Meet Zoë Baldwin, a seasoned House Healer, Sound Healing Therapist, and psychic with a deep-rooted passion for spiritual healing. In the newest edition of MysticMag interviews, Zoë takes us on a journey into the world of energy and, divination, offering profound insights into her unique approach to well-being and balance.
Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and share a few details about your professional journey?
Hi, I’m Zoë. Like many in this field, I grew up seeing, hearing, and feeling things I was told weren’t ‘real’. Then as I got older, I was told by quite a few psychics (while getting readings) that it was my path too. Like many, and being naturally sceptical and somewhat stubborn, I was in denial at first. Then in my early 30’s, I met some friends who were into Spiritual Healing, and I began to unofficially learn from them and work on myself. From there I started to get more interested in intuition and psychic development for my own personal development. I went to a workshop where I communicated intentionally and directly with spirit for the first time and that was the real start of my journey. After studying Mediumship for a couple of years in circle I decided to formally train in healing and started, as many do with Reiki. In 2014, having moved to Vancouver Island, I decided it was time to put my training into practice and I established Mountain Heights Healing in beautiful Sooke, BC.
I am so lucky to have had amazing Mentors and Teachers who have nurtured my love of learning and I see my learnings as tools in my healing belt.
What is a House Healer?
A House Healer is someone who can identify aspects of you and your environment, be it your home, work, or anywhere else, that are detrimental to you, and harmonize them.
Some energy makes us feel uplifted, well, and joyful, but some … not so much. Being around an energy that is detrimental to us for long periods of time can affect our wellbeing energetically, emotionally, and physically.
As a House Healer, I work remotely focusing on and harmonizing:
– Geopathic Stress (eg underground water, earth energy lines, energetic sink holes);
– Technopathic Stress (eg wifi – especially 5G, harmful frequencies);
– Geopsychic Stress (eg independent detrimental thought forms, animal spirits);
– Personal Health (eg ancestral DNA issues, lunar or solar influences, psychic hooks or cords).
Can you walk me through one of your Sound Healing Therapy sessions?
All my treatments begin with a thorough consultation. I feel it is just as important to build a rapport with the client and that they feel comfortable and know what is going happen, as it is to know about their physical, mental, and emotional state as well as whether, or not, they have any contra-indications.
Once the client is comfortable on the massage table, I guide them through some relaxation and breathing techniques.
All sessions are different depending on what is needed for the client but typically tend to start with soothing sounds (maybe rain stick or ocean drum) to continue the relaxation. Very often this is followed by the removal of unwanted energy from the energetic body (maybe using a drum or rattle). Then I will move onto anything else that needs working on. Maybe there is a specific physical area that needs work (I find on-body tuning forks work wonderfully, especially for muscle issues eg). Often a chakra clearing and balancing is needed (my favourite for this is a combination of crystal bowls and crystal practitioner bowls). Maybe there are some emotion issues the client is going through (the emotional release and rebalance protocol using the Harmonic Spectrum Tuning fork set is ideal for this). Whichever instruments I use I always use Koshi Chimes at the end – it is my signal to the client that it is time to come back to the room.
After the client has settled and has a glass of water we do a debrief and I give them an aftercare sheet to take home with them.
What can you tell me about your divination services?
As a psychic, I connect with each client personally on an energetic level using divination tools such as Oracle Cards, Pendulums, and Psychometry. As a medium, I communicate with my clients’ healthy loved ones in spirit, their spirit guides, and my own spirit guide team. I do individual readings, in person or via Zoom or phone, and also offer small group reading sessions as well.
I feel that readings are healing in the form of guidance, affirmation, and assurance in our lives that help us on our personal healing journeys. I also believe everything we are told in readings is open to our own free will and it’s important for clients to know that.
What other services do you offer?
I’m a Reiki Master / Teacher and I include Reiki in all my services as well as a service in its own right. I am also certified in, and offer, Crystal Healing Therapy, Indian Head Massage, and Reiki Drumming. I also offer an Energy Cleansing and Tune Up which I have developed myself using Sound, Crystals, and Reiki including tips on how to cleanse and protect your own energy.
Whichever healing modality you choose I include an element of one, or more, of the others to enhance the healing experience and provide an intuitive individualized treatment.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
As well as teaching all levels of Reiki I teach interactive courses and workshops in small groups, covering different aspects of spirituality eg intuitive development, tea leaf reading, psychic development, and oracle card reading. I am also blessed to teach Certification in Indian Head Massage through The International College of Energy Healing (www.internationalcollegeofenergyhealing.com).
