Your books have been described as phenomena, refreshing, blunt, and uplifting, with a unique interactive approach. Can you share the inspiration behind this innovative format and how it has resonated with your audience?
Before I began writing, I used to give away other people’s books because prior to that, I’d had an awakening. Well, perhaps that’s not entirely true. I was waking up, stirring if you like, but I’m not certain when the book giveaway began. My awakening happened in the middle of one night. I went to bed as usual and then it occurred, all by itself. My family thought I was ill, suddenly I had answers to questions I didn’t even know I had questions about. I began to read all kinds of books that fell into my conscious space, like dominoes falling into place. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was being led on a path of discovery by ‘light-workers unseen’ working with me as part of my calling, my awakening. My hunger for knowledge was insatiable, but at the same time higher information was pouring in, much like taking my finger out of a dam, only instead of water it was knowledge that came flooding through. I used to gift other people’s books, yet they didn’t convey what inside I felt and knew to be true; they didn’t depict all they could… I’m uncertain if my awakening occurred before then or not – as time passes swiftly and sometimes things, time and dates meld together; however, I didn’t anticipate writing one book—let alone more, these simply unfolded.
So, for about a year, I wrote what I believed was my first book because things inside needed to get out. Upon reading the manuscript, I realized it was but a skeleton, that it still lacked essential elements I wanted to share. For a year or more this project sat before me like an obstacle in my psyche; then one Easter time as I was sitting in my healing room, quietly sending distant healing to an ever-expanding list of names and places, someone tangibly tapped the back of my hand. Intuitively communicating upstairs had already begun, so I was informed this was a spirit child, the great, great, great grandchild of my own Guardian – Two Moons. Her name was Little Star. She came to teach me how to write with spirit gently guiding my hand. Once that ability had been acquired, we revisited the manuscript.
The first book, “And So It Begins / aka ‘The Winds of Change,” emerged quickly. Initially, it was reworded by my Chinese Guide Mr. Mee – in approximately 38 pages, but the message was far too blunt, super strong – although completely seeped in truth. I knew we couldn’t produce this material in such a manner. Consequently, another guide stepped forward—an individual named Mr. Benjamin. He presented himself to be more like President Lincoln, clothed in the same attire. Together, the three of us penned “The Winds of Change.” Spirit actually bestowed that title upon me. I vividly recall entering a music shop one day, before a title had even been thought of, seeking only to purchase a clarinet reed. A lady standing in front of me at the checkout persisted to inform me several times that her child attended a music school called ‘The Suzuki School of Music’. It was her ‘need’ to ensure that I receive the message that caught my attention. I already recognized back then that Spirit often communicates through messages and signposts when we’re fully present in the moment. Coupled with my husband’s interest in motorbike racing—Suzuki’s logo at that time “Ride the Winds of Change”—became the inspiration behind the book’s title. Seemingly out of nowhere “The Winds of Change” emerged.
The book was published, but not too long after “Hay House” found me. It was they who labeled my work a phenomenon. Being a publishing house, they agreed to publish my work but wanted to change the title because another author Stuart Wider, whom they had already signed had offered a book with a similar title. “The Winds of Change” became “And So It Begins”, but on the inside even now, each chapter still retains its original heading that links us to the winds of change that blow through our lives…
Simultaneously, as I penned the first book I also wrote “Life Is Calling.” (first called “Just for Today”, before Hay House changed that title too). Initially, I perceived these writings as personal lessons for myself, but when these numbered entries reached nearly 400, I realized we’d birthed another book – much like a deck of cards that could be shuffled, and Spirit then too affirmed this.
My family, friends and husband were worried about me because of the shift that was happening around me, my work and my awakening as they hadn’t known anything like this before. Fears about cults and their consequences permeated their thoughts – due to prevalent media reports. But this only served to make ‘me’ my greatest critique – to ensure that what was happening was right.
It was at that time that I made pact with God. A deliberate conscious connection that was to work. I fully acknowledged that these books were not solely mine but rather instead that they belonged to God/Source/The Universal Divine Consciousness we are all part of. I knew this material wasn’t just for me but for everyone, as everyone deserved to know truths of what they were part of. I entrusted my work back to ‘upstairs’ to ensure its manifestation would positively impact every individual who encountered it. This responsibility weighed heavily on me. I could not condone the thought of anyone misinterpreting the teachings. Charging this back up to God would ensure its efficacy. And over the years, this pact has held true and still does – for everyone has their own angel/guides/helpers – as well as their own soul agenda. Each connects back to the whole of that which were part of. Everything I do – I charge back to God / back to pure consciousness itself, back to that which cradles all life, to the Divine Masculine/Feminine raw creative presence responsible for ensuring each message’s clarity and impact as it’s received.
