How did you get into herbalism and what drew you to it?
I was born into the herbal way. I was born and raised in Poland so it was a completely normal thing to be around herbs. My family lived in the mountains and plants just grew outside. We always had herbs around. Whenever we were sick, there was always some kind of folk remedy ready to go.
However, we then moved to the US and I mostly forgot about that. Then, in my late 20s, I had some serious health issues, which guided me back into herb-based supplementation and herbalism in general. At first, I was doing lots of supplements and eventually ended up running an apothecary. That’s how I really started my herbal journey, by helping people with natural remedies and blending herbs for them.
Then, seven years ago, I moved to Arizona. I felt such powerful energy there as the land had called me in. Lore me into its mystical ways I could feel within my heart. After a few years of getting my energy healing and herbal training completed, I’ve started my full-time journey as “Herbal Goddess Healing”, turning my passion into everyday community-oriented services with herbal and healing work offerings.
What is the Seven Plant Spirit Sacred Journey?
Seven Plant Spirit Sacred Journey is a healing session with seven different herbs and energy coaching. A journey into your inner and divine self with the magick of plant spirits, Gaia’s truly amazing guides, and healers. Working with plant medicine is a beautiful way to create space for healing and restore flow within any of the seven main chakras. The Seven Plant Spirits Sacred Journey is a session of intention and surrender into the space beyond the mind’s understanding. It is a place of trust and letting go of what is perceived as “normal” in our current belief system and social setup. Just like in other shamanic experiences, we enter the space with an open heart where all is possible and plants can talk to us through feelings, whispers, or energetic shifts.
This particular session came to me as a beautiful download to introduce herbal medicine to people on a very personal level. I prepare the seven different herbal infusions intuitively, tuning into the field of a group or a person. We sit in a sacred space for up to three hours during which the client(s) goes through a beautiful chakra alignment. There is a lot of information that can come through the plants to the person. The journey may initiate emotional releases and energetic alignment. Often the process can allow healing as the person going through this journey connects with with parts of themselves that need the most love and acceptance. The herbal medicine acts as a conductor guiding the person deep into the spaces within themselves. Another beautiful part of this healing journey is that the herbs people feel really connected to go home with them to drink them as tea on a daily basis, for a week or two, to further assist the healing process.
You also offer Shamanic Body Work. What can you tell me about that part of your work?
Shamanic Body Work is a beautiful multi-sensory experience where I use a variety of different healing modalities, such as Reiki healing, sound healing, herbs, vibrations, etc. In a session, I take a person on a mystical and energy healing journey, which lasts around 90 minutes. As they lay down and relax, my job is to take them as deep into themselves as possible. What happens most of the time is that they have their own experience while I facilitate a healing space for them. However, if I feel that the energy needs to be moved, I do that. If there’s a clearing happening, I support it with a drum, sound bowls, or rattles. It’s a beautiful journey for me as well because I may receive energetic information or an alignment. This session is for anyone who has a hard time relaxing and feels stagnated or “stuck”. Or for anyone who lives a fast-paced life or there is just simply too much going on at the moment.
What can people learn from your Spiritual Herbalism classes?
In my herbal healing work, I provide all these different experiences—healing, learning, connecting with nature—to get people closer to the earth and connect with Mother Nature. That is my greatest intention, to facilitate a variety of experiences to have us feel more connected to nature therefore to our hearts. I believe Mother Earth is a powerful healer and herbs are her healing tools.
The Spiritual Herbalism workshops run from October to June, it is an 8-module program where we meet almost every month, either online or at my studio in Prescott, Arizona, twice a month. We learn about chakras (energy centers) and how each one aligns with a physical body system. We explore the herbs and healing modalities we can use when addressing physical and energetic issues. So, it’s a blend of folk and spiritual herbalism, meditation, and self-healing tools. As I mentioned earlier, it’s a journey, through a year with seasonal teachings and herbal remedies, materia medica, and community gatherings. Whether online or in person at my Herbal Studio, one can experience a deep connection with plant allies, diving into the wisdom of herbs and oneself.
This program was inspired by beautiful experiences with plant medicine, my mentors, and herbal training. All of it was very transformative for me. As an herbalist and energy coach, I feel that my mission in the world is to share the wisdom of plants, to share the connection we have with nature. If we can feel it, we can adjust, shift, and heal many different issues we might have in our lives. Knowing herbs and how to work with them is a part of our lives on this planet. Bringing herbs into our daily existence gives us a way to return to the Mother. My Spiritual Herbalism workshops initiate that connection and open a door into another way of feeling, living, and being.
What other services do you offer?
For those ready to delve deeper into themselves and tap into their energetic selves, I offer remote Energetic Reading Consultations and Remote Healing with Grace Integrity Codes. These remote sessions provide a more profound experience. About six years ago, I completed a healing modality program called Transcodes, which truly impacted my spiritual journey. Since then, I’ve been continuously offering energy healing remote sessions. These sessions are powerful and truly heart-opening.
Besides the workshops and energy healing sessions, I also offer herbal and wellness consultations. This quite popular offering brings together physical and energy aspects that include discussions about health, eating habits, daily routine, and supplements with a bit of medical astrology to perceive the person’s physical and energetic state better. This is a 90-minute session and can be booked online on my website. In addition, I facilitate Yoni Steaming sessions for women at the Herbal Studio in Prescott.
I also host a weekly Community Tea Time every Wednesday at my studio in Prescott. This free offering allows people to come together, enjoy a cup of tea, and discuss various topics, including life and herbs. Collaborating with other healers and practitioners, we’ve also started organizing community care events, providing free mini-sessions for everyone. These events have gained momentum over the past few months and are typically held outdoors.
Women retreats are my other passion. For the past four years I’ve been organizing retreats in northern Arizona called the Slavic Sisters Retreats, bringing my Polish sisters from Chicago, Phoenix, and across the United States to this stunning land. These four or five-day retreats take women on a spiritual journey with herbalism and mother nature rituals. Working predominantly with women, my aim in these retreats is to foster sisterhood and bring women together in our sometimes hectic lives.
All women interested in beautiful and mystical retreats I invite to our Sedona five-day Wild Woman Retreat held this June or the Practical Magick, a four-day retreat scheduled for late October of this year. These retreats are the creation of Harmony Rose and are facilitated by her, myself, and Maggie Clark.
