Rob, how do you integrate Emotional Intelligence with energy healing modalities in your life coaching sessions, and what benefits have you observed from this combination?
When I was in college, one of my professors made a profound statement that resonated deeply with me. She explained that we are all the sum culmination of our experiences and the ways we have learned to cope with them. This insight prompted me to reflect on why we respond to situations in certain ways and what underlying factors influence our reactions.
Dr. Usui’s work in Reiki revealed that even after healing, he has stated in his work that some people would revert to old patterns and bring back past issues. I began to notice similar tendencies. I observed that individuals often relied on familiar tools and techniques to cope with setbacks, which would reintroduce the same energy frequencies that held them back.
We all create limiting beliefs about what we can tolerate, how we should act, and what our responses should be. These beliefs, along with their associated energies and frequencies, are not only harbored in our minds but also in our hearts and bodies. Energy work, therefore, involves delving into these frequencies, clearing out the chakras, meridian lines, and addressing these underlying energies.
Integrating emotional intelligence into this process is crucial. Understanding why we seek certain outcomes and recognizing our habitual responses helps prevent us from falling back into unhealed states. This combination of energy work and emotional intelligence fosters true healing and growth.
How do you incorporate teachings from different energy healing modalities, such as Reiki, Theta Healing, and Access Bars, integrated Energy, Heart math and being a psychic and mediums into a cohesive program for your clients, and what unique benefits does this integrative approach offer?
Knowledge is a powerful tool. Understanding how people respond differently to various stimuli allows us to dive deeper into the core issues they face. In my work with energy, I integrate various modalities, each offering unique insights and techniques. For instance, uses Integrated Energy Therapy (IET), shares similar beliefs with Louise Hay’s concepts, aligning with understanding where emotions are stored, whether masculine or feminine and the location and symptoms in the body.
By combining these diverse techniques, I can fine-tune my approach. Access Bars, for example, focuses on releasing energy from a mental state, addressing aspects like control, creativity, and sexuality. It’s different from Reiki, which involves channeling energy through the healer into the client. Access Bars uses clearing statements, akin to impact statements in counseling, to release mental blockages. Changing an individual’s responses to events, so as not to get triggered by different circumstances. I had a client once say that after having their bars run 4 times her kids came to her and said What have you done with mom? She asked them why and they responded we have always known how to push your buttons to get what we want and they are not working anymore. They then asked again what happened and she simply said “Well I moved my buttons” and walked off.
This is just how powerful just one of these modalities can be. Now imagine moving in and out of many modalities with someone that has the knowing which one is going to work for you the best and the fastest. This is what I do!
Theta Healing serves as a bridge in my practice, combining energy work with counseling Techniques as well as psychic and mediumship. It aims to identify and remove the root causes of issues, much like pulling out the foundational block in a stack, allowing subsequent layers to collapse and be cleared away.
I also incorporate HeartMath, recognizing that the heart communicates with the mind far more frequently than the reverse. This understanding is crucial in aligning with the law of attraction, as our heart’s electromagnetic field is significantly more potent than that of our brain. Emotions like hurt and betrayal can disrupt the frequencies we emit and receive, affecting our ability to attract positive outcomes.
Access Bars, a fascinating modality, involves 16 positions and 32 points on the head, each associated with different aspects of our lives. By stimulating these points, we can bring up and release buried issues, leading to a rebalancing of the mind. This approach often results in a physical response, further validating the connection between mind and body.
Incorporating these techniques, from Reiki to Theta Healing, Access Bars, HeartMath, and all the others allows me to address issues holistically. By understanding and working with the underlying energies and emotional intelligence, I help clients achieve profound and lasting healing.
How do you tailor your services to meet the unique needs of each client, and what process do you follow to ensure a personalized healing experience?
In the beginning, I approached learning different protocols with a structured mindset, meticulously following roadmaps and guidelines. However, I soon realized that everyone wants to feel accepted, heard, and loved. This understanding led me to blend my experiences and techniques more intuitively. I once had a client describe me as someone you could sit next to in a pub and have a deep conversation without even realizing the transformative work happening.