Initially, I hadn’t anticipated the profound connection facilitated by “And So It Begins.” However, it functions as a three-way link. Merely by holding the book, one’s Angel steps forward to provide immediate healing—even in moments of distress. Moreover, there’s no need for questions as your own angel and God/Source/The Universal Consciousness understands our soul’s journey comprehensively. They know our motivations, thoughts, intents and actions intimately, all that sits behind everything we’ve ever been – better than we do. Occasionally, someone opens to a page where they might question its relevance, but later in the day as events unfold, light is shed onto its significance. These books possess a profound power, precisely attuned to one’s needs, often before one even realizes those needs exist. They are instruments of immense potency, intricately intertwined with the fabric of our lives – like a real-time organic life line.
Your books emphasize the importance of seeing the full and complete picture of life’s unfolding drama. How do you guide readers to shift their perspective and embrace the interconnectedness of their experiences within the greater whole?
I don’t need to cajole or guide, the presence working with and through each reader – reveals itself, proves itself to be real…
Everyone is born with a connectedness, with their own ability to gain intuition and insight, but over time we forget this and are rarely taught it, if even ever.
Each of them is born with a guardian angel. Not necessarily an angel with wings, although most people on the other side/upstairs – as you know, they’re all angels; people on this plain often find their guardian angels to be native or indigenous people because during their own physical lifetime, they had to be vigilant, very good at keeping watch. They had to have patience. Just think about this – it takes a lot of energy, a lot of time for our angels to maneuver us into position at the right time and place to make connections that we need; and even then at the very last minute we change our mind – we think “oh, I’m just too tired, I’m not going to go; so & so wouldn’t like it if I did that…” etc., and so the required opportunity then falls away. Our angels try very hard to keep us on track, but how often do we actually realize this or hear?
Now people often say, “if I have an angel, why has my life been so rubbish? Or, okay, if there is a God, why does he not respond when life needs help or when I called for help? Why are so many bad things happening?” Why do good people get hurt? Well, the truth is that God doesn’t make bad things happen; people are responsible for everything. We were given the gift of free will – so God cannot intervene unless we ask because of free will, and then only if conditions are right, because life / God / Divine Consciousness itself – is on everyone’s side – without prejudice or favorites.
Whether you call it the Divine, whether you call it God, whether you call it the universe or just plain old consciousness itself, the life force that we’re part of is the consciousness that exists in each and every one of us that we can never separate or disconnect from – not ever; whether we’re in or out of body, we can never disconnect from ‘that’; because ‘that’ part of us can’t disconnect from the whole and the whole can’t disconnect or separate from any part of itself. Does this make sense? So, in actuality, we’re always connected – whether we know it, accept it, understand or realize this or not – we’re always connected.
Before being born we each had a sole agenda, we knew what we were coming here to achieve / do, but during the birthing process, we forgot all about that because on an individual level we each have to learn to be present in this time frame. There’s no point now knowing that previously we hunted or were war lords, that we made pots or we raced in carts or carriages – because it has no relevance here in this place. We choose our time and place of birth for reasons of soul growth and development, to gain the best advantage here in this life and have the best chance of reaching triggers and targets that we set for ourselves – hence deja-vu.
God/Source/Divine/The Universe – gives us every opportunity to become all we want and need to be and know during the course of our lifetime. A lot of this is simply learning how to be here, how to navigate, but we also learn to process information, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and intent… This becomes individuality and part of our behavior, the programming of how we process information and events, as we respond to what occurs – and all of that becomes our present life here.
But many people now are feeling stuck as they experience specific stages or levels of physical life, many I give readings to… It’s almost like they’ve been through a process of living death where they feel disconnected, lost, redundant or let down by physical life; they’ve lost some part of themselves. They haven’t got a vision and don’t know how they can move forward, and sometimes this is why they feel lost and stuck. But they’re not stuck. Instead, life is holding them steady in a safe place to assist, to ensure they don’t cling onto things or begin something new that is unnecessary. This decision is part of soul programming that we put there for ourselves to help us grow. This is a bit like being in the film Jumanji when a dice is thrown or dropped, even accidentally, each saga must continue until it’s fully played out before the player can roll the dice again; in reality life must sometimes hold us steady, still, in place – so we don’t go off on tangents in directions no longer necessary, especially when like now – we’re in transition.
