Can you share a few details about yourself and your professional background with our readers?
I, Mētztli Xandra Wolf, am the psychic, evidential medium, and conjure witch behind all things Revolutionary Mystic. Revolutionary Mystic is my witchy non-profit organization, a global community of activist witches, and the name where I share my work across platforms on social media. I am also the founder of, and mama wolf at Black Moon Wolfdog Sanctuary. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, I now live with a pack of rescued wolfdogs and my partner Jackson, here in the Pacific Northwest. Living here in North East Washington, on a wolfdog sanctuary, I started, and getting to do my work as a psychic witch, is a dream come true.
As a practitioner, Hoodoo is part of my Black ancestral inheritance, as well as my inherently Indigenous ecocentric and animist approach to my work. As a Queer Black and Indigenous (Oglala + N’de) practitioner, I carry a social justice-informed lens that I use to heal and subvert colonialism. My spiritual work diverges from the mainstream because I practice at the intersection of activism, decolonial healing, and witchcraft. Often speaking uncomfortable truths, encouraging folks to create positive change, and live courageously.
I’ve been a psychic and medium my whole life, and I even started brewing potions out of foraged ingredients, hose water and a bucket when I was a child. My “official” professional journey began in 2012 after a near-death domestic violence experience on my 25th birthday. This traumatic experience was a catalyst for healing and me finally following my calling. Professionally my background is diverse; over a decade of social work, evolutionary astrology, evidential mediumship, psychic readings, virtual classes, paranormal investigation, and Hoodoo.
Since 2012, Revolutionary Mystic has become a global virtual community for ethical witches, a podcast mini-series, we’ve forged a wolfdog sanctuary, and provided mutual-aid for witches of color. I have also since made an appearance on a Bravo reality TV series, established a global clientele, and will soon be releasing my self-created Sacred Relatives Tarot deck, it debuts in Fall/Winter 2023. After which I hope to host our first spiritual retreat for witches at the sanctuary, author my first book, and turn our non-profit into a B corporation… an extensive process certifying the ethical and eco-centered practices of my business.
I also create ethical and eco-friendly spell products for my virtual Hoodoo Botánica. Part of my mission is in restoring our relationship with the natural world. By handcrafting high-quality non-toxic spell candles, cruelty-free conjure oils, therapeutic ritual baths, and more, my hope is that more people will consider the impact their witchcraft and spell ingredients have on the planet, as well as in their lives. I believe that the better the relationship we have with our magick ingredients, from cultivation to curation, use to disposal; the more powerful our magick becomes when we honor the planet while casting spells. It is, after all, where we get the means to do so from.
When and how did you discover your psychic gifts?
My earliest memories of my psychic gifts are mostly traumatic paranormal experiences, like seeing ghosts, shadow people, and sensing scary rooms or people to avoid, at the tender age of 5. But my family noticed my mediumistic abilities as early as when I began talking to ancestors from my crib as a toddler. They’d peek into the room and catch me having full conversations, giggling, and pointing at someone they couldn’t see with their naked eyes. Aside from their observation, the adults around me didn’t understand my abilities, much less know how to support or help me with my experiences. So I was on my own in that realm, no pun intended. Sometimes, if I was lucky, they’d let me sleep with the hall light on.
Like many psychic kids, I was labeled “sensitive” and “just scared of the dark”. Because psychic phenomena are still taboo in today’s society, I was often gaslighted, teased, or belittled for my sensitivity. Or sometimes, other kids feared me, thought I was “weird” and I was ostracized. Which caused me to repress and resent my gifts (which didn’t work so well) into my 20s. I had begun to fear and hide from my psychic abilities. Eventually switching from leaving the hall light on, to intuitively covering my head with a blanket to protect myself psychically. Later I found out that a very famous psychic slept with a beanie on to protect herself also. But the thing about being a medium is, your receptivity can get louder the more you try to bypass it. Mine definitely did.
Eventually, my roommates, lovers, and friends started noticing the paranormal and psychic phenomena that come with being around me too. I unintentionally finish people’s sentences or start saying what they were thinking. Spirit activity, poltergeist manifestations, and even instances of unexplainable events; like black ash appearing in the air and landing in my palm in front of housemates in my living room, or the evidence we witnessed that my first husband was possibly under the influence, oppression or possession of a demonic entity. It became harder to deny. I was already an “out” and practicing witch since the 6th grade, at that point, I had to come out as both a psychic and a medium.
There was no more hiding, so I began to feel “if I was born with these psychic abilities and an aptitude for them, maybe there’s a reason for that.” I watched every psychic show, read every psychic book, took every psychic class, got psychic readings from a variety of people, and studied with every sought-after psychic I had the opportunity to learn from. This process was transformative. Not only did I learn about my abilities, I began to understand myself, my unique needs, and my talents as a psychic. I began to heal. And what’s more, I loved it all! At a time when I needed self-love the most, I was able to finally love this about myself. I love being a psychic and medium, personally and professionally. There’s never a dull day in my life as a psychic, lots of opportunities to read for others who need help or healing, and I’ve even gotten to teach, guide, and support others with their psychic abilities. My journey as a psychic has come full circle.
You provide spiritual guidance to your clients. Can you elaborate on how the process works and what a person can hope to achieve through it?
I’ve been serving a global clientele over the past decade through remote psychic readings, virtual classes, new moon rituals, and content on social media platforms. What different types of readings do your offer?
My readings offerings vary depending on my availability: Psychic readings via phone/video call; where people get to connect with their spirit guides, receive guidance, clarity and release blocks.
In evidential mediumship individual sessions or group readings; I help the bereaved move through their grief by connecting with their beloved dead. And through my spirit communications, I relay specific information or evidence from the deceased to the living that I could not otherwise have known or researched. This allows them peace of mind, witnessing irrefutable evidence of the continuity of life is often profoundly healing for people grieving a loss. Knowing that their loved ones are still here, just in a different way, is powerful medicine.
During evolutionary astrology readings, I show you the intended evolution of your spirit by interpreting the cosmic relationships between the planets, asteroids, and energetic patterns within your natal chart. Allowing you to gain a deeper sense of self-knowing, life purpose, and autonomy. Rather than tell you your future, I share with you how to use the energetic signatures within your chart to co-create alongside destiny yourself.
Bone-throwing divination or Osteomancy readings are a great way to receive guidance from ancestors, you can see things from their perspective, get channeled advice or messages, and feel confident in navigating your path forward with their blessings.
On a case-by-case basis, I offer paranormal remediation and investigation services, remotely or in person. This includes anything from instructing you through how to do a house cleansing/blessing, how to protect yourself and your home spiritually, or verifying a paranormal presence in you suspect, helping you rid of unwanted entities, debunking poltergeist activity, demonic infestation, possession, and determining if more serious measures are necessary. I am also almost always willing to take on mediation between a parent or spirit and a psychic/medium child, I can help you support them and facilitate their safety as they navigate life, walking between two worlds with confidence and self-understanding.
What is Sacred Relatives Tarot?

You say that your values are sovereignty, solidarity, and equity. What do these values represent and mean to you?
Inclusion, sovereignty, solidarity, justice, and equity are the ethical spiritual values I practice that represent what I believe it takes to be a good ancestor and skillful spiritual practitioner. We live in revolutionary times, and witches of all walks have a cultural history as adversaries to oppression. I believe we are here at this coordinate of space and time to use our magic to create healing and hope for our ancestors of past, present, and generations to come. I use my magic to inspire revolutionaries and save our sacred relatives the wolves. Everyone, I believe, has a sacred part to play in the Age of Aquarius.
