What was the moment or event in your life that made you realize you had psychic mediumship abilities?
There are a few significant moments in my life, but I’ll start with my first memory, which dates back to when I was about eight years old. My great-grandmother, my mom’s grandmother, whom I absolutely adored, passed away. That same weekend, my dad’s father, my grandfather, also passed away. It was a lot of grief to handle in one weekend. We had a full funeral for my grandfather, but there wasn’t one for my great-grandmother, so I didn’t really get to say goodbye to her.
A few weeks after she passed away, I felt a swoosh in my soul. Her name was Mama Sophie, and I always recognized that presence. I can feel the chills even now. I felt her presence deeply, my great-grandmother whom I adored. That was the first significant experience, and it continued from there.
I thought it was normal to see, feel, hear, taste, and smell the presence of loved ones, but I was only able to feel my loved ones. As time went on, this ability progressed to listening to friends who had passed. Unfortunately, both of my parents passed away when I was in my 30s. So, it all started when I was eight.
How do you prepare yourself mentally and emotionally before a session where you connect with spirits?
I wash my hands, and I always get downloads beforehand. I write these down in my notes, and I have a lot of notes. For example, the other day I scribbled a lot during a session. I kept writing about a father and a male energy, a female energy, and a male energy again. The male energy’s name was Gary, and he lived to be 88. He had a lot of significance.
So, I write things down, clear my office space, and wash my hands. I often do a one-minute grounding meditation. That’s it—I don’t need a lot of time to prepare, but I do wash my hands and just tap in.
I am very aware, but I don’t have a specific team of guides. I can’t tell you all their names because it’s a collective. It’s my intuition and my ancestors who all just come in.
What type of services do you offer?
I offer psychic mediumship and Reiki, which I need to add to my services list. I’ve been a Reiki master since I was little. My mom always said I had very healing hands. She had arthritis, and I would heal her body a lot when I was small. I also offer chakra balancing, which is phenomenal, house healings, and space clearings. If your house hasn’t sold or there’s an argument or stuck energy, I can go in and clear the space.
I’m an Oracle card master. I’ve studied with Colette for years in Oracle School. I also do Oracle card readings, which are incredible. I offer pet intuitiveness, talking to pets that are alive and those that have passed over. All of these services and more are listed on my website.
I conduct individual and group sessions. I’m looking to expand into larger groups because my purpose is healing hearts and talking to loved ones. While I currently do sessions for 25 to 50 people, I aim to reach 1,000 people in larger group sessions.
How do your different clair senses work together during a session? Can you give an example of how multiple senses contributed to a single reading?
I have all the “Clairs,” I hear, see, and feel. I receive information from the left, starting with audio, followed by images. Often, these images can be like a video or a live scene, such as being taken on a walk to where someone was found. Sometimes, the images are in black and white. I’ve asked my guides never to show me anything horrible, so they respect that.
Recently, there was a motorcycle accident where my face hurt. I knew it was a head injury and that the person was young. The pain was intense, so I stepped out and came back in. Then, in slow motion and black and white, I saw the accident. Lately, I’ve been feeling the pain, like the face pain, back aches, heart attacks, in my body. I use a big crystal to protect my heart. In sessions, I can often sense physical issues immediately, like back pain, and we address that first before continuing.
If the person had an addiction, I can often taste alcohol or feel a foggy presence until I identify the addiction. Then, it becomes clear. I validate what I sense, whether it’s seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, or smelling. The worst part is the physical sensations, which I plan to take a class to manage better, as it’s a heightened sense for me.
It can be overwhelming, like when I’m on TikTok Live with a lot of energy present. The other night, I had an earache suddenly and sensed someone was congested. A viewer confirmed she had right ear problems, so I did Reiki to clear it before moving on.
How has your ability to communicate with spirits influenced your personal views on life, death, and the afterlife?
I was raised in a very progressive home with a mom who was very into spiritual practices in the 70s. I grew up with meditation, past life regressions, and all that stuff. So, I’ve always known that there’s life after death. At a very young age, around 5, I realized that there’s more to life than just what we see with our eyes.
I believe I was innately born this way. Having lost a best friend and my parents in my 30s, I know for sure that they are still with us and that love never dies; it just changes form. When we ask for them, they will come to us. I also understand that we move through grief; we never get over grieving the physical loss of a person, but we move through it.
I’ve had thousands of experiences connecting to my loved ones and others. Grief is something we move through, not over. For example, I had a client who had just lost her husband and said, “I just want to get over it.” But you don’t get over it; you move through it, and it stays with you forever. The harder you love, the harder you grieve.
When I was little, my dad would call me Doctor Dolittle because I was so sensitive and connected with animals. I would save ducks and birds, and my dad was my favorite person ever. This story still blows my mind. One day, about nine years ago, I went to the mall because my phone broke. I never usually go to the mall, but I was guided to go.
As I walked through the mall, I felt funny and heard a voice say, “Hey.” There was no one around, so I thought it was a candid camera prank. But the voice said, “Lisa, I’m talking to you.” I froze. I have guides and have always had them, so I asked them to protect me. The voice told me he needed me to talk to his daughter who worked at the Apple Store. He gave me detailed instructions on what to do and even told me his name was Joe, and he had passed 2.5 years ago.
When I got to the Apple Store, the events unfolded exactly as Joe had said. The girl at the Genius Bar mentioned a loss, and I knew it was time to share. I told her about Joe, and she confirmed everything. Joe provided specific details like his name, his father’s name, and the pennies he left for his daughter. The experience was emotional and affirming.
Connecting people with their loved ones is a privilege and an honor. Joe, my guide, provided so many accurate details and even apologized for the divorce and mentioned his mother’s passing. These details were mind-blowing. I shared this story with friends, and they were amazed.
This calling has been with me for a long time. I lost a friend when I was 22, and he came to me in my 30s. Being a medium is not something I applied for; it’s a calling. I used to be an interior designer and a sales rep, but once the light is shown on you, it’s not an option to ignore it. You cannot avoid your calling, and I love it. It happens at random times, and it’s a beautiful gift. The energy is through me that I connect. I am the connection between the spiritual realms. My life purpose is to connect with loved ones and heal hearts all over the world.