We all have an opportunity to make a growth shift. At the end of every stage or level, or when old tasks are finished – we must stand still, tread water, tread water and wait until conditions change around us and things move up a gear, so your next choices and opportunities will present, on this new level…
What this really is, if you think about it properly is ascension. In the old days past we would have died to reach this point, but then the problem would be that if you physically die, you’re no longer here – so you can’t add anymore to your story or to your frequency to tidy up. But instead we ARE here, we’re being given the opportunity to transition NOW to do the work: As we all ascend, the lower levels of heaven are descending to meet and greet us. It’s the joining of two levels in time and space to operate as ONE – which is why so many people are awakening at the moment, giving us a chance to reassess the life we’ve lived whilst we’re still here living and to gather tools we’ve gained, because until you reach this point of soul awakening, we’re asleep within our life, protecting our version of it, believing that all we’ve known thus far is the identity of who we are. But it isn’t. None of it is. Each part is simply a facet, a journey of growth and survival, an example of how we’ve reached this place, this point of who and where we are upon Earth planet in this now time: Many can live an entire life here without making any progress on soul level at all: When they get back home to heaven and they say sincerely “well, I’ve been a good person, I’ve done good things”, they might discover they have not progressed as much on sole level or they haven’t achieved what they set out to do with their time spent here. If they ‘pop off’ before they ‘awaken’ they could be disappointed by what’s been missed, forgotten or overlooked…
Some people only came to experience here on Earth to tick as many boxes physically as they possibly could and that is it. The next steps in progression would then fall to the next generation, to the next member of the ancestral chain to punch through to higher knowledge. But souls that haven’t even entertained the possibility there could be more, may have to wade through some of the hard stuff once again just to reach that same point of awakening – whether on this planet or upon another. The whole purpose of awakening is so that once you awaken, even if you popped off back to spirit the very next day, you at least broke through the sleep state we’ve all been stuck in. Next time you’ll at least birth to a family that’s at their waking point – and so the journey continues.
Each time we birth into a body, which is a gift and our birthright, we take the place another soul could have used this time round that could have been more awakened, more gifted, more enlightened, who then could have contributed greater gifts to the human program playing out – to assist it better. Perhaps you can begin to see why it’s our duty to awaken in this lifetime, if only to learn to be happy in our skin, to be happy in the life that we live; to learn how to love and to keep love we desire, to keep it flowing; to take the blinkers off and really see what’s going on within this lifetime. I do hope this all makes sense… I mean, God can’t intervene because of free will being the very bricks / the foundation of who we are and what all is built on. If God steps in – in any form (other than when something occurs and there’s no chance of your survival, to minimize your experience of something terrible, when an Angel might whisk you out of body and anyway before the end), it would negate free will, so that cannot be. God has no choice but to wait for each and every soul to wake up, and to know this on soul level was part of my own awakening experience.
God has waited all this time for us to stir / awaken, for us to realize, understand, remember what we are and what we’re part of; that the totality of this life force isn’t an Alleluia, Praise the Lord experience. God doesn’t need our worship; doesn’t need us to be regimental, it’s just necessary for us to breathe and to be happy, to understand all the gifts and opportunities we possess in every moment here, to understand what we’re capable of and what we’re part of, but also to invite that conscious, living part of itself back into our own life – in a divine conscious way, to communicate with us, to live and create alongside with us. God needs to know our sadness and our fears, our wants and hopes and dreams, so it can provide for and assist us with those needs. I say ‘It’ with respect because by ‘It’ I mean God’s a life force, it’s THE FORCE OF LIFE of all life, there to provide everything that we think we want, that which we don’t know we want or even that which we don’t want because God cannot judge. WE ARE the ones with discernment and it’s only whilst in this body that we access that power, the ability to know right from wrong, when we stick on the labels of whether we should or should not have done something When we step out of body when our time on Earth is done and we go back home to heavenly realms, to whichever side we’ll gravitate – there is no discernment, because we’ll be at the place earned by our frequency through our actions and all we’ve been within this lifetime…
All through life here on Earth we’re changing and updating our frequency, we’re fine-tuning it. When we return to heaven, and we haven’t hit our triggers, we perhaps can’t go forward into areas we would have liked to visit, work or live in. If the frequency is different to ours – we can’t get access.
In heaven you can learn whatever you like, but you can’t own it till you’ve lived it physically for it then becomes your frequency.
Physical life is where you take raw energy that you use and by your actions, you lock it into the real-time frequency of earth.
We’re all trying to birth heaven on earth. Now, you and I can’t do that all alone because technically we’re just ordinary, we’re people; but when we connect back to God – to the source of all in its entirety, we have all of that ‘formed and still unformed, raw creative life force’ at our disposal. And do you know what else, why we can’t do bad things once we awaken? it’s not because we’re so good and saintly, but because it doesn’t sit with us. It just doesn’t rest right with our conscience. Even if we did do something and managed to get away with it, so nobody knew – we would know – and it just wouldn’t sit right deep inside; so we’d go back to correct it, to make things better.
