As a professional Psychic Medium with Celtic ancestry, how has your heritage influenced your approach to psychic mediumship and spiritualism? Can you share any significant experiences that connect you to your ancestral roots during your readings?
My father’s roots trace back to Wales, enriched by Scottish heritage, while my mother embodies an English lineage with hints of Irish and Spanish influence. Amongst my family, clairvoyant and intuitive talents seem to flow naturally, evident in my grandmother, mother, and several aunties. As a child, I eagerly peered into the tea leaves at the base of my cup, curious about the glimpses they offered into my future, often seeking insights from my grandmothers. I witnessed these remarkable women offer guidance and support to friends and family over the years. Whenever I turned to them with a problem, a gut feeling or crystal-clear clarity was always present.
During a meditation, my grandmother in the spirit world revealed the existence of the Arthur Findlay College in the UK—a place unknown to me until that moment. Upon confirming its existence through online research, I felt a deep urge to heed her advice. She insisted that I attend the school, warning that I would regret not doing so for the rest of my life. And so, I embarked on a journey, quietly telling my family I was off to study horticulture in England for a week. Instead, I found myself at this renowned spiritual institution, renowned for its 80-year history of teaching mediumship and metaphysics.
While there, my late grandfather appeared to me in another meditation. His presence was vivid; his words affirmed that he and others were pleased I had followed their guidance. That transformative week not only solidified my path as a medium but also introduced me to the love of my life—a connection that has thrived for a decade, now blessed with three wonderful children.
My subsequent travels to Wales and Scotland brought me face-to-face with extended family members, igniting a profound sense of connection to my ancestral roots. Each visit reinforces my bond with the past and family heritage. United with the knowledge that my Celtic ancestors in the spirit realm directed me toward my spiritual path and the service of others, I am deeply compelled to honor and celebrate my Celtic lineage.
How did receiving the CSNU in Speaking, Demonstrating, and Teaching Demonstrating Mediumship impact your work and how do you use your platform to inspire and teach others about psychic mediumship?
Being honored with the Certificate of the Spiritual National Union in speaking, demonstrating, and teaching mediumship has profoundly shaped my spiritual journey. This achievement has elevated the caliber and substance of the evidence I present, providing a structured framework for communication on behalf of the spirit world. It has equipped me with the ability to present professionally as a spirit communicator in public settings. Through the teachings of spiritualism, including works by Silver Birch and Ramadhan, and an understanding of the 7 Principles of Spiritualism, I have gained spiritual insights and truths that guide my practice.
This certification has empowered me to effectively engage with diverse individuals during readings, delivering evidential messages and distinguishing proof of evidence from conjecture. I have not only refined my own mediumship but also extended this knowledge to others, contributing to the advancement and ethical practice of mediumship in contemporary times.
Obtaining these credentials has been a formidable journey, spanning a decade of dedicated study and practice in England. The CSNU award encompasses multiple tiers of accomplishment, requiring 25 witnessed and endorsed public mediumship demonstrations across three courses. It entailed an extensive exploration of spiritualism’s history, its pioneers, and teachings, coupled with comprehensive essays on these subjects. In-depth knowledge of the SNU as both a religion and an organization was also vital. The pinnacle assessment entailed presenting a philosophical discourse and mediumship demonstration before a public audience, with a stringent standard of proof, affirming the authenticity of communication with spirit.
The Teaching level of CSNU, a subsequent endeavour, demanded the creation of educational classes over two years. These classes encompassed philosophy and mediumship, comprising tutorials, lectures, and workshops. This journey required meticulous planning, precise execution, and in-depth presentation to assessors and a live audience. A rigorous interview process ensued, assessing my aptitude for teaching, mechanics of mediumship, and the philosophy of spiritualism.
Throughout this transformative process, the significance of evidential mediumship and the dissemination of spiritual truths resonated deeply. Your book “How to Talk To The Dead in 10 Easy Steps” and your Psychic Mediumship Training Cards have received acclaim. What inspired you to create these resources, and how do they help individuals tap into their own psychic abilities and connect with spirit?
I am truly fortunate to have an incredible fiancé who shares my passion for spirituality and serving others. When we came together, our shared desire was to make a positive impact and assist as many people as we could during our lifetime. However, as we delved into the realm of mediumship and witnessed various teaching methods, I encountered a myriad of conflicting approaches and techniques that left me bewildered and unsure about my own development. Some instructors asserted their way was the only way, leading to confusion and doubts. Despite encountering discouragement from some who believed mediumship was reserved for a select few, I persevered through dedicated practice and training, realizing that my unique essence was a key to unlocking my potential.
This realization illuminated that two mediums discussing the same spirit communicator would never convey identical information or evidence. Our diverse perceptions and ability to connect information from the world around us shape the boundaries of our mediumship. This journey underscored the fact that while I could not replicate someone else’s path, I could embark on my own journey of learning. Motivated by this understanding, my partner Brisa and I embarked on a collaborative endeavour to create a book and a set of cards. Our intention was to inspire individuals, debunk the myth that mediumship is a rare gift, and demonstrate that psychic abilities are inherent in all of us. While not everyone is a medium, mediumship can be cultivated and honed over a lifetime.
I am a living testament to this truth, as I gradually improved my mediumship skills through dedicated learning and development. The evolution of the past, present, potential oracle deck cards spans over a decade, shaped by my interactions with clients and their emotional responses to their life situations encompassing mind, body, and soul aspects. The concept for these cards originated during a three-hour drive with my partner, a past life therapist. Inspired by the needs and desires of countless clients we had worked with, the cards serve as a reflection of the outcomes and guidance sought after many sessions. They embody insights gleaned from personal conversations and experiences shared by the people I’ve had the privilege to assist, fostering a profound sense of connection and inspiration.
In practice, these cards offer a comprehensive perspective by delving into the past to illuminate self-discovery, the present moment with imagery and words that resonate, and the potential future that hinges on personal responsibility and action.