During sessions, I engage in conversations that feel natural and effortless, creating a space where clients feel comfortable opening up. This allows us to dive deeper without resistance, enabling me to subtly integrate various tools and modalities to facilitate healing. Understanding the underlying reasons for behaviors and releasing them energetically helps clients make meaningful changes.
The duration of the healing process varies. Miracles can happen in seconds or minutes, but profound transformation might take longer, depending on whether the issue is acute or chronic. Using the analogy of an inverted Christmas tree built on blocks, I assess how many programs have been layered on the root issue and how open the client is to addressing it. Some clients experience quick results, while others may benefit from my “Your Path, Your Journey” five-week challenge, which helps uncover and address deeper issues.
I also explore factors such as past life influences, DNA, and upbringing (learned behavior) to understand how behaviors were formed and how they serve the client. I often ask clients to consider how their patterns are working for them, as repetitive behaviors typically fulfill some need. While therapists and counselors might focus on peeling away layers, my approach is forward-looking, aiming to navigate and resolve issues energetically. By teaching tools and techniques within life coaching, I ensure clients don’t revert to old patterns, fostering lasting change. When people use my new tools and techniques it empowers them to make continuous changes in their life so they can feel proud and confident in taking control over their lives, action and direction. It is like teaching someone how to move from driving a car to drive a Ferrari on the high speed track of life.
What role does Martial Arts training play in your energy healing practice, and how do the principles of martial arts enhance your work as a healer and life coach?
Learning Martial Arts has significantly taught me how to build and harness my chi, my prana – essentially, that core life energy emanating from the sacral chakra. This vital energy is something we can cultivate and utilize. Ancient healing techniques often involved practitioners using their chi to heal others, effectively dispersing their own life force energy.
When I teach energy healing, especially to empaths, I emphasize the importance of not depleting their own energy. Reiki, for instance, utilizes universal life force energy rather than the healer’s personal chi, preventing exhaustion and potential illness. Initially, I used to channel this energy to perform physical feats, like breaking cinder blocks, but I soon learned to redirect it towards healing others.
Integrating chi with Reiki creates a unique balance. Understanding and sensing my own energy allows me to feel deeply into others and offer a healing perspective that combines the strengths of both chi and Reiki. This approach not only enhances the healing process but also ensures that I maintain my own energy levels.
How do you help clients change their thoughts and perceptions to create a new reality, and what techniques do you find most effective in facilitating this mental and emotional shift?
As an energy psychology practitioner, I integrate various tools and techniques to help individuals understand and manage their energies and emotions. Energy psychology, recognized by the American Psychological Association (APA), encompasses methods like Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also incorporate Access Bars and a technique I developed called Mind-Heart-Body
Cohesion.
In my practice, I guide people to recognize and understand their own energy and frequencies. I teach them how to notice shifts within their bodies and identify whether an issue originates from the heart, mind, or body. This process empowers them to take control of their healing journey.
Mind-Heart-Body Cohesion involves moving people through different states of awareness and resonance. For example, the heart can be seen in four quadrants: when something feels heavy, it weighs on the heart, while unconditional love raises its frequency. I help individuals feel these shifts in their energy and physical sensations, teaching them to move from lower, heavier frequencies to higher, lighter ones. This transformation allows them to reframe their perspectives and experiences.
For instance, I once worked with an older gentleman who had a traumatic memory of his father, a perfectionist who often yelled at his employees. This left my client as a child in fear of doing anything wrong or even making a mistake. These memories caused him significant fear and anxiety. By teaching him how to move back into the memory through a higher heart quadrant, he found within his own experience that his father would take time to teach him and not yell at him. He saw that his own fear in the moment had him perceive everything as yelling and not being good enough. The process of maintaining a high frequency while revisiting the low-frequency memory helped him gain a new perspective. We then spent time on learning how even though he was fearful as a child himself, he used these experiences to raise himself to the top of his career and profession. This shift in perception allowed him to see his father’s actions and his own in a new better light, transforming his understanding and healing his past trauma. Moving himself into being able to better understand what drives him and giving him more balance and control over
his life.