Sometimes in life, we upset people or we hurt people without meaning to. But do you know what? When you’ve done everything that you can do to correct that and it hasn’t worked, when you don’t know what else to do, the only thing left is to close your eyes and imagine God like an old man, and you’re holding onto his coat like a child, to ask for help. For example, “Please help me. I did this… I said that and this happened… I didn’t mean it to. It went the wrong way… Please, can you take it away from me? First of all – please give me some healing, balance, peace, clarity and protection… Close me down. Make me small. I pass the whole scenario to you to correct on our behalf… As I send this up to you, please grant them some healing? Can you give them what they need to assist them, so this can be rectified…
Sometimes things are bigger than simply you and me. Sometimes other thoughts, actions and intentions are at play; things might have to happen on other levels or within the other person’s story before they can be rectified or healed: We can’t always see the whole part of the saga that we’re in or are creating – like the paintbrush doesn’t know what design it will create – because it’s just the tool in the hands of the master. In such a manner we too can’t always see what we’re weaving.
What type of services do you offer?
I help people to know they are more than they know that they are. I have books and cards which can be purchased online or at events I teach and speak at. I do talks, lectures and workshops – as well as one-to-one readings at the shows I visit. I work online, on the telephone, on Zoom and on Skype, but I’m also running workshops in the UK, up and down the country. So, if you’re lucky enough to catch me and I’m in your area, they’re powerfully intimate – with the potential to be life changing. Generally 10 – 20 people get to spend the day with me. In this way they learn easy but powerful self-healing techniques and processes to help them in different areas of their unfolding life, immediately.
I’m really lucky, my expertise is expansive as it covers many areas, including help for teens and young people, relationships of all kinds (i.e. love, family friends, past, present…), older people – to grant greater understanding of what they’ve been through, what they still have left to accomplish whilst being still here; and even to remove the fear of death: I too help single parents with life and parenting skills – and let’s not forget men generally – who often get forgotten or overlooked.

When it comes to matters of my being the Soulpreneur ™, when I do a reading, the first thing I see is where that person is in their life, where they’re situated, where things are stuck, and what needs to come in or change. I won’t share examples because of privacy, but whenever I do them, the people I read for are amazed. But from there what we do with our work is that we help people understand why they’ve gone through what they have, help them see that they’re more. Even my book “Grave Doubts” helps people find the invisible threads that have run through their life. It makes them question everything – but leaves them in no doubt that they need to get life sorted out now, to leave things in better shape: And again, this leads to more questions, so I help, I work from a soul level. I used to be an interior designer but lost my business to the recession back in the early ’90s; it was a world -wide recession. I think I lost myself back then too – and it took quite a few years to recover – because it was personal to me, but that was before my awakening and now I understand things much better. Funnily enough I am still kind of interior design, except today I work with people’s understanding – to redesign and help them see things in an entirely different way…
How do you practice self-care to maintain your own well-being?
As often as possible – I am completely present. I live with one foot here, one foot there. Being completely in tune with upstairs, I teach people that Source / The Universe / Consciousness (whatever that is for each one of us, but really it’s all the same energy), that God has to be their best friend, their everything, what they turn to every moment of every day, so much so it’s just like breathing, even when asleep, if they’re in trouble in their dreams, they must call on that God force in a heartbeat – and it will respond. God is as natural to me as my life force, not in a Hallelujah, Praise the Lord type of relationship, for this is nothing to do with religion (as religion is a limited concept, a path, a place to begin, but then question and grow forward from, to punch through like a ceiling and then grow even higher as we learn to understand and trust better). My connection to God in my own daily life is so strong that I treat this relationship as a friend on all levels. For example, when I’m out at a restaurant with two or more dishes I like the look of, I ask silently “Which one will I like best?” and then I trust the answer – because when I don’t ask and just order – I wish I had because what comes is never as nice. So practice has taught me to invite this help into my life in an ordinary, everyday manner, and I never look back. When I ask for guidance – I always go with it. So, I’m working and living in this creative God’s energy 24/7, much like having a side-kick on tap (and when you really think about it – what a privilege is that, to work directly with the creative intelligence that created everything – to know completely it’s at our disposal like a friend, a best friend that knows you completely), and for those working with us upstairs on this level, the ordinary things everyday are like a breath of fresh air – compared with huge anxieties they’re usually called in for…
I’m a high vibration/high energy being and I teach others to be the same, not in a crazy bounce off the walls way, but more like an ever-ready battery – always topped up… Whatever work I am doing, it should not drain my vibration, because if it did – I’d be doing it wrong. I would be using my own energy instead of bringing it in from source and from those working with me, masters, guides, helper, light workers from Earth and from The Universe itself. So, at the end, I’m usually just as wired and awake as I was at the start. At that point I ask God to harvest what I don’t need, to reuse it where it’s required for something else, so I sleep well.
