Rev. Charlene, you’ve had a remarkable career, providing accurate readings for individuals and even assisting in criminal cases. Can you share how your journey began, and what motivated you to use your gifts in forecasting for Fortune 500 Companies and helping individuals gain insights into their lives?
In 1971, my mother began to teach me astrology. I was first taught how to read from the ephemeris. With this knowledge I could look up the birthdates of individuals and decipher the glyphs that describe a person’s life story. There is true power in understanding the planetary aspects of an individual’s birth chart. By the time I turned eighteen, I had read all available astrological books and wanted to know more.
I looked for a professional Astrologer and found one who lived a few miles away as I did not drive. He did not have any classes at the time but said he could tutor me privately for $10 per hour. I signed up for weekly classes for two hours every Wednesday to learn how to set up a chart correctly. Math was not my favorite subject and to set up a chart requires exact calculations. After four months of tutoring, I joined a regular class for intermediate and a year later an advanced astrology class. My teacher told me to sign up and take the Astrological examination at city hall which was offered once a year in November. I took the seven-hour exam in 1979 and did not pass. I had to wait an entire year to take the test again but this time I passed it and became the youngest in the state of Georgia to be certified as a professional Astrologer by the city of Atlanta at the age of twenty.
I worked at two monthly psychic fairs to hone my skills giving Astrological and psychic readings. In1983, I was certified as a Master Hypnotist. From 1987-1997, I began training at Camp Chesterfield in Indiana where I received four certifications in the following areas: clairvoyance, associate minister, healer, and full ordination as a spiritualist minister. During those years I was heard on more than 300 radio stations throughout the US and Canada giving live readings on air. I was also a columnist writing horoscopes and making predictions for newspapers and magazines.
My work for Fortune 500 Companies began in 1986 when a hairdresser asked me to read for one of his clients. I knew she was wealthy but did not know anything else until after the session. Turns out she was the richest woman in America at the time and owned a Fortune 500 company. Many of my clients are owners of Fortune 500 companies. I have helped many companies make better choices by giving correct dates years in advance of when they would sell the company or trade before they knew they would. The chart is accurate in forecasting dates and events years in advance for businesses as well as individuals who seek out my advice as I record it and send it to their emails. Many of my clients have kept cassette tapes from 1986. They can review their session and those events forecasted have happened. Currently I use a digital recorder and email the session to the client as I document my work.
Your sessions are known for inspiring positive changes in clients’ lives, with many experiencing major transformations within six weeks. Could you elaborate on the astrological aspects of your readings and how they contribute to unlocking latent potential and guiding individuals toward positive life changes?
The Astrological part of a session describes the soul’s journey here on earth as the natal chart is the blueprint describing the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical qualities. The birth chart shows when you figure out your life’s purpose early or late in life. It shows the talents you were born with and the time frame in which you will tap into these abilities. The chart shows how many times you will marry, change residences, change professions as well as changes in health.
There are other astrological charts which forecast future events showing if you will move out of the country. As far as mediumship and clairvoyant sessions I have helped many with those who have crossed over. An example would be a woman in her early thirties who came in for a session. Her chart showed she was raised by her grandparents. I told her her grandfather was here along with Ricky – who you did not sign his name on the folded sheet of paper. He has come today to tell you how much he loves you and was sorry he did not get to say goodbye. He told me he was about twenty when he was hit head on by a truck and was killed on his way back home. He grew up with you at your grandparents’ house as he was your cousin. He tells me he used to play hide and seek with you and jumped out of a tall tree behind you one day and almost broke his leg. He loved sitting at the breakfast table with you eating cornflakes before the two of you caught the school bus in the morning. She went through a whole box of Kleenex crying as she had no idea that Ricky would come in. He wanted to surprise her, and this was his moment. Then her grandfather came in and she was glad they showed up.
Your predictions about events like the Nova Scotia shooting and the tsunami hitting Japan are truly remarkable. How do you tap into your intuitive abilities to foresee such events, and what role do you believe intuition plays in providing valuable insights to individuals and society at large?
The saying: “To be forewarned is to be forearmed” is true. My tagline is “knowing events in advance is the perfect way to secure a brighter future for yourself.” I have been hearing from the spirit world and seeing things since I was seven years old. I predicted Atlanta would host the Olympics in June of 1990 in an article for The Business Forum Newspaper showing astrologically why we would. It was officially announced on September 18,1990.
In 1989, I helped the GBI locate Julie Love’s body who had been missing for a year by describing where and when her body would be found. In the summer of 2004, I helped the Stockbridge Fire department locate a man’s body in Lake Spivey, when seven divers diving for fourteen consecutive days could not. For me, it is like remote viewing. Messages come to me through the missing people and they show me where to go. I have also worked on various haunted houses describing the former residents and what occurred in those locations.
You’ve been involved in various cases, including missing persons and murder investigations. How do you approach such challenging situations, and what impact do your insights have on the investigative process?
It is a process that is known as remote viewing. I will meditate on the name of the person or event. If someone comes in person, I ask them to write down the names and questions on one sheet of paper and fold it up. They can write it in a foreign language, and I will still get the answer as spirit is telling me what I need to know. I close my eyes and place it on my forehead and begin by saying: The Lord’s Prayer. The doorway opens and the information starts coming in.
Would you describe your ‘skills’ and ‘attributes’ as a blessing?
Yes, it is a blessing as well as a commitment that I made when I became an ordained spiritualist minister in 1997. To help others and to promote the teachings of spiritualism. There are times when I have seen things which are very disturbing, but it is a part of being a psychic. My spiritual guides have always made me aware of things that I need to know. Everyone is born with different spiritual gifts. Jesus said: “All these things which I have done, ye shall do also.”
To achieve them one must align themselves with others of like consciousness and study. Leonardo Da Vinci and Michaelangelo were great painters and sculptors. They went to school and had teachers. To achieve greater awareness requires education and training. They were born with unique gifts, but they went to school to train with the best. I am still taking classes and learning more. To advance spiritually requires a commitment to the spirit world. To reach this understanding requires daily meditation. When we pray to God we are asking for help. When we meditate, we receive guidance. Meditation is the bridge to the higher realms and the key to mankind’s illumination.
