Can you please introduce yourself and share some details about your professional background?
I am Sachi The Scorpio. I run @SachiTheScorpio on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Biology and a Concentration in Neuroscience. I worked in a neuroscience lab for 4 years, two years of which I managed the lab. I worked in a genetics lab for a year. And then managed a material science research and development lab for almost 5 years before I left and pursued my spiritual business full-time. I’ve been reading Tarot since 2011 – a skill that eventually led me to develop Pokémon card reading. I began to study Astrology at age 9 and have been doing professional readings since 2018. I have always considered myself a student of the mystic arts since a very early age – I would communicate with nature and spirits frequently. By high school I was reading books on quantum mechanics, gnostic philosophy, astral projection, and other “taboo” topics – all of which led me to where I am now.

“A Phoenix Rising” sound like a very empowering name. What does it mean to you?
Phoenix is a symbol of transformation and death and rebirth, a totem of purposeful change and growth- which I identify as since my Sun and Pluto (the planet of transformation) are conjunct – which means they are close to each other – 1° to be exact. I have found there have been many versions of me throughout my life – all of which were birthed through experience and laid to rest by my spiritual Will, so that I could rebirth anew.
A Phoenix Rising simply means I am still ascending, I am still Rising. I have not reached my peak and will continue to allow the shamanic flames of alchemy to transmute my spirit in the most aligned ways. I have faced spiritual and physical death many times. Now, I do not fear change. Instead, I cause it.
How does spiritual mentorship work in practice and what can your clients hope to achieve with your mentorship?
Spiritual mentorship is a one-on-one live service I offer over Zoom where I provide mentorship in whatever way is needed for a client, through talking and developing actionable steps towards a desired outcome. This looks very different for each client, as everyone is in a different place in their life and has different goals. One client may intend to heal their broken heart. Another client may be trying to manifest their dream job. While another client may be going through the depths of their shadow work and have no idea what they’re doing, but know they need help. I offer my spiritual and scientific expertise to help my client achieve their goal – and I offer resources to them for areas that I am not a professional voice in. But most of my mentorship is focused on: healing from past trauma, navigating shadow work, how to step into or deepen one’s authenticity, how to stay spiritually aligned even in a chaotic world, and manifesting one’s Highest Vibrational Timeline. Through this, my clients can hope to achieve anything they set their spirits on.
Having a hard-science background, what led you down the spiritual path and how did you become a spiritual mentor?
I would actually say I was on a spiritual path much earlier than a scientific one. From as early as I can remember, I have had psychic gifts and been spiritually inclined. When I was 3, I would see and talk to spirits. Sachi is actually my taken name – it was the name of a “ghost” that lived in our house when I was 3-4 before we moved, and my parents would even see her manifest on the stairs in our home. I remember talking to her often and relaying messages to my parents from her. It was only about a year ago when I was doing deep regressive inner-child healing and revisiting my toddler self – that I realized the “ghost” was actually me now astrally projecting and “time traveling” through meditation. It was a really powerful moment to realize that me now was actually a “spirit guide” to my younger self in a way. Because my relationship with Sachi started my spiritual journey as my earliest memory of communicating with a “spirit”.
By age 6 I was making potions, creating alters, and doing rituals. By age 7 I was holding seances at recess, and I went to a Catholic school so that got shut down quickly because many angry parents had called the school and complained about what I was doing. And over the years of Catholic education and general societal pressure, I stopped using my gifts as often and focusing on becoming the best student I could be. I did what my family and societal pressure wanted me to do – I became a woman in STEM. And I did so incredibly well – I had great grades and was extremely productive. Science was put forth as the only credible way to explore our world, and I was determined to do just that: figure out what it means to be human and unlock the secrets of the universe. Part of my attraction to science was to understand through data and empirical study how energy works and delve deeper into various phenomena – specifically how energy influences biology.
All of this, only to realize that academia and the sciences are really far behind in sort of “putting it all together” – because even with everything we knew at the time about quantum mechanics, neuroplasticity, and biofeedback that was basically affirming life is a magic holographic multiverse that our intent collapses into a universe…the science world really ignored these things to teach a basic, repeated, cookie-cutter way of thinking. Even the cutting-edge science on consciousness and neuroscience that I read in my own time was excluded from the curriculum – and any time I would mention these studies in class I was shut down or told it was pseudoscience. So that really crushed me for a while.
Still, I pursued my career in the sciences only to find it soul-sickeningly repetitive and lacking any personal fulfillment or inspiration. And it certainly was not helping me unravel the mysteries of the universe. I was very lost spiritually in a way since I was so far from the potential of my gifts and my life purpose. I ended up in a “Dark Night of the Soul” that lasted 5 years where I faced the reality that I didn’t like my life, my job, the people I surrounded myself with – and I did a complete 180° and went through a major death and rebirth, promising to never betray myself again. During that 5 year period, I was given so much spiritual knowledge from the void. Once I came back to the Light, I knew I was ready to help others with my gifts and the wealth of knowledge I obtained spiritually and scientifically.
