How did you discover your psychic gifts and how did your life change after that?
Psychic ability runs in my paternal line of the family. My Grandmother used to read Crystal and her Grandad was the last of the travellers who made their living reading cards. I purchased a set of tarot cards at the age of 19, so 30 years ago as I developed a keen interest in Spiritual matters from the age of 17. I chose a very non-traditional set of tarot cards and I was able to pick them up and simply roll with them. To me, they made sense from the beginning without any tuition or guidance from anyone else. I will say I have my own reading style the Tarots and I do not use any traditional spreads. My intuition and clairvoyance developed on their own just by reading the Tarot Cards intuitively and in my own way. I started, like many do, by reading for friends and once I started getting good feedback and other people were asking me I went professional. I had decided early on that I didn’t want to explore the mediumship side of things and I was happy to stay away from “dead people”. However, at the age of 22 my development was at such a level that my mediumship kicked in and I was uncomfortable with it. I knew exactly what it was, but didn’t want it. I asked it to leave and within a year I had become more comfortable with the concept and invited the mediumship back into my life. I then started to incorporate mediumship into my readings. Then my readings became a mixture of Tarot, Clairvoyance and Mediumship.
I feel that my life change subtly in the beginning of my psychic realisation and it was a gentle adaption to the responsibility of having such gifts. I do believe that psychic awareness is a responsibility and it is down to you to use it respectfully for the good of other people in order to guide them and map out the choices that lie ahead of them. It is certainly a skill and gift to be respected rather than misused in any way.
What do your Psychic Parties look like?
I love doing Psychic Parties! I do my parties either in person or via Zoom if it isn’t practical to travel to a client.
I offer Private Sitting Parties where I read individually for 2 to 6 people in turn. For 2 people I offer them a choice of a 30-minute, 45-minute, or a 60-minute reading each and they don’t have to have the same. For 3 and 4 people, I offer 30 minutes each, and for 5 and 6 people I offer them 20 minutes each.
I also offer a Demonstration Party. This is where everyone sits in the same room like the lounge or round a table depending on the amount of people attending. I pick up snippets of information randomly about the guests and get around as many people as possible, giving clairvoyance and mediumship. Everyone attending needs to be comfortable with being read for in a public environment. This party can be particularly lovely for members of the same family wanting to hear from that special loved one in the world of spirit.
Both of these options can be done perfectly well in person or online via Zoom, as mentioned.
What’s the difference between Tarot cards and Angel cards and what information can you get through reading each?
The Angel Cards offer soft Angelic Guidances and Advices on what the Client needs to be doing at that given moment in time to move forward. When people are going through difficult life situations, often they lose way of the basics and the Angel Cards bring them back to the basics to who them what they need to do to focus on themselves and help them to gain strength to deal with their situation. All Angel Cards offer positive Guidances as negative guidance is obviously not helpful. Everything Angelic is always soft and subtle and Angelic energies are very healing and comforting. I find bringing say three Angel Cards into a sitting is particularly useful to back up the Tarots.
The Tarot Cards outline what is going on in situations and what is to come up. This also means emotionally, psychically and generally. Some of the Tarots aren’t overly positive because life isn’t always positive. The Tarot can really go into some depth about situations, people and feelings, emotions and influences. It is important that a Reader learns their own style of Reading with the Tarot as there is no skill in learning a book parrot-fashion. This is the author’s interpretation, not the Readers interpretation. If learnt intuitively, a Reader can develop their psychic skills to a high level.
Can you walk me through a Crystal Ball reading/session?
The Crystal Ball can really help a Reader to focus on their Clairvoyance/Mediumship and what their third eye is trying to say to them. Often the Tarot Cards can be quite bright and colourful with too much detail and it is good to focus on something else that has a pure energy. Therefore, I am likely to use the Crystal ball to deliver a purely clairvoyant or Mediumship Reading however, during a Tarot Reading I am likely to leave the cards behind to focus on the ball particularly when I feel Spirit want to come through or I want some Clairvoyant detail.
A Crystal Ball doesn’t have to be clear as nothing, as such, is seen in the ball, but in the mind’s eye/third eye. At the present time, I am using a selenite crystal ball which is an opaque white colour. I love this crystal because it is a soft crystal and I am drawn to crystal spheres that are not clear. I do have a range of crystal spheres that I use but always come back to the selenite ball.
What’s your favourite part about your profession?
My favourite part of my profession is being able to empower people to make their own decisions because they have had their options mapped out for them in a clear, unmuddled way. Sometimes you can really see and or feel the relief and weight go from clients’ shoulders after they have had a reading. They feel much more in control and able to see things clearer.
I enjoy being able to offer my Readings in a wide variety of different ways whether in person, via email or via a video calling option or telephone option. This enables me to read for clients all over the world. It is important to be flexible and diverse in my skills and services.
