Can you explain how your training in The Emotion Code, The Body Code, The Belief Code, EFT, BioSET, and Logosynthesis complement each other and contribute to your holistic approach to healing and wellness?

We human beings are complicated creatures, and our health can be affected by so many things—everything from exposures to different kinds of toxic substances and pathogens to painful or traumatic experiences we have had, limiting beliefs and belief structures that are buried in our subconscious, and even attack by various kinds of dark or offensive energy. In my experience, both personally and with clients, many health issues have some or all of these components.

As my training teaches, everything is energy and has a specific vibrational frequency. We have a physical body that we can see, feel, and touch, but also an energetic body, which we can think of as a blueprint of our physical body. What happens in our energy body affects our physiology and our experience in the world, so changing things in the energy body changes things in our physical body and our life. All the energy healing modalities I use identify and release different kinds of energy that are either imbalanced, incompatible, blocked, frozen, split off, or harmful in some way.

The Emotion Code and EFT focus on the emotional aspects of physical and emotional problems. While The Emotion Code emphasizes trapped emotions, The Body Code (which contains The Emotion Code) expands the toolkit into six main areas. These include many other kinds of negative or mental energies; imbalances in the meridians, chakras, organs, glands, and spirit body; energetic disruption from toxins like heavy metals, microbes, chemicals, stress hormones, and more; the energetic footprint of infection from molds, viruses, parasites, fungi, bacteria and biofilm; misalignments affecting bones, connective tissue, organs, and other parts of the body; and issues with foods, nutrients, water absorption, and more. The Belief Code, which I’m super excited about, is aimed at probing the subconscious mind to identify and clear every layer of negative programming and limiting beliefs that combine to create a belief system that prevents us from achieving what we consciously want, whether it’s relief from a health issue, negative emotional patterns that we can’t seem to break, or goals that remain out of reach. The Belief Code, the newest training offered by Dr. Bradley Nelson and crew, the creators of The Emotion Code and The Body Code, is a further expansion of that work.

BioSET was developed by Dr. Ellen Cutler in the 1990s specifically to eliminate allergies. It works to detoxify and balance the body by resetting the brain and immune systems so they no longer react inappropriately to various substances. BioSET is particularly helpful in relieving or permanently eliminating food allergies, environmental sensitivities, and a wide range of chronic physical symptoms.

Logosynthesis is a system of healing and guided change that uses words and specific phrases to shift negative energy patterns. It is based on the idea that each human being has a unique mission in this life, and as we clear away negative energy patterns, we are able to come more in contact with our Self and our life’s mission.

Everyone is different, and I love the fact that each of these modalities enables me to tailor each client’s sessions to their particular issues. For example, you can have 10 people with identical symptoms that have very different causes. With these modalities I am able to identify and clear the specific energetic dysfunction that contributes to their issues.

Trust and the ability to hold the space for whoever I am privileged to be working with is really important in being able to assist people in their healing journey. With that in mind, I tell each client that everyone—including me—has issues and stuff to clear, so there’s no judgment about anything that shows up in a session. I also see my work with clients as a partnership—something that we are doing together.

What inspired you to pursue certifications in The Emotion Code, Body Code, Belief Code, EFT, BioSET and Logosynthesis? How do these modalities align with your personal values and beliefs?

I first encountered energy healing 27 years ago as a patient suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, allergies to virtually all foods, fibromyalgia, leaky gut syndrome, brain fog, and a whole host of other skin, respiratory, digestive, and other frightening and annoying symptoms. In my search to heal from this, I was lucky enough to find a BioSET practitioner, Dr. Debra Singer in Albany, NY, and eventually all of my allergies and other symptoms disappeared. I was so amazed and impressed with the effectiveness of BioSET that I wanted to learn how to do it myself. In 2010, Dr. Singer began privately training me.

For most of my professional life I was an investigative environmental journalist, so I wanted to broaden my experience and learn as much as I could about energy healing. Another BioSET practitioner mentioned The Emotion Code, so I checked it out. It resonated with me, and I decided to become certified and then go on with The Body Code, which I use daily with clients. I am currently in the process of gaining certification in The Belief Code.

I also came to understand the role of trauma in illness and studied EFT tapping through EFT Universe under Dawson Church. Two years ago I began studying Logosynthesis, a powerful energy healing modality developed by Dr. Willem Lammers in Switzerland, and recently obtained certification as a Logosynthesis Practitioner. Both EFT and Logosynthesis are well grounded in human psychology, which is very helpful in untangling often complicated aspects that keep people stuck in physical or emotional distress.

I strongly believe that our bodies are designed to heal, and if we are open to that possibility, things that seem miraculous can happen. I also firmly believe that each of us have amazing and unique gifts that life’s challenges and other factors too often keep buried. So, a big part of my work is helping my clients be the best versions of themselves that they can be by peeling away the energetic distress that is causing their symptoms and limitations. When people are happy and truly fulfilled, not only does this help them, but their joy and love ripple out to their families, communities, society, and the world as a whole.

What type of services do you offer?

Energy healing sessions with the various modalities I use. I work in person with clients in the Central Catskill Mountains, as well as at the Dewa Spa at Menla, the Buddhist retreat center in Phoenicia, NY. I also work remotely on Zoom with clients here in the U.S. and overseas. Emotion Code/Body Code/Belief Code sessions with clients in the U.S. can also be done by phone.

