Can you describe the process by which you tap into psychic abilities and connect with the spiritual realm?
I connect naturally to those in Spirit, I just do when asked. I am clairvoyant, clairsentient, and clairaudient and remote view to receive information. Remote viewing has been used by various organizations and individuals since the 1960s. I didn’t know it was remote viewing until somebody told me that is what I was doing. Remote viewing is where your consciousness goes to where or whoever you are directed to go, and reap the information available, return, and relay.
Can you describe how you discovered your connection with Spirit Realm and your abilities?
I was born with it. When you’re born with something, you think everyone can do it. In the 1970s I was talking about something I was seeing in the etherics and somebody said, “We didn’t know you were psychic”. I didn’t do anything with it because I had other things to do in life at the time, I just thought it was an interesting thing to hear and put it on the back burner.
After going through a very challenging time in my life, I recognised a lifestyle change was needed. |As a part of that process, in 1994 I went on a just over two-year comprehensive complementary health therapist course studying colour and crystal therapy, vibrational energy therapy, flower therapy, physiology and anatomy, and counseling and qualified in 1997. During this time my psychic abilities came to the fore.
After qualifying and working as a therapist, it became clear I was receiving messages from Spirit, which became a part of the session. To hone my psychic skills, I joined a psychic line and stayed there I think for about six months to a year, during which I morphed into a psychic-based therapist, and then became an independent psychic in 2002.
What type of services do you offer?
Whether a client has a telephone or written reading, I work with the spiritual aspect of wellness when required. As a psychic I do not predict, my clients receive a spiritual understanding of their situation and guidance from their guides, angels, and loved ones, along with practical options that come through. At the end of the reading, they have the information and guidance they need to make informed decisions and move forward.
I also hold one-to-one, two-day workshops over Skype. They are freewheeling to reveal how the student works with Spirit, which is developed and harnessed, so they know how to use their connection with Spirit in a positive and practical way. The workshops are intensive, very intensive however, many of my clients have said they have found them to be life-changing. The workshops are also suitable for those who are aware of their abilities and wish to develop them further, for those who wish to turn professional, and for professional psychics who wish to increase their skill set. I never recommend a workshop or a reading when asked because this is one of the ways in which a person gives their power away. Instead, I ask that they go with what they are drawn to, or the one they don’t want on the grounds we tend to push away what we need to face.
Have you ever encountered situations where your psychic insights conflicted with a client’s desires or expectations?
There are still some people who assume and expect psychics to predict. I make it perfectly clear during my introduction and on the FAQ page of my website that I do not predict, I provide information. A predictive reading unwittingly creates a self-producing prophecy, and that isn’t a prediction. It is the client unwittingly having created the “prediction”, when in fact there was no prediction, simply information given in a predictive manner.
It isn’t that I don’t see what’s happening and where it is likely to lead, I do, however, I don’t agree with the practice of prediction. I pass on the information I receive in a non-predictive manner without changing the essence of the message. The client is therefore left free to make an informed decision.
Because of the heavy toll non-materialised predictions can take on a person, I have taken measures to ensure a client is aware that I do not predict. It is impossible for a client to purchase a reading on my website unless they have clicked the boxes for my terms and conditions and FAQ needing to be read first, and I advised them on the act during my introduction before I start doing a reading. Furthermore, if at that time or within the first 3 minutes of the start of a reading, they wish for a prediction or say that the way I work isn’t suiting them, they get a full refund. However, if a client gives no indication during a reading that they are not resonating with it or wait until the end and then demand a refund, I use my discretion as to whether I pay a refund or partial refund, but I do deduct the banking charges for doing so.
How do you maintain your own emotional and energetic well-being when dealing with the challenges and energies of others during psychic readings?
My nature, it’s just how my brain is wired. It’s my nature not to get emotionally involved and the work itself doesn’t drain me; in fact, it energizes me, and I am very grateful for this quirk in my nature. It’s almost as though I was made for the job . Although I am a very caring person and I am emotionally intelligent, during a reading I control my emotions to the point that it can come across as being uncaring at times. To me, it’s better to be so focused on what I am doing and getting it right than being distracted by a client’s emotions and losing the information they need to make sense of their lives. So, I stand back, hold the space until the client processes, and then continue. Sometimes I sense I am expected to react, but I don’t because it would be counterproductive.
I must be honest, I can’t and have no desire to be any other way. Some people have expectations of psychics and I’m afraid I don’t fit into them, and I won’t compromise my work by trying to do so. It’s far better to let people know I work in a no-nonsense fashion, and if somebody ignores it, I consider that’s their responsibility, not mine, but such people are very few and far between, most people want to know the truth of the matter and are very grateful to receive it. That’s where I stand and that is one of the reasons why I have lasted so long in this highly competitive part of the psychic wellness sector.
