As a mother of four and grandmother to two, she balances her professional endeavors with her family life on Spring Meadow Farm in rural New Jersey. In November 2023, Renae faced a life-altering experience when she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune encephalitis. Despite the ordeal, her husband’s unwavering support and the collective efforts of family, friends, and clients brought her back. This profound experience has only strengthened her resolve to complete her work through the Conscious Design® Institute, uniting people in harmony and creating spaces that promote well-being and balance. What can you tell me about your professional journey and what led you to found the Conscious Design® Institute?
I believe we are all on a journey and that we come into this world with gift and purpose. Professionally, all of my work has had an overriding theme of the environment and its ability to guide and shift the human experience. The Conscious Design® Institute is the culmination of all of my work and studies: my legacy. It is a place of learning and community. I am a master level Feng Shui and Conscious Design® consultant and teacher with a wide spectrum of clients and students. From the NBA to children’s classrooms, I have always brought my passion and assistance to others to facilitate massive shifts in their lives through the power of their space.I am a former Executive Marketing Director of the International Feng Shui Guild and Executive Board Member of the AHA, Association of Higher Awareness, as well as a member of many other organizations. I am the visionary and host of several successful Feng Shui conferences, including the International Feng Shui 2004 Conference held in Morristown, N.J. in 2004 and The International Conscious Design® Conference in 2007. I hosted the first “ Feng Shui Fashion Show”.
I am the author of the Tao of Bedrooms and Lessons from the Cave, and the founder of Primal Feng Shui. I have appeared on radio and television and lectured globally in order to share my insight on the power of Conscious Design®. Yes, your space does affect you!
I am an active New Jersey Real Estate Agent and specialize in Feng Shui for home and commercial sales. I offer CEU classes in Real Estate, introducing Conscious Design® and Feng Shui knowledge to realtors. Furthermore, I would also like to highlight my spiritual lineage – my Greek grandmother showed me the power of ceremony. Today, I am an ordained minister and I work in depth with spiritual ceremonies and space clearings. Building ceremonies, Ground Breaking ceremonies, home blessings, land blessings: all have a part of our inherited practices.
All of these experiences and accomplishments have been brought together to form the Conscious Design® Institute and the idea of Conscious Design®.
What is the Concept of Conscious Design®?
It’s very simple: our spaces affect us. Conscious Design® teaches us to see our space as a reflection and expression of our lives.
It is not just about Feng Shui. Conscious Design® is the integrated concept that redefines the way we look at our spaces. We are learning that we are connected: to the Earth, to each other, and to the places we live and work. The Conscious Design® strategy incorporates Feng Shui, Sacred Geometry, Green Design, Space Clearing, Astrology, and other healthy, holistic concepts for empowerment in our buildings, landscapes, interior spaces, and our communities.
What classes do you offer and what can people hope to learn from them?
We offer a variety of solution-based classes. What can be reflected in a space? Financial health, Physical & Mental Health, Relationship health? We offer real core solutions and strategies to facilitate positive change.
Classes such as Unblocking Prosperity, Your Home is Your Vision Board, Feng Shui Foundations, Sacred Geometry, Valuable Feng Shui Principles in Real Estate Today, Wealth & the Workplace, Color Principle, and much more.
Our courses also bring the Conscious Design® Concept into the professional fields of Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Redesign, Real Estate, and Real Estate Staging: all that make decisions involving the responsibility of creating and recreating space.
It is an expansive educational opportunity for Contractors, Builders, Landscape Designers, City Planners, and Business Leaders that are making decisions regarding land, the environment, homes, schools, hospitals, neighborhoods, and cities.
For example, an Architect trained in Conscious Design® concepts will mold his/her design with consideration of these strategic empowered concepts that will create not only a beautiful building, but one that enhances the earth and uplifts the quality of life for all people in and around that building and space.
What are your seminars like?
We will be focused on online-interactive seminars at this time. Our seminars and certification programs are modeled to work with your busy schedule. The Institute is undergoing a massive uplift. Just as I have experienced a new gift of life, so is the Conscious Design® Institute. Our classes and courses continue to connect ancient wisdom with leading cutting-edge knowledge. We have created a non-profit Conscious Design® Foundation to create a community, support humanitarian projects, and sponsor programs and events.
We have added a Conscious Health & Wellness component that reinforces the intimate connection between our wellness to our environments.
