Meet Erica Johnson, a psychic, medium, and necromancer with over a decade of experience in connecting with the spirit realm. Can you please share a few details about yourself and your professional journey?
I am a psychic, medium, and necromancer. I started my journey about 10 years ago. I was always curious about life after death and when my step-father transitioned my curiosity was peaked. I started learning from various teachers. In 2017 I started practicing with others and a few years later I began teaching others. What I learned is that death is not final. The energy just continues on in a different form. As a necromancer, I work with the dead to get occult knowledge and insight. I’m able to apply the knowledge to my life and my clients.
What is it like to be a modern-day Necromancer?
It’s a lot of fun to me. I look for people who’ve had some type of impact from history, I sit with them, and I want to know what it was like for them when they were living. Many teachers and thought- leaders have some information that they want shared. I ask them to teach me. I want them to share some of their secrets with me that may not be in books or things that you can’t access easily. I then take the information I receive and apply what I feel is relevant in our modern times.
Can you walk us through one of your readings?
A mediumship reading is where I’m connecting people with their deceased loved ones. I will ask the person the name, the age of the person that transitioned, and their relationship to them. This helps me connect with the right person. What happens then is that the dead person sends me images. I’ll feel sensations in my body and then I relay these back to the person that I’m reading for. These messages are very conversational. I provide evidence-based information, such as their favorite food or their personality. I have given very specific information.
As an example, I received a message that a person needed to save $10,000 because an important opportunity was coming. It’s really about providing that confirmation that the loved one is still around. They also might relay something about the funeral that was done on their behalf, for example about the colors or who was there. Often they want us to know that they are still around. Even though the body is gone, the love is absolutely still there. They’re on the other side, helping us however they can. Readings are very conversational.
What is Future-Scaping?
Future escaping is where we work together to create a goal for you. If you’re not sure what you want to do, but you know that you’re interested in a particular topic, I’m able to tap in intuitively and see different skills that you may have that you’re not aware of. I show you how you can take what you already have and put that towards creating the future that you’re desiring. I also always give a customized visualization practice for people to go back and listen to so that the person can reprogram themselves to get into that state of mind of whatever it is that they are creating.
What can a person hope to achieve with your spiritual guidance?
They can expect to get more clarity, feel more empowered, and learn to trust their own intuition. Many times, when people meet with me, they will already have a sense of something is going on or that their loved one is trying to reach out to them. However, they are often doubting themselves. They think they’re making it up.
After a session with me, they get to see that yes, this is real, these are real interactions, and you can trust yourself.
Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?
I have a mediumship development group and that’s where I actually work with people in a group to teach them how to use their own abilities. We practice channeling and we do a lot of shadow work in that group because one thing that I think people may not think about is that we have to take care of ourselves mentally, emotionally, and physically. Sometimes people are so intrigued by the woo-woo spirit side that they forget about the human experience and that we have to be balanced in this work. The mediumship development group is where we address all of that and I’m very proud of that work.
