Join Mystic Mag as we delve into Grace Arielle’s holistic approach to healing, exploring how she integrates various modalities to illuminate the path towards wholeness and well-being.

Your journey into holistic therapy seems deeply personal and profound. Can you share a pivotal moment or experience that inspired you to pursue this path?

My journey into holistic therapy has been and still is a profound growth journey both personally and professionally. The most pivotal life experience moment(s) were healing from multiple childhood traumas.  I utilized a combination of talk and somatic therapies on my own healing journey and was later inspired to create a safe, peace filled space for mind/body/spirit healing for women.

With over 20 years of experience, what significant changes or shifts have you observed in the field of holistic therapy, and how have these influenced your practice?

When I first came onto the healing scene a little over 20 years ago the landscape of holistic therapy practices looked quite different. Massage therapy had a prostitute stigma around it- no matter how therapeutic. Reiki was a little known practice with few facilitators. The world of informed trauma and somatic therapy (body focused therapies) were just being seeded. We see these pathways are now widely known and accepted by many. My practice doesn’t change so much with industry shifts but by what the collective needs of my clients are.

What type of services do you offer?

The types of services offered support body awareness, inner peace, feelings of well being & wholeness, empowerment and set a framework for powerful healing paths. There are four core services currently offered with the addition of seasonal offerings. The four core services are integrative healing massage, reiki/chakra balancing, heart centered counseling and return to wholeness trauma healing.  Sometimes we combine these services within a session. All offerings are curated and customized based on clients needs, as well as, healing and growth intentions.

Nature often serves as a mirror for our inner selves. How do you incorporate nature’s wisdom into your therapeutic approach, and what role does it play in your clients’ healing journeys?

I truly believe nature is one of our greatest teachers and healers, it has the ability to bring the human energy field and mind into a calm state, it teaches us how to let go, how to honor and allow the phases of birth, death, rebirth, it shows us resilience and our connection to all other living beings.  I utilize natural elements as often as possible during sessions such as essential oils, organic carrier oils, jade hot stones & lavender heat packs.  I recommend everyone spend time in nature sitting under a tree, going for a mindful walk or laying on the ground in soil or sand in order to absorb the earth/nature energies as a part of a balanced self care routine. For several years I guided six themed womens meditation hikes annually for my clients. Nature Heals!

As a Reiki Master Teacher, how do you integrate Reiki into your holistic therapy sessions, and what unique benefits does it offer for clients on their healing journeys?

Both hands on and distance Reiki are integrated into holistic healing sessions.  I often utilize reiki to support people who “aren’t feeling quite themselves” or “out of alignment with life” Additionally, I utilize it with clients who are seeking deep inner peace.

The benefits of reiki are multifaceted and happen on many levels with this system of healing. Reiki can assist in the release of stored emotion, worry, fear and tension. In working with the physical body, Reiki boosts the bodys’ innate self healing abilities.

As individuals move through the healing of past traumas (emotional, physical, sexual, mental) Reiki helps balance mood and energy.  Reiki sessions also support us in maintaining a sense of balance as we let go of old patterns, behaviors and habits. It is gentle and so profound.

With such a diverse toolkit of healing modalities at your disposal, how do you approach tailoring your sessions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client?

Each session is curated and customized to meet the client’s needs. As we enter a session together,  I deeply listen to what the client is sharing about, observing the body posture, the breath, noting where tension is held. During session, supportive essential oils, guided visualization with breath practices are sometimes given to create space for embodiment alongside massage/reiki treaments. When clients need to “get clear” about something we  journal with prompts. Like nature that has an organic crearion and growth rythym, these sessions also grow organically in the moment.  The present moment it’s where the alchemical magic of healing lives.
