some types of psychic readings more demanding or difficult than others?
I’d say the most challenging reading is for a person who is expecting the reading to answer everything in absolutes. Prediction is a moving target, meaning we are beings of free will, and a psychic is seeing what the probable outcomes are for a given question or situation as it is showing up in the energy field of the client at that time of the reading. Predictions absolutely can be made and are often accurate, however, the client’s free will can shift those predicted outcomes.
The other demanding situation is when a client is stuck in a negative state of mind and can’t allow openness in themselves to receive what the reading is guiding them toward. In my work as a psychic, the intention is always to bring wisdom, healing, and hopefully more openness and some peace and inspiration.
What can a person expect from a reading?
A person can expect to feel validated, more peaceful and reassured, and hopefully inspired with a deeper connection to themselves and their spirit.
What is the best part of your job?
There are many wonderful things about being a psychic reader and healer. I love being in the energy of spirit and guides and my higher self and being in the presence of my clients’ energy field of their guides and spirit and higher self. It’s about soul to soul connection. I feel so uplifted not only by the work itself, but by seeing and validating the soul essence of another person, and helping them in the smallest and largest ways on their personal human journey.
