In our latest interview, Rosemary Heenan reveals how an unexpected encounter with hand analysis transformed her career from early childhood education to a unique path of spiritual coaching. Join MysticMag as we delve into the profound insights and validations found within our fingerprints and how her unusual journey began.
What were your professional beginnings like and how did you get into this line of work?
Did you know that your life, or soul purpose can be found in your hands? It’s true! Let me tell you a little about this and what led me to this unusual line of work.
In university, I became fascinated with social sciences; learning about people, what makes us tick, how to get along with others, work together and be in relationships with one another. I went on to study and then become a college professor of Early Childhood Education for over 30 years. The part of my job I loved the most was my relationships with my students. I loved supporting them in growing into their professional role and I also loved helping them with personal and academic problems.
In 2002, I studied and certified as a Life Coach and while I wanted to work with clients, teaching is a demanding profession and I didn’t have the time to focus on developing a business. Then in 2007 I attended a webinar with a hand analyst. She told us that if we had our hands analyzed, we would know what kind of people it would be best to focus on for marketing our coaching. I had my reading in March 2007 and it changed my life dramatically. I could not believe this complete stranger could tell me so much about myself purely through analyzing my hand and finger prints.
What stood out the most was when she said my life purpose was what she called a “Healer” or master communicator. I felt that my heart calling me to do coaching was validated by that reading and I made plans to retire the following year and pursue that dream. Around the same time, the hand analyst sold a home study program to learn hand analysis and I bought that and began to learn how to read fingerprints and hands.
Sixteen years later I can share that of the hundreds of hands I have read, almost 100% of people resonate with their Life Purpose the same way I did. What your fingerprints tell you validates you at your core.
Let’s look at the three elements of a Life Purpose Reading – the Life School, Life Lesson, and Life Purpose. To understand how each of these affects you, Ronelle Coburn created this analogy.
If you were a swimmer, the “School” is the body of water you swim in. The “Lesson” is the leg that won’t kick right. The “Purpose” is the stroke you like to use.
Can you tell me more about The Life School?
The Life School is your spiritual foundation here on earth. It is a training program designed to teach the skills you will need to fulfill your life purpose.
Any skill requires you to go through a learning curve before you can execute it perfectly/properly/effectively.
Life School experiences give us not only our greatest challenges but also our greatest rewards. Everyone experiences all of these schools in some way; however, we major in one or more.
Just like a swimmer can swim in several different bodies of water – a backyard pool, a lake, an ocean or a stream, you can be in one or more of the four schools. Service is the school of spirit. Love is the school of the heart. Wisdom is the school of the mind. Peace is the school of the body.
We bring the flavour of the school and the skills we learn in our school to our purpose. As a Healer in the School of Love, I will bring a different element to my work than a Healer in the School of Peace or Service or Wisdom might.
And what about the second element, Life Purpose?
Life Purpose is your reason for be-ing. It is both who you are and what you do. You can bring the essence of who you are into anything you do.
Life Purpose is an ongoing organic process and not a final product, or place you arrive at. When you choose to live your purpose, you will be developing and evolving throughout your life.
For the most part, when you are being your Life Purpose and doing Life Purpose activities you feel turned on, lit up and energized. That isn’t always the case as developing into our Life Purpose does include challenges and frustrations, but in the main, you will feel in a magical zone when you’re being who you came here to be.
You can still be “successful” if you do not live your Life Purpose. Personality traits can make you skillful; however, those skills may not be your purpose. It is possible to excel in your career because you are good at doing certain things, however, you may feel bored, and stagnant, and find your job to lack meaning. If you have all the trappings of success and still feel your life is lacking meaning or passion you may be working at something your personality can do, but your purpose lies elsewhere.
What is the meaning of a “Life Lesson” and what role does it play in your work?
Richard Unger, the creator of Life Purpose Analysis, calls the life lesson our “blindest, blind spot”. It is the shadow of your Life Purpose and you cannot fulfill your purpose without integrating and accepting your lesson.
It’s called the Life Lesson for a good reason as you will have many chances to experience it throughout your lifetime. It is the most common challenge/theme that has played out in your life.
Knowing your “Life Lesson” is a key to your success. Most people want to deny their weaknesses. To be successful you need to bring your weaknesses into the light where you can work with them. As long as you remain unaware of your lesson, you will be unconsciously sabotaging yourself. When you know your lesson you are empowered. You are more likely to catch yourself when you are in it and keep the lesson from stopping you living your purpose.
Knowing our lesson allows us to become more understanding and compassionate toward ourselves.
Your school, purpose, and lesson are all found in your fingerprints and would be revealed in a Life Purpose Reading. The fingerprints are formed in the womb and never change throughout your life. The rest of your hand is a map of your personality. You influence the shape of your hand, its lines, and sections sizes by how you predominantly think and feel and act or don’t act. If you have any Gift Markers, those will be found primarily on your palm. A Hand Analysis Reading would uncover all of the above.
What is your favorite part of your profession?
To this day, my favourite part of my job is interacting with my clients, either through reading their hands or coaching them as they work on their intentions. I love to see people grow more in self-love and develop their skills and talents so that their lives are more fulfilled. I support them through the process and encourage them when things may seem a little tough. There’s a saying in the coaching world that no one gets to the Olympics without the support of an excellent coach. Well, isn’t life kind of everyone’s Olympics? We all can use the support of someone who will cheer us on, teach us skills, and help us maneuver the rough spots.