I live completely in tune with all of this because when I first had my awakening, I was sad when I realized that God had waited all this time for us (individually, as a whole and as a species), to come back online in terms of realization, understanding, remembering and communicating) … I remember saying to God, without truly knowing the depth of what I was saying (as in reality, I didn’t understand what this would entail, because just waking up – I simply wanted to be a good mother. I wanted to be happy. I wanted to be a healer, but I wanted to be a really good healer. I didn’t want to be a plaster or just ordinary lip service, and even with that statement too, I didn’t know what I was saying. I just had these words and this feeling inside of me, they just came out), so I said to God that I would be a voice if God needed one, to help awaken and to bring people back home. I was willing to help as I too had been helped – so in a way, I’m a bit like a shepherdess – but for people instead of for sheep, and remember it’s always good to ask questions…
You know, there are so many good people doing many good things, but it’s surprising how many f these whom you think work with the light, so should know better – are not well connected in terms of communicating directly with God itself, as often they’re entwined or stuck within their own thoughts of religion – or even rebelling against it. Yet awakening / mindfulness is not about religion. It supersedes it instead. If you strip all of that back, when we step out of our body and beliefs, there’s only us left individually in a finer energy form, still very much feeling, knowing and alive; there is nothing more to choose from or to connect with – we’ll just be…
In the realms of pure spirit – instead of money, the currency used upstairs is love and service. And service is what each soul will use to improve their soul frequency (as we do too on Earth), to ascend and become more and more aligned with God / Source. Souls become finer as they climb up the ladder or travel through various levels of progression. You know, one day in the far off future, we’ll all be living on that God vibration level, swimming around in the soup of creation, happily content… But then one day once again, someone will stir, a soul bored with that existence will want more, will ask a question, and so the whole creative / evolution process will start again; and this will always happen because it must, life cannot stagnate or it can’t exist, because ultimately isn’t that what we are too – pure consciousness exploring, experiencing, ever learning, growing and achieving…
The whole of it is simply quite amazing, but then that’s what makes me sad when I think of all that’s happening across the globe. So many are still asleep – but make decisions that affect us one and all. We’ve forgotten fundamental truths – the law of Karma, that nothing can be hidden, that all we are and will become is encoded within the make-up of our soul, within our frequency. All we believe and think – we put life into – we attract. What we give attention to – we make it bigger. The sum of a lifetime here lived will become how we are known – for many life-times after, and will dictate what we’ll attract and then live later. This prospect’s huge and we’ve barely scratched the surface of remembering. It’s so important that while we’re here we get things right.
People often say, “How can there be a God if bad things happen?” But it isn’t God that makes things happen as depicted earlier, it’s people who are responsible and it’s our task to now wake up and do things better.
We hear people say ‘I can’t get away with anything, I just get caught”, but then that’s great, because they’re on instant karma. Nothing can be accrued – so they live better. Those that seem to get away with things we can’t, they’re accruing still. At some point things will change and they will fall, and so they’ll learn – as we did too…
Some people can’t feel they can’t talk to God because they feel guilty about things they’ve done or been or could have handled better. But we’re actually already forgiven for our mistakes. How can we be held responsible for what occurred – when we didn’t understand the unfolding picture?
A lot of karma is negated. Our angels, guides and God have waited long for us to come back on track, to awaken / turn around; and as soon as this occurs – a line is drawn and you get another chance to be a better version of yourself, a better person. But this also means that everything you’ve done so far, until you reached that point has become who you are now. Remember you can’t always see why things are happening, what’s going on behind the scenes – for whom. Life is so much bigger than we imagined. And you have more importance than you know.
Our task is to be happy in this moment now. In every nanosecond, there’s always two choices, two internal voices – a positive and a negative, and so it’s up to us to become aware of that. We may get tangled in our thoughts and our beliefs, instead of checking if they’re actually still relevant. The mind is like a child – it will roam where it’s allowed – until you pull it back and take control. Once you say ‘come here – or stop’, all returns to quiet, so inspiration and insights will come back in.
Life needs you on track – your wellbeing really matters. When you feel good – all you send out is finer, better.
