Your journey from debilitating migraines to living pain-free and helping others understand the source of their symptoms is inspiring. Can you share the turning point or discovery that led to your transformation and your path to becoming a Certified Body Code and Emotion Code Practitioner?
I’ve experienced migraines throughout my life, going back to when I was a very young child – I usually say around age 6, but it might have been even earlier. My parents took me to countless doctors and specialists, including neurologists every five years, just to ensure I was thoroughly checked. The diagnosis was always the same: abnormal brain wave patterns with mysterious causes. They offered pain-relief medication, but no lasting solutions. I grew up believing that migraines would naturally subside in my 20s, but that didn’t happen. This continued for about two decades until around 20 years ago in the early 2000s, when I heard about a unique technique involving tapping on specific energy points in the body – acupressure or acupuncture points. The idea behind it was to facilitate the flow of energy through the body, like resetting a circuit breaker. I attended workshops led by Gary Craig, the creator of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping. While it didn’t completely eliminate my headaches, it sparked my interest in alternative approaches to healing.
Fast forward about a decade, and I found myself living in Italy, spending Saturday mornings listening to teleseminars about various unconventional topics. One day, I came across Dr. Bradley Nelson, a chiropractor who had expanded his practice beyond conventional alignment treatments. He had developed muscle testing, a fascinating method to access the subconscious mind. Muscle testing gauges the strength or weakness of a muscle to determine if the subconscious believes something to be true or false. I found this concept intriguing, and Dr. Nelson introduced me to a binary process he had devised for emotional and physical healing. It focused on identifying and addressing emotions stuck in the body, which he believed were responsible for a significant portion of illnesses. I delved into these techniques, and in time, I realized something remarkable – I hadn’t experienced a migraine in months. No more dark rooms, painkillers, or nauseating shots. I haven’t had a single migraine since then. This success prompted me to get certified in these modalities, and I’ve since added more tools to my healing toolkit. I began assisting friends and acquaintances, particularly those dealing with migraines, and the positive results reinforced my commitment to these practices. Like any journey, my interests have expanded and evolved over time, but it all began with the pursuit of relief from those lifelong migraines.
Your holistic energy practice extends to working with animals, including calming horses and helping rescue animals with anxiety and fear issues. Could you tell us more about how energy healing can benefit animals, and do you have any memorable success stories in this area?
Part of the certification process for these techniques involves working with animals and documenting the sessions, along with the results observed by the animal owners. It’s a fascinating process that includes remote work. Think of it like tuning into a specific radio frequency – we all have our unique energy frequencies. Just as you dial a specific number on your phone to reach a particular person, you can learn to tune into a specific person’s or animal’s energy frequency. This allows you to communicate with their subconscious and identify the emotional baggage, pathogens, toxicities, belief systems, or emotions causing imbalances at that moment. You neutralize these imbalances, and people notice positive changes in their lives.
Speaking of animals, let me share an experience. I was at the California State Fair, and I noticed a highly anxious and agitated horse with its handler. The horse was so distressed that I couldn’t walk away. So, I started performing mental energy anxiety release techniques on the horse. It only took about ten minutes, and I was on one side of the horse’s stall while he was on the other with his handler. There was no physical interaction, but I could feel the anxiety leaving the horse’s body, replaced by a sense of calm. It was truly amazing to witness.
I’ve also had the privilege of working with horse rescues. These animals often have traumatic histories, having been on the brink of slaughter before being rescued. They carry emotions like insecurity, helplessness, and fear. Through energy work, we help them feel secure in their new homes and start afresh.
I’ve worked extensively with dogs, being a dog person myself. I’ve found that many behavioral issues in dogs, like excessive barking, stem from fear and insecurity. Dogs are pack animals, and when left alone, they often experience loneliness and uncertainty. They don’t know you’ll be back in a few hours; they feel abandoned. By addressing these emotions, we can often alleviate barking and help our furry friends feel more at ease.
You offer sessions remotely. How does distance affect the effectiveness of energy healing, and what advantages does it offer for clients who might not be physically present?
Absolutely, everyone has their unique vibration, and in my work, I tune into that vibration to connect with individuals. I also collaborate with other healers who seek mentorship or want to boost their confidence in their healing abilities. Sometimes, they might have clients they feel uncertain about, thinking they missed something important during a session. In those cases, they tune into the client, and I can follow their energetic connection to the client to see if there’s anything they might have overlooked. I don’t need to know the client’s identity; I read the energy itself. It’s akin to tuning into different TV channels and seeing what’s playing on each channel.
Another aspect of my work involves assisting younger healers, and a key part of that is boosting their confidence in their abilities.
In addition to individual healing sessions, you’re also passionate about working with new healers and aspiring leaders.
Could you elaborate on the CONFIDENT HEALER FACTOR group coaching program and the CONFIDENT LEADER program? What transformational experiences can participants expect?
I’ve had the opportunity to delve into the world of muscle testing, a fundamental tool in many healing modalities. Through my six-week muscle testing course, I offer an interactive learning experience that equips participants with the skills to perform 12 different muscle testing methods. It’s fascinating to discover that once you master one, you can confidently handle them all, provided you believe in your abilities. Building confidence is a central theme in healing work, as it involves trusting one’s skills, knowledge, and intuition. I’ve witnessed firsthand the self-worth challenges that often accompany aspiring healers. Learning to trust that inner voice and the information it provides can be a journey of self-assurance. With experience, doubts naturally wane, paving the way for increased self-confidence.
My work with newer healers has revealed their struggle with self-trust. Questions like, “Why would anyone choose me?” and “What if I make a mistake?” are common concerns. However, I firmly believe that healing work should focus on addressing the root causes of issues rather than merely treating symptoms. Just like a well-crafted song, the removal of discordant notes, or emotional baggage, allows for a harmonious and healthier life. It’s essential to consider alternative approaches when conventional methods fall short, offering potential relief and a path to holistic well-being.
Being part of the Personal Power community, you aim to help individuals discover and step into their personal power.
Can you share some key strategies or practices that people can start implementing in their lives today to begin reclaiming their personal power and creating a positive impact?
The first step in achieving any transformation is becoming aware of your current situation and understanding where you truly want to be, whether it’s in your personal life or in your business. This awareness is crucial to kickstart the process of change. The second step is to get laser-focused on your goals. Understand exactly what you want and why you want it. The more you concentrate on your objectives, the clearer they will become, and this clarity will guide your decision-making and actions. Many people inadvertently focus on what they don’t want, which can lead them in the wrong direction. So, shift your focus to what you do want, and even if it’s not crystal clear initially, your path will become clearer over time as you make choices aligned with your goals. Lastly, take strategic action. Begin moving toward your desired outcome, even if it’s just a small step. For example, if you aspire to live in a particular city, start by researching homes in that area. The more emotional attachment you can build to your goals, the more likely they are to materialize. These three steps are: awareness, focus, and action.
It’s essential to recognize that the power to bring about change lies within you. If you continually focus on why you can’t achieve something, you’re essentially giving away your power. Words have a profound impact, and what you affirm becomes your reality. For instance, if you frequently say, “I’m always sick,” your subconscious will work to make that statement true because your beliefs shape your reality. Even if it’s just a belief and not a fact, your subconscious will maintain that state to prove you right. Therefore, monitor the language you use and shift from disempowering statements to more constructive ones. Reclaim your personal power by practicing these three steps: awareness, focus, and action. These steps work in harmony to guide you toward your desired future. Remember, without a clear destination, it’s challenging for your internal GPS to get you where you want to go.
