In this interview, Karen shares her personal journey of discovering her psychic abilities, her approach to helping people heal through spiritual guidance and energy work, and her newly launched Guardian Goddess Oracle Cards. Can you share a bit about your background and how you discovered your psychic medium abilities?
I guess I have always been one step ahead of situations, having someone even more experienced than my immediate family guide me from above; which was one of the indications that I had psychic tendencies and a connection with spirit. From a young age, random things would pop into my head which I knew I didn’t ‘think’ myself. As a little girl, I used to say to spirits that I was coming up the stairs and I didn’t want to see them or hear them – I remember having a pair of clog slippers that I used to bang up the stairs to let them know I was coming and they better not be there when I arrived.
I had various eye-opening confirmations throughout my adult life including being told about life events (including death) and unbelievable insight into current situations and the future. As I began to accept my abilities, I have learnt to ask for ‘messages of positivity and help on the path’ which makes it easy to block out any negative messages either from your own fear (worry) mind or negative energy. This is advice I would give any aspiring medium or any person who speaks to spirit.
How would you describe the services you offer as a psychic medium?
I currently offer Psychic and Mediumship Readings in person and on video call and I am lucky enough to have clients all over the world. I send reiki and spiritual healing to all the people I read for remotely on the evening of their reading; cutting cords to the past, draining people or situations, and clearing away any negative energy. I connect with spirit, guides, and the higher and angelic realm, goddesses, higher-self energies, and guardians.
I offer different workshops and courses in Psychic Mediumship and Reiki Healing. I also chair Development Club and Circle (currently closed as full). A new intake will be advertised on the Facebook Group / Website for September. This Club / Circle is open to everyone, however, mediums need to attend a private teaching session on a video call prior to starting our circle/development club.
You can often find me on platform in local churches and centres, private events and parties, and have put on many of my own events which have been very well received.
As a healer, how can you help people heal?
Often people need support from spirit and help on their path and being able to offer comfort and understanding along with insight with regard to what they have been through is ‘massive’ in someone’s healing journey. After acknowledging the past and present situations, I follow with positive advice, and future cards which can help people focus on good things to come (law of attraction), and then send Reiki and Spiritual Healing and perform with cord cutting and clearing. I have found that this form of work has helped so many of my clients and I feel very privileged to be able to offer this. Sometimes, people need stuck energy cleared away from either their homes or around them, I can perform remote clearings (with love and help from my special guides). These clearings have a very positive effect on the person involved, their luck, and their outlook.
Can you tell us about the Guardian Goddess Oracle Cards?
My deck launched in June 2023 and has been very well received in my local spiritual community. I am in the process of uploading them to Amazon, Etsy, and Ebay. This deck was inspired by my guides. The deck is made of up 5 different suits which you can section out and shuffle. The suits are past cards, present cards, guardian goddess advice cards, 1-5 year prediction cards, and prediction for retirement cards. I believe this is the first deck of this nature. I now use my deck for all of my readings – they are unbelievably accurate. They are available from my website only at the moment.
How do you handle sensitive or difficult topics that may arise during a reading or session?
From time to time, sensitive topics do arise. Each case is different. Personally, if you ask for only ‘messages of positivity and help on the path’ as your intention, it is very unusual not to have a positive angle on a situation. It can be hard for training mediums, as in day-to-day life, you would normally pause to consider what you need to say; however, with mediumship mediums say what pops into their head; so knowing what to say in such situations can only come with experience and by setting the intention for the most positive and helpful messages. If working on platform, it is important to sensor some information. Spirit always finds a way of helping you say what needs to be said without actually saying it. Quite often, you can ask to speak to the person in private afterward.
