This week, we had the opportunity to speak with Jules Kennedy, a prominent Psychic Analyst who kindly agreed to give us some information about her career, work, and how she maintains a relationship of mutual trust with customers.
When did you first realize you have a psychic gift, and how did your career develop?
I have been psychic all of my life. It was something that my parents and maternal grandmother just accepted, and they allowed me to just be me. There were years as a youngster in school and as an adult that I kept my gift hush-hush and to myself. I learned how to disguise it and mute it while I worked within some jobs and had to suppress it at times.
But in 1987 I discovered psychic hotlines. I worked for several of those lines for close to 20 years while I traveled the country with my spouse and raised my children. It was a great way to hone my skills, help people with my gift and be a stay-at-home Mom for my family.
I also have had a private practice since 1992. I see private clients for readings, hold classes on various psychic topics, and write books, articles, and soon blogs. I work privately in person with local clients, by phone, and online. I am also a channel for other-worldly beings/voices and a psychic medium.
Along with the psychic and channeling work, I am a Ph.D. student in psychology, with an emphasis on the creative arts and women’s spirituality.
What is the most popular type of reading that customers are looking for? What are the most common concerns that interest them?
Back when I was working on the psychic hotlines, the most popular questions were about relationships and if the person they were interested in loved them and would soon come around to commit to them. At this point I do very few of those types of readings because most of the clients that come to me now are interested in career development, world events (past, present, and future), and what they can do to help humanity and the world survive successfully.
My readings are more “cosmic” than they ever have been because so much of what happens on Earth does and will affect the Cosmos. Clients are concerned about what they can do vocationally and as concerned citizens to ensure our happiness and survival.
Are some types of psychic readings more demanding or difficult than others?
I find that a psychic reading for someone that subconsciously does not want to truly know the answer to their questions is the most difficult situation with which to deal.
First, we address the blockage or the resistance to see if they can let their guard down. Sometimes they can’t and we complete the session early. But most often I have the ability to see something within them that will open up the flow of information.
Usually, the answers are not as scary as the client thought they would be, and some people once they look inward do know the answers to their own questions. I had a professor once say, “If you have a question, the answer is very close to your heart.”
What can a person expect from a reading?
Clients can expect that I will be honest with them, compassionate, and gentle. I have studied various philosophies, religions, psychological, and psychic literature. I have a wide range of vocational experiences as well. So, I can answer most questions due to my personal knowledge and the information given to me by the angels, guides, and those who have passed over.
There is no taboo question in my book, yet some questions (very few) do not have immediate answers. If there is no information, then we assume the client is not known, or the time isn’t ready for the answer to be present.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with customers?
When it comes to mutual trust with a client, the most important thing I feel is compassionate empathy on my part. Not only am I clairvoyant, but I am also an Empath. This means that I can feel within my body what another person is feeling, physically, emotionally, and often mentally. I never invade someone else’s psychic space unless asked to do so in a reading, or if I feel that I am or a loved one is in danger.
When my children were growing up and I had to be away from them I would know if they were in danger. That is more mother’s intuition, but it is based on the principle that if I sense danger for a close loved one, I will probably know it. I don’t invade psychic space unless asked to do so. Most clients know this and trust me as I trust them. Mutual respect is essential in the client/reader relationship.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is that it isn’t a job!! It is a passion. I love the people I work with as a psychic clairvoyant. It gives me the chance to share my gift, get to know some amazing individuals, and teach classes to those that are ready to learn.
