What is the story behind The Psychic Associates? How did you come together?
Jay: In 2019, I joined world-renowned medium James Van Praagh on a Canadian tour. Prior to our first show in Hamilton, Ontario, I sought the help of an organization to recruit volunteers due to the expected large audience. This is when I met Amber, who graciously hosted the event and left a lasting impression on me.
After our initial meeting, Amber and I decided to stay in touch and eventually planned a tour together. However, our plans were disrupted by the COVID pandemic, but our connection remained strong, prompting me to continue working with her. For years, I had envisioned a website that offered a comprehensive platform for psychics. When exploring this concept, I consistently found individual psychics offering courses, leading me to the idea of providing a multi-perspective platform featuring various psychic mediums.
Upon discussing this idea with Amber, we found ourselves aligned creatively, and she introduced me to a friend who shared our vision. This friend, Liz, and I connected on a radio program and discovered our shared passion for this concept. As a result, we came together to create courses and a website during the COVID pandemic, and our collaboration has flourished ever since. Today, our platform offers diverse perspectives on psychic mediumship, providing students with a valuable and unique learning experience.
What courses do you offer and what can people hope to learn from them?
Amber: Our initial goal was to assist spiritual entrepreneurs in establishing or expanding their psychic or healer businesses. We developed three business courses for this purpose.The first course, designed for beginners, focuses on building confidence as an entrepreneur. The intermediate course is centered on understanding and cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset. The advanced course aims to help individuals gain visibility in their business and marketing efforts through strategies such as interviews, events, and media communication.
While our primary focus was on business, we recognized the demand for learning from our experiences and decided to offer a psychic development course. This comprehensive course guides individuals through the process of honing their intuition and psychic abilities, drawing from our own journey and insights. All our courses are led by all three of us, providing diverse perspectives on each topic.
We have also introduced mini-courses for those seeking condensed knowledge, including Exploring Clair Senses, How to Connect with Your Spiritual Team, and Exploring Psychic Abilities & Tools of the Trade. Additionally, we are in the process of developing a mediumship course to address the distinction between psychic abilities and mediumship.
Our overarching business objective is to continually create courses that support individuals in understanding and nurturing their abilities, whether they are just starting out or looking to grow their entrepreneurial ventures. While the content is geared towards holistic and psychic businesses, it can also benefit other entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, we offer a complimentary quiz on our website that helps individuals identify their psychic abilities, whether they are psychic, medium, healer, or empath. Our ultimate focus is on empowering individuals to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and live more fulfilling lives. It’s important to note that all our courses are certificate programs, providing participants with a validation of their knowledge and completion of the curriculum.
All 3 of you offer coaching services. What may be some of the differences between your approaches and how can a person know who’d be the best fit for them?
Liz: We each bring unique personal and professional backgrounds, along with varied connections to different services in our past. Despite this, the three of us share similar yet distinct coaching approaches. We are all certified coaches, and the best way for someone to choose a mentor is to take one of our courses and see who they connect with the most.
Our courses allow you to engage with all three of us, and while you may resonate with each, there will likely be one who you resonate with the most. This is a common occurrence. Identify who you resonate with most, as they are the one who speaks your language and should be your choice for coaching services. I believe that each of us is aligned with the right clients and perfectly suited to meet their needs. It’s all about the vibe.
You also host a podcast. What topics does it cover?
Jay: We launched the Psychic Jam to attract individuals facing challenges in their businesses. As psychic mediums, we often lack a support system in this competitive field. Many hesitate to discuss their struggles and client issues, fearing it will expose their vulnerabilities.
This lack of support can be disheartening for new business owners facing problems with nowhere to turn. The Psychic Jam was conceived to provide a supportive space for gifted individuals hesitant to share or still exploring their abilities. We openly discuss the challenges of psychic work, acknowledging the difficult experiences to show solidarity. Simultaneously, we highlight the positive impact of our work on people’s emotional, physical, and mental well-being, providing closure for many.
We aim to assist those aspiring to enter this field or seeking to enhance their abilities for a better quality of life. Our content ranges from addressing intimidating topics that some psychics avoid or find embarrassing, to offering valuable tips and guidelines, empowering our audience to improve their lives.
Amber: We aim to support our community by providing a podcast that delivers free content and allows people to connect with us on a personal level. Our podcast is unscripted, showcasing our individual personalities and occasional humor.
Listeners can expect to witness our personal growth and differing perspectives on various topics. Our motivation stems from wanting to offer valuable information and assistance, as we have experienced similar challenges in the past. Our objective is to reach as many people as possible, including those who may be hesitant to openly explore their spirituality. Through the podcast, we hope to provide insight into who we are and help individuals determine if they resonate with our approach.
Can you share some memorable success stories?
Liz: We had one girl who came through our program, Sydney, who is just the epitome of a student on fire. This girl came in and did everything she was asked to do and followed the process to the letter. She has blown up the scene. She is everywhere and is just working her magic and spreading her incredible energy everywhere. It’s wonderful to watch her rise. I ended up getting to work with her last year on a project that we did together and what immediately struck me was her incredible ability to communicate her thoughts into words. It was just amazing.

Jay: I want to discuss a student I worked with who had taken multiple courses from various sources and was feeling lost. This individual had sought my services for readings and inquired if I knew of anyone else who could assist. After informing her about our business course, she expressed skepticism due to previous unsuccessful experiences. Upon reviewing our course, she decided to give it a chance and found it to be resonant. Subsequently, she requested a coaching session during which she expressed doubts about her readiness and her psychic abilities.
As we delved into her concerns, she revealed her struggle to comprehend certain feelings and visions, emphasizing the importance of self-trust in our line of work. She mentioned repeatedly seeing an image of a frog wearing a crown, prompting me to share a personal anecdote about a similar object I had recently acquired. Her astonishment at the validation of her vision marked a turning point for her, leading to a newfound understanding that the act of communication is more crucial than the specific content of the message in our field.
This revelation had a transformative impact on her life, and she is now prepared to embrace her abilities with confidence. Our coaching and courses are distinct and personalized, and our approach to coaching is collaborative. We initially coached together for a year before offering individual sessions, recognizing that different individuals resonate with different approaches. Witnessing individuals break through self-doubt and embrace their psychic abilities is immensely fulfilling, and we believe in the empowering nature of self-discovery in this domain.
