How did your professional beginnings look like and what were some challenges you faced early on your journey?
Like a lot of alternative health practitioners, I had another life before this one! I began my career in sciences, thinking I would go into medicine. However, life had other plans and I ended up going into Medical Laboratory Analysis and worked as a Lab Tech for a while. At some point, it was time for a change and upon urging from my family, I became a Montessori Elementary teacher. This allowed me to grow as a person, travel, work overseas, and realize that I was good at teaching. I realized that my strength is in guiding children while supporting the parents; as well.
I was introduced to hypnosis by someone who heard me and thought that I had a perfect voice for it. Although it was something completely different for me, it sounded right, and my new career began. Along the way, I added nutrition, after getting my Master’s in Holistic Nutrition, and Akashic Records came later. While working in Tokyo, I became a Reiki Master, as well.
What can you tell me about Hypno-Coaching Children?
When I first started my hypnosis practice, I was under the impression that I would not be working with children anymore. However, my first three clients were children! After I started working with the children, I would receive a call from their parent saying that their child told them that “it was time to see Sainoor again!”
Although I work with children, I came across people telling me that they didn’t know that I worked with children and were glad because they wanted me to work with their children. This got me thinking that I should let people know and create a new page advertising it. When I was thinking of what to call it, I realized that working with children involves a lot of coaching as well, because they are easy to hypnotize and enjoy chatting when we get together. When they feel safe, they discuss a lot of things and are open to suggestions.
What is Hypnonutrition and how can it be helpful in relation to weight loss?
When clients come for support for weight management or eating, I find that they also need help with foods and what might be a good diet for them. This is why I got my masters in Holistic Nutrition. This program helps clients learn about nutrition and their own bodies. We add hypnosis to anchor the changes they wish to make and replace the habits that are no longer working with healthier, positive, and lighter ones.
What information can come through an Akashic Record reading and what is that process like?
The way I read Akashic Records (AR) is similar to the way I work during hypnosis. I always begin with the present, where someone is, and then work with them to see where they would rather be. During an AR reading, we check to see where someone is and why – are they where they need to be and what possibilities exist for them to move forward. What comes through depends on the person having the reading and what is most important according to the records. Each reading is different and most people walk away with hope and clarity.
What other services do you offer?
Along with hypnosis (hypnocoaching, Hypnonutrition), nutritional consultation, and Akashic Records reading, I also offer workshops and monthly meditation. The monthly meditation, “Soothe Your Soul” is offered on the last Thursday of each month and is free for all. The workshops that I have offered have been on, “Learning to Open and Read your own records”, ‘The Balancing Act – Raising Happy and Happy Children’, ‘Working with children in your hypnosis Practice” and a few more.
