As an alchemist, how do you blend traditional coaching methods with alchemical principles to facilitate transformative change in your clients?
Traditional coaching intends to help clients find clarity and take aligned action towards their goals. Traditionally, this is done with tools and strategies that work with their conscious minds. What I do goes much deeper than that. Real change happens at a subconscious level. Your beliefs, limitations, perceived weaknesses, and identity live in this. All resistance comes from your subconscious. All habits and behaviors come from your subconscious. Working with the subconscious is where alchemy comes in. Alchemy intends to undo your human conditioning. To purify your ego, peel back the layers of projected beliefs, limitations, perceived weakness, and heavy emotions imprinted onto your mind, forming your identity and fueling your behaviors. The entire point of alchemy is to forget who you thought you were, which is just the projections of the people and the world around you when you were a child, and remember who you are- a source of pure creative unlimited potential. To do this, a transmutation must take place and it must take place in your subconscious mind. Once your new identity is formed, your feelings and behaviors change, and then your reality shifts.
In your work, you mention unearthing clients’ fears. How do you identify and address these fears, and what role does hypnotherapy play in this process?
Typically, my clients already know what their fears are before they come to see me. Or, at least, what they perceive their fears to be. Once we get into our work together, I help them see what’s lurking beneath the surface. Fear results from our ego thinking that a belief we hold about ourselves is about to be realized. What I mean by that is that if you hold a belief that you are not good enough in your subconscious, your ego will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are never in a situation where that belief is realized. It will create emotions, habits, behaviors, and excuses that keep you from entering that situation. Now, our beliefs are held in our subconscious, tucked away from our conscious awareness. So most people will just feel the fear or resistance and have no idea why. If someone doesn’t know what they are fearing, and they just know the kind of life that they want to have, but can’t seem to create it, I will look at where and how they are resisting. I will look at how they are sabotaging or just not doing what they need to do to get where they want to be, and I will use that as a starting point to find the fears beneath it. Once I locate the belief systems that are creating the fear, I change it. This is where hypnotherapy comes in. I am almost always doing some form of hypnotherapy during my sessions with clients. Hypnotherapy opens up communication with a person’s subconscious mind. Once they are in a trance state, I can uncover a person’s programming and assist them in the reprogramming. Like I said earlier, all problems are held in the subconscious, and a hypnotic trance state is how you access the subconscious.
What type of services do you offer?
There are 3 ways you can work with me. First, I offer focused, issue-specific sessions where I’ll assist you in overcoming a particular challenge, emotion, or behavior you’re facing. Typically, it will take anywhere from 3 to 5 sessions, depending on the issue. This is great if you just have one specific issue you want to address. If you’re seeking a deeper transformation and extra support, my four-month coaching program is designed to help you become the 2.0 version of yourself. This is where I help you create an identity that aligns with your dream life. This is great if you are battling an addiction or depression. If you’re an athlete, an artist, an entrepreneur, or just someone who has multiple issues to address and wants a full identity shift and more support. The last way you can work with me is through my hybrid online group coaching program called Life by Design. This is for the person who wants to live a life aligned with their soul’s calling, but they don’t know exactly what that looks like. It’s a combination of course modules and weekly live coaching with me. I offer this quarterly.
Given your diverse background in hypnotherapy, alchemy, and coaching, are there any unique or unconventional techniques you employ that have proven particularly effective in supporting your clients?
The unique yet powerful modality that I use, I would say, is conversational hypnosis. This is where I shift a person into a trance state using conversation, and I speak directly to the subconscious in a way that will not only enhance the trance but allow the subconscious mind to solve a person’s conflict on its own. The subconscious is naturally a very powerful part of your brain and once you learn how to use it, it can solve any problem naturally.
How do you integrate hypnotherapy into your coaching sessions, and what advantages does this bring to the process of guiding clients through transformative experiences?
If a person is coming to see me for one specific issue, then we are only doing hypnotherapy. If they are coming in for an identity shift, then coaching is used to get clear on who they want to become and what needs to happen for them to become it. Once that is established, we use hypnotherapy and other subconscious integration methods to clear the resistance at the root. I also use hypnotherapy to dismantle their current identity and rebuild their new one. The advantage this brings is the speed and permanence of the transformation. Change happens fast when it’s done in the subconscious.
Balancing alchemical principles with practical coaching can be intricate. How do you strike this balance to ensure your clients experience both profound inner shifts and tangible real-world results?
Your outer reality reflects your inner world. Once you alchemize your programming, your outer world shifts. You will never really have a permanent, tangible change in your life without addressing your subconscious programming.
