Jennifer’s journey is one of perpetual growth and exploration. In this exclusive Mystic Mag‘s interview, Jennifer opens up about her remarkable journey, sharing insights into her approach to healing, the fusion of intuition and education, and the transformative power of energy work in achieving holistic well-being.
How has your background in psychology, sociology, and special education informed your approach to energy healing and teaching?
My formal education has helped me explore the numerous perspectives that philosophers and researchers have utilized to explain how our personalities are formed and identify the numerous factors that impact not only our personality but also how we interpret and act on information in our daily lives. It also allowed me to observe and practice various teaching methods, all of which begin with the question: What is the purpose of this lesson/session? In addition, it has reinforced my belief that it is not my job to “teach” but to facilitate learning. I see the goal of education as helping someone identify, evaluate, and utilize the knowledge and skills needed to reach their goals. I still follow the “I do, We do, You do” method. As with my special education students, I want all my clients to feel empowered and recognize their abilities.
What led you to pursue certifications in Usui Reiki, Archangelic Light energy healing, Crystal Energy healing, and Access Bars alongside your teaching career?
My interest in Usui Reiki began decades ago when a woman I met during my time with a Rottweiler rescue. She worked at a hospital using reiki with its cardiac recovery patients and had statistically significant positive outcomes. She had begun taking courses and encouraged me to do so as well. It would be over 20 years before the time seemed right, and it would be a medical condition that led me into the field of quantum healing. Conventional medicine had provided no relief and assured me that my condition was simply something I needed to accept. Hence, my journey began. My Usui Reiki teacher was also hosting Archangelic Light energy healing classes. As I began exploring the difference between the two modalities, I felt they were complementary and intuitively knew that was my next step. My fascination with crystals began when I looked for them with my children. During my constant exploration of quantum healing to discover additional energy healing modalities, I discovered that I could also use crystals. The Access Bars were a more recent discovery while taking another quantum healing class. This healing modality appeals to my understanding of the importance of our subconscious thoughts, and it is an excellent tool because it emphasizes the neuroplasticity of our brains and exemplifies how identifying and deprogramming negative thoughts can help change how we perceive ourselves and our world.
What type of services do you offer?
My primary services are long-distance energy healing sessions for humans and animals, incorporating quantum healing. Every session is unique, and if the client doesn’t specify the type of healing they want, I ask my spiritual guides and intuition to bring in whatever is for the client’s highest good. Most sessions incorporate multiple modalities (e.g., Usui Reiki, Archangelic Light, Access Bars, etc.), and this may include cord-cutting and Light Language activations or messages. I also do house and property clearings to help rid properties of unhelpful energy.
How do you maintain a balance between providing traditional educational support and incorporating alternative healing modalities in your work?
The balance is very much determined by the client. It is much like a dance where partners take turns leading. I do try to provide what many call frontloading so that clients understand some of the vocabulary I will be using. I believe in asking questions to help clients discover their answers and lending energetic support and suggestions when asked. Sometimes, the clients ask for and need a session where they can simply lie or sit down and receive energy, and I am happy to do this for them. However, with all sessions, I provide opportunities for discussion and questions so that clients can clarify their understanding.
How do you tailor your approach to energy healing to meet the individual needs and preferences of your clients?
I prefer to do either a discovery call or exchange emails to explore what it is that the client is hoping to accomplish with our session. It is a great time to ensure that we are a good fit and to answer any questions about the process ahead of time to optimize our session time together. It also provides the opportunity to identify their preferences in healing modalities. The first step is to suspend my expectations for a session and allow the client’s team (i.e., ego, higher self, guides) to show me what they need. The rest flows organically.
What advice would you offer to other educators interested in integrating energy healing techniques into their practice, especially those working with students with special needs?
I encourage them to explore modalities that speak to them intuitively. As they work through the technique training of their choice, explore how that would work in their classroom. The beauty of many modalities is that many modalities, such as those I work with, do not require sessions with students to create positive outcomes in the classroom. Using healing energy on the classroom itself and giving oneself quick sessions at the beginning of the workday can be immensely helpful because when our energy is balanced and vibrationally high, those who come into our field can be positively impacted as well. I found that many students almost automatically synced their energy to mine; it was simply a matter of setting the intention in my field. Truly the sky is the limit with how energy can be used in all work settings.