BioSET, The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and The Belief Code all involve using muscle testing. All the answers to what is triggering a client’s problem are held in each person’s subconscious, and muscle testing enables me to tap into their subconscious to find the specifics according to the protocol I’m using.

EFT and Logosynthesis involve exploring issues and triggers by talking to the client.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is known for its focus on acupressure points and emotional release. How do you combine EFT with Emotion Code, Body Code, The Belief Code, and Logosynthesis to create a comprehensive emotional and physical healing strategy?

I typically use EFT if someone is very upset, since it can very quickly calm them down. I will often also use The Body Code in a session to augment the work we are doing, if appropriate. Because it is so powerful, The Belief Code is standalone work. Logosynthesis also needs its own dedicated session.

BioSET involves identifying and addressing allergens and sensitivities. How do you integrate this approach with The Emotion Code and Body Code to enhance overall wellness and emotional balance for your clients?

I normally start clients who come to me with lots of allergies and other physical symptoms with BioSET. I have also found BioSET to be extremely helpful for people dealing with long Covid. With people who are suffering with very complicated, chronic health issues that conventional medicine doesn’t have great tools for—one of my specialties—I often find a whole range of additional energetic imbalances that are better addressed with The Body Code, The Belief Code, EFT, or Logosynthesis. When that happens we switch gears, and I use the appropriate modality, coming back to BioSET if and when it’s needed.

With your extensive skill set, clients may present with a wide range of issues. How do you manage cases where emotional trauma, physical ailments, and energetic imbalances intersect?

Many of my clients do have a wide range of issues, including emotional trauma. After talking with them to get a sense of what kind of work resonates best with them, I may also use muscle testing to see what modality, or perhaps more than one, would be most helpful in any given session. So, my clients guide me in terms of what kind of work I can best help them with.

In most cases we’ll stick with one main modality, at least for awhile, but we can always bring in another one if it’s more appropriate for what we’re dealing with at the time.

Depending on the severity of their stress around the issue we are working on and how many layers there are to it, I explain that we will release whatever they can handle in a session. I also encourage them to have patience with themselves and faith in their ability to heal, because sometimes it takes time to fully resolve issues.

Can you share your journey to becoming a Certified Logosynthesis Practitioner? What motivated you to pursue this specific approach to therapy?

I am always interested in learning as much as I can about the different ways that energy impacts us, and an EFT practitioner I know mentioned Logosynthesis. I checked it out, and it resonated strongly, so I began working with a Logosynthesis practitioner and then decided to take the training and become certified so that I could offer this unique modality to my clients.

In your experience, how does Logosynthesis differ from other therapeutic modalities, and what unique benefits do you believe it offers to clients?

In addition to being well grounded in several schools of psychology, particularly Transactional Analysis, Logotherapy, and energy psychology, Logosynthesis describes the various ways that, in our attempts to cope with trauma, upset, illness and physical limitations, our energy can split off or become frozen in unique dysfunctional patterns that stay with us until they are identified and released.

Logosynthesis is the only modality I use that describes and clears the unique energy constructs in a person’s energy field—what the founder of Logosynthesis has described as everyone’s “own personal museum” of frozen energetic structures. These energy structures can be literally anything and can have surprisingly strong negative effects on us. Logosynthesis can also be extremely helpful in clearing limiting beliefs, wishes that may never come true, and the impact of past traumatizing relationships and experiences. Aside from emotional issues and blocks to achieving goals, Logosynthesis can also be very helpful with health and physical issues. I see Logosynthesis as an invaluable addition to the energy clearing tools I offer my clients to help them be their best selves.

As a certified practitioner, how do you stay updated on the latest developments or advancements in Logosynthesis?

There is a thriving community of Logosynthesis practitioners and learners that are in touch through several Facebook pages as well as the Logosynthesis International Association. I am part of those groups and keep up to date with them. Last year I also took several Logosynthesis Master level seminars, and I intend to continue that training.

Clients often come with diverse cultural backgrounds. How do you ensure that Logosynthesis is culturally sensitive and relevant in your practice?

When I first became a journalist, I was living in New Zealand and writing about agriculture. I quickly learned how harmful monocultures in food crops are to the environment, communities, and the quality of the food supply, and that a healthy agricultural system and natural environment depend on diversity. I see cultural diversity the same way—i.e., that the healthiest communities and societies include and welcome a range of people coming from different cultural backgrounds. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of working with people from different cultural backgrounds than mine, and if something comes up that I don’t understand, I ask the client about it. I strive to maintain that attitude with every client I meet, and this applies to every modality I practice.

What role do self-awareness and ongoing personal development play in your practice as a Logosynthesis Practitioner? How do you ensure that you bring your best self to each client session?

Self-awareness and ongoing personal development are key components of Logosynthesis training and practice, and practitioners are required to continue our own personal development. We are also expected to consult with a mentor to discuss any challenges we may face, all with the intention of making us the best practitioners—and humans—we can be.

Every human is a work in progress, and life presents us with various opportunities to work through our own issues. I am well aware of human frailty, but in my love for the world, I see the promise and possibility of much greater happiness, peace, and health than many people currently experience. The more joy and happiness in the world, the more beautiful it can be. And that’s something that is good for everyone.