So that 180° was actually part of a 360° change coming full circle- becoming a spiritual mentor was actually returning to myself – my authenticity that I remembered when I was a child but forgot along the way.
You’re also a Pokémon card reader. Can you tell us more about Pokémon card reading?
Not only am I a Pokémon card reader – I am one of the two co-creators of this methodology of divination! My partner Zubida (her handle is @FaeBeeDragon) and I independently created this form of divination in 2018 and shortly after met online through the Pokémon community as the only two Pokémon readers! We became each other’s readers and eventually met in person and became partners.
The divine can send us messages through anything – animals, flowers, numbers, cards – and Pokémon is no exception. I consider myself to be a Pokémon Master and Pokémon has always been something important in my life. I was starting to create a Pokémon tarot deck when I realized I could actually just use Pokémon cards from my collection. And the rest is history!
Pokémon card reading is just like tarot or any other form of divination – it’s utilizing the data from the cards and relaying the messages. I have found that reading Pokémon cards is much more detailed than Tarot since the cards are much more rich in data. We have developed a specific methodology of reading Pokémon cards that takes into consideration the data on the card such as Pokémon type, the card art, Pokémon name, the name of the attacks, Pokédex description, and number sequences. I can relay tons of information in a reading that is easily digestible and hits on such a broad spectrum of topics- to a level of detail that tarot simply cannot. And all of this data is easy for clients to see and read for themselves – so it’s not just based on what I am feeling from the reading: it’s all there in the card.
Pokémon card reading is also a less intimidating introduction into divination because – hey – who doesn’t love Pokémon? It tends to attract more open minds than tarot would, and also helps people connect to their inner child which is always a good thing! I will also mention in my readings I use Pokémon Cards, Tarot, and Oracle cards to get a comprehensive view of the situation I am reading or channeling.
What other services do you offer and how do you customize them for individual clients?
I offer a plethora of Astrological services! Most of which are “chart hacking” services. I see astrological charts as code and help my clients “hack” their chart to obtain their desired outcome. And quite like 1-on-1 mentorship, this looks different for everyone since everyone has different goals. My main astrological services are 3 or 5 Question Analysis – where a client can ask anything they want – so they’re customized based on client intent. I also offer a Total Chart Analysis which is an 8-part video series. In this service, I go into lengths talking about and decoding a client’s Sun, Moon, Rising, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, North Node, and South anode – and give details about what these data points mean in the chart and how to “hack” these data points based on their sign, House, and aspects to other planetary placements.
I also have various astrological specials that I offer from time to time – like right now I’m offering a “Big Three Special” which is a look into one’s Sun, Moon, and Rising. It includes an analysis of the sign, House, and Lunar Mansion of the “big three” plus how to hack these data points for general personal development.
Do you have any special messages for our readers?
Yes. First, remember that you are a child of the divine and Unconditionally Loved. No matter what, always remember this, and try to love yourself unconditionally as an expression of the divine. You are meant to share your unique Light with the world and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
Second, I am a True Sky Astrologist. So I use data from the real solar system for astrological calculations and I highly recommend that you do too. The highest vibrational astrology connects us to nature and our celestial siblings in the heavens above. Mainstream astrology AKA the tropical algorithm is a matrix program that has absolutely nothing to do with the reality of our solar system, as it is a mathematical imperfection that puts an old ecliptic (about 2000 years ago) on repeat. It pretends the solar system behaves/moves the same way as it did then, which is false, and keeps the collective stuck in a dystopian timeloop. And as a scientist, I must bring awareness to the collective about this. For example, today the day of this interview on April 28th, 2023 you will see most astrology apps, websites, and accounts talking about how Pluto just moved into Aquarius recently. But if you look at the sky for yourself you can see that Pluto is actually in a void space between Sagittarius and Capricornus.
While a collective lie is still a truth in some ways, there is no denying the reality of our real solar system. You will be surprised how your timeline shifts when you begin to use the real solar system in Astrology. I recommend beginning to tune into the real sky and getting a sky app like SkySafari or Night Sky to begin to see this for yourself. And I recommend using these apps to look at the sky when you were born to see your REAL placements. Where really was the sun? The moon? Etc. You may be surprised that this is different than what mainstream astrology tells you. And I am here to inform you that connecting to your organic celestial placements will shift your reality in beautiful ways that will help you become the best version of yourself. It will require an ego death and rebirth to accept a new sense of self through our real solar system, but I am here to help anyone who needs a guide through this process.
