What inspired you to become a Reiki Master and establish Agape Reiki?

My first contact with Reiki happened when I was nine years old, reading a magazine I found fascinating healing with energy.

Posteriorly, in my teenage years, I experienced many challenges after suffering bullying, domestic violence, and rejection; I found myself in deep despair, giving up on life, and depressed; without finding any sense in life, Jesus appeared to me, I felt his energy filling my body and psychographic messages; after this episode, I got profoundly connected with mysticism, occult sciences, and energy healing, I went to temples from diverse religions, and study many dogmas and everything related to spirituality.

My curiosity, skepticism, and spiritual search helped to open the doors for holistic healing.

I don’t consider Reiki a spiritual practice; it is a channeling, sensing, energy transmutation. My connection with the light, spirituality, and science waked a deep hate in my father; he was a fanatic evangelic, and brutality repressed my search, books, music, altar, studies, and spirituality.

I never saw Reiki as a career due to a lack of information, and that’s my mission now: to share the techniques, help spread the light, and help other people reach healing and wellness.

I had a stable career in Marketing, and when happened my first return of Saturn (29 years old), my life and beliefs started turning upside down; I wanted to find freedom and happiness outside of the corporate world, and with 33 years, my life started breaking apart, the economic of my country collapsed, financial crisis, impeachment, and as a reflection of external chaos my business lost mostly clients, my stable relationship fell apart. I broke up after 11 years of partnership, and as a result, my ex-partner attempted to take my life away from this episode of domestic violence. I experienced an almost dead experience, where I saw the light, and for some reason, after not breathing for some minutes that looks an eternity, I saw my soul floating in the white-yellow bright light tunnel, and for some reason, God bringing back.

Then, I had the opportunity to move to the USA to improve my English and complete my language studies. The entire universe gave me everything that I needed to come here.

Afterward, I learned that seeing your life ruined in all areas is called the Dark Night of the Soul. It aligns us with our true mission and life purpose.

Since I moved to Miami, multiple synchronized episodes and spiritual teachers crossed my way, guiding me through my healing process and mission alignment.

In 2017, I got engaged, and after getting married, from the fairytale, I was lanced in a nightmare. From the most romantic gentleman, present boyfriend fiance, he became profoundly cold. Without understanding the significant personality change, I was devastated.

In profound pain and despair, feeling rejected and abandoned, I started to meditate, looking for answers. After three months of loneliness, isolation, and profound meditation, I had a spiritual awakening, ego death, cleanse of many layers of negativity, doubts, illusions, selfishness, and fears. Through this process, clear messages came to me. The reconnection with my soul awakened my psychic senses, energy healing skills, and intuition; my spiritual guides started talking to me more actively.

To save my relationship, I studied psychology, well-being, and all related subjects unceasingly, with love and compassion for his soul and everything he had made for me. The relationship didn’t work out, but our destination was to awaken my life purpose.

I got certified in Access Bars, Reiki, and Theta Healing. Also, I keep studying fields related to Sacred geometry, quantum physics, sociology, quantum healing, polarities, wellness, and many other life hacks for healing and well-being.

Holistic healing is my life mission. It was my service to humanity, sharing the light and healing.

How do you approach teaching Reiki to your students at Agape Reiki? What sets your teaching style apart from others in the field?

My teaching style is established on real-life circumstances; it’s a practical approach. I won’t just teach you how to channel in the light and give you explanations. I go deep into understanding the human being and the root causes of diseases from the spiritual and physical perpectives. So, if someone comes with an issue, it’s because something happened before, triggering a reaction. I don’t just use traditional medicine; I incorporate all pillars of holistic medicine. I provide awareness to my patients about what changes they need to make in their lives and what actions they should take to overcome the obstacles that brought them to me in the first place. It’s more about prevention and awareness, truly understanding the human being.

What type of services do you offer?

I offer Aromatherapy, Reiki, Access Bars, Theta Healing, Mediumnity, Sound healing, and Reiki Circles. Additionally, I incorporate natural supplements such as teas and Bach Flowers. So, essentially, that’s the whole package.

Reiki is often associated with spiritual and emotional healing. How do you integrate these aspects into your practice and teachings?

Ayurveda tradition explains that we have five bodies (Koshas): the physical, the emotional, the mental, the spiritual, and the etheric body, all of which compose our Auric Energetic Field. Other traditions mention seven bodies, while some say ten.

Everything is energy at the most fundamental level and all its interconnected; if we reduce everything to atoms, we can rearrange the elements and create anything.

There is no separation between the spirit and the physical body. So, whatever happens to you emotionally, you will feel it in your physical body—for example, crying.

There is no separation because everything is connected.

Through energy, you can integrate and clearly see all layers because you are multi-dimensional beings.

As the founder of both a private practice and a school of Reiki, what do you believe are the essential qualities or skills for a successful Reiki practitioner?

I recommend continuing to study. It’s essential because nowadays, we have so much technology that we can incorporate into our services and products.

The world is changing rapidly; we must be open to receiving new information and creating more avenues for improvement.

Offering different energy healing options for our customers requires us to be dynamic.

We shouldn’t stick to the old-fashioned mentality of learning one thing and stopping there. Instead, we should constantly learn new techniques, adapt, and reinvent our approaches to bring more healing and clarity to our processes and enhance the quality of life for our patients.
