Can you tell us about the inspiration behind starting Luna Holistics and the mission behind the platform?
I had always had an interest in our spiritual realm as a child after having an experience when I was just 7 years old. My grandfather passed away suddenly from a heart attack. I had not been told about this by my mother or grandmother as I guess it happened when I was in bed. However the same night I had a vivid dream. In this dream awake state I saw my grandfather and spoke to him, he told me he was absolutely fine and I must tell my grandmother that everything was going to be Ok and all was well. He told me not to be upset when I was informed he would not be coming home but to know he would always be there for me. I was of course a little confused as to why he woke me up to tell me this and told my mum and grandma the next morning that I had seen grandad last night and he said to tell you all he was OK. They of course both looked rather shocked at this as they had not yet told me or my siblings of his passing.
My inspiration for Luna courses came over 18 years ago when I lived in Spain. I was asked if I could write my own tarot course as I had been reading the cards for many years. I actually thought this was a great idea as I was so wary of how many tarot readers, although they had been self-taught, had picked up bad habits. I wanted people to understand how the tarot could be a useful tool in our everyday lives provided we learned some basic meanings but learned how to develop our own natural psychic abilities and intuition which we all have. I wanted to ensure that readers who took my course would be excellent readers and have an ethical approach to tarot, unlike many readers who can end up scaring their clients with careless interpretations of readings. I then went on to write a number of other courses on subjects which I was very familiar with. For the more therapeutic courses and subjects I was not familiar with I employed expert writers so I could always be sure that the courses I was offering were professional enough to allow any student to then practice as a therapist once completed.
What different courses do you offer?
We believe that holistic and spiritual practices go hand in hand, and we have designed all our courses with this philosophy in mind. Our courses cover a wide range of subjects, including Aromatherapy, Bach Flower remedies, Coaching, Teaching Level 3, and Yoga, all of which are geared towards promoting spiritual and physical well-being.
I take pride in offering a diverse range of courses, over 30 in total, ensuring that there is always something for everyone, no matter their level of experience or interest. Luna courses are designed for the more spiritually inclined person, who is seeking to deepen their understanding and connection to themselves and the world around them.
How do you ensure the quality and credibility of the courses offered on Luna Courses?
By ensuring that the course material and information being offered are written by professionals in their own field. We also offer advanced-level courses for those subjects that need more in-depth training such as aromatherapy and life coaching. All Luna courses are fully accredited by one of the world’s most respected accreditation boards (The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). This shows the student that our courses are recognised for insurance purposes should they then wish to continue to work in their chosen field as a professional practitioner.
Does Luna Holistics offer any certifications or credentials upon course completion?
Yes, our basic level courses offer a certificate and our more advanced level courses are diploma level. All are recognised by IPHM which cover worldwide accreditation and in the case of some of our coaching courses we are further recognised for NLP level 1,2 and Life coaching level 1,2,3 by ACCPH Professional Body for Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Clinical Hypnotherapists. These accreditations mean that you will receive professional and quality training, underpinned by a rigorous code of conduct. Some of our other courses such as psychic development, angel therapy, etc. are also accredited by other independent accreditation boards both in the USA and Australia.
What is in store for Luna Holistics going forward? What could we expect from the company in the near future?
We have recently moved over to a new platform which is more student-friendly enabling our students to take their exams at a time to suit them and no longer have to wait up to 10 days for their exam results. They now have their own student dashboard where they can access our student library which offers further helpful tips for case studies, links to videos, and even free fun mini-guides in chakras, auras, and numerology. Our students can benefit now and in the future from low-cost learning courses with approved qualifications included and of course our personal support. Our courses have the benefit of not having to be tied to your computer or having to have wifi. Once you have downloaded the course you can work from any device. This can be of great benefit for those who have unstable internet connection or simply want to sit and read their course work during their lunch break or at a time to suit them.
