Breathwork, Sound, and Wellness with Cynthia Rose

Breathwork, Sound, and Wellness with Cynthia Rose

It’s MysticMag‘s pleasure to introduce Cynthia Rose of Cynthia Rose Healing Arts, whose journey into alternative healing began with a personal quest for solutions outside traditional healthcare. Her work includes resonant sound frequencies and conscious connected breathwork, offering a holistic approach to wellness that encompasses various energy medicine modalities and deeply transformative dialogue.

Can you tell me a bit about your professional beginnings and what led you into the world of alternative healing?

My beginnings in Alternative Healing began after decades of trying to find solutions for my own health challenges in the allopathic model of health care. I wasn’t getting the answers I needed there, and my health was continuing to deteriorate in ways that were simply unacceptable to me. I had a genuine desire to feel and be healthy in every way and I guess I was praying for some kind of help to present itself to me. I began to understand the power of prayer, as the answers began to show up in my life. It felt very much like divine orchestration that I was led to connect with the people who would introduce me to alternative methods for healing the body, mind, and spirit. As I began to learn these things and choose to embrace an empowered state of health for myself, there was a kind of “Yes of course this is how it works! This makes so much more sense to me!” which happened for me. I began to see the deep connection between psychological programs and imprints in the subconscious and the manifestations of pain, illness, and disease in my physical body. I truly began to heal… and it happened in miraculous ways.

As a result of my own success with finally being able to live in a healthy body, I immediately set to the task of training to become a practitioner so that I could help others reconnect to, and activate the intelligence of their own bodies, minds, and spirits. Alternative healing is an absolutely fascinating field of study and practice, and I continue to learn and integrate different modalities/protocols into my practice as I expand in my own understanding of the complexities of what contributes to and depletes our wellbeing.

There are so many ways to go about it, but the key thing to remember is that this type of work is meant to be deeply centered in the heart… in love and true compassion. It is the field of the heart that allows for beneficial frequencies to impact the human biofield and transform the energies there.

What are the principles behind Resonant Frequency Sound Activations?

When I began to study alternative therapeutic methods of personal transformation, I felt drawn to sound as a way to help affect change in the human energy systems. It’s well known that music can alter a person’s mood instantaneously, and in that, also impact feelings of physical, mental, and spiritual health. There have been studies that show the potential for resonant frequencies to alter disease processes in the body. Dr. Emoto conducted studies that showed the impact of the resonance of the frequencies of words and thoughts/intentions on water molecules. Sound Energy healing has been a practice since ancient times and is known to have a beneficial impact on the body, mind, and spirit, so I knew that there was validity to the idea of sound being one way to access altered states of wellbeing.

When the COVID pandemic happened in 2020, as fortune would have it, a close friend who is a musician and fellow practitioner ended up stuck in Colorado with me through the quarantine. It was at that time that the idea for Quantum Consciousness Technologies was born.

The principle behind these unique technologies is that, by using very specific harmonic frequencies combined with powerful intentions for transformation into integrity with wellbeing on all levels, we can activate a resonance with patterns in the body/bioenergetic field, and create beneficial shifts. Different harmonic frequencies can activate/transmute different patterns in the body and energetic field. The technologies were designed to work intelligently with the intentions we held for each activation, and with the unique intentions the listener/experiencer sets for themselves as they interact with each activation. The Hz frequencies we used are targeted for the specific intentions and there is very specific languaging that is used in some of the activations to help the listener remember their innate intelligence as a wholistic advanced technology themselves.

The main impetus at the foundation of creating these sound activations is the deeply held desire to help people choose to be empowered when it comes to their own health and wellbeing. It is our hope that the activations will help people to remember that they can leverage the power of their own free will to choose health on all levels of being as well as choose to embrace the knowing that our human potential is far beyond what we have been taught that it is. It is our hope that these activations bring people into the unified field of the heart so that they can view themselves and others through that lens which brings us closer together, as opposed to dividing us and putting us at odds with one another.

Can you walk me through one of your Resonant Frequency Sound Activation sessions?

At this point in time, we have created 6 QCT activations for people to interact with. We have Harmonize, Purify, Regenerate, Activate, Inspire, and Unify. Based on an intuitive process and observation of the patterns that are present in a client’s life at the time of the session, I will either select an activation for a client or the client will select one for themselves. (Sometimes there is a combination that is most beneficial.) Once we have selected the appropriate activation(s), I will have the client set intentions for themselves and relax on either a zero gravity reclining chair or on my treatment table. The activations can be played on a speaker, but are best played through high-quality headphones. I simply ask the client to be present with the sound and language activations that are being offered and to allow themselves to interact with the frequencies on the mental, physical, and spiritual/quantum levels. Clients report experiencing sensations in the body as well as imagery in their inner vision along with emotional responses and helpful shifts in mindset/perspective.

These activations are also offered virtually. I offer instruction on how to use them appropriately and clients can interact with the sound activations in the comfort of their own homes. We will often book a follow-up session to process and integrate the awareness that is activated after a sound session. Just in the past month, I have begun to offer these technologies in combination with Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions in my group program “Inspire” which has been quite an incredible experience for clients thus far.

What can you tell me about your work as a conscious connected breathwork coach?

When I was introduced to Holotropic breathwork back in 2017, I knew it was something special in the realm of transformational healing arts. Conscious Connected Breathwork is one technique that uses breath to affect change within the body, mind, and spirit. The practice involves using a controlled breathing process to activate and access altered states of consciousness.

The purpose of breathwork practices was primarily to achieve greater states of awareness and mindfulness and obtain enlightenment of some kind. From the Greek words, “holos” (whole) and “trepein” (to move toward), the word “holotropic” translates to “moving toward wholeness.”

It has been found that active breathwork can be a really potent and efficient way to trigger powerful somatic releases from the physical body when people have stored emotional energies from past experiences that were traumatic for them.

In the past 9 years, I have leveraged many different energy medicine/alternative therapeutic approaches to gain greater degrees of wellbeing and awareness in my own life. What I found in my personal experience was that breathwork is one of the fastest and most efficient ways of breaking through the intrusive thoughts of the mind and diving deeper (or expanding higher) into a more heart-centered awareness around the patterns, programs, and imprints that exist in the subconscious. I also found that it has been one of the best ways to fast track HUGE emotional release without having to analyze and process anything around the “why” I even had those discordant energies stored inside of me in the first place.

From my perspective, the therapeutic process of reframing programs in the cognitive mind is absolutely crucial to our wellbeing, but if we are doing that without releasing the energies that are held within the chemistry of the body as a result of the repression of healthy emotional responses to things, true healing remains elusive. This is a complex subject, so I won’t dive deeper here, but it’s so important to understand that true health is only attained if we approach healing on a holistic level, working with the body, mind, and spirit and the energies present in every aspect of being.

It was because of my own powerful experiences with breathwork practice in classes and retreats that I felt drawn to become a Breathwork teacher/coach myself and took an intensive training program with teacher Jon Paul Crimi last summer to receive my certification.

In the training, we learned how to facilitate for clients in one-on-one, couples, and group settings. I have just begun integrating one-on-one and group sessions to a greater degree in my practice and developed a 6-week group intensive program called “Inspire” that I am facilitating now. The reported and visible transformation the participants are experiencing is incredible and I am certainly inspired to integrate breathwork offerings as a larger part of my practice offerings. What I find I like best about it is that it gets people to the somatic releases much more effortlessly and there isn’t the same need for mental scrutiny and processing around the root cause for the stored energies. It is a very freeing process. The other aspect I really love about breathwork is that it truly activates an internal inspiration and an inner voice that is kinder and more aligned with the truth that exists underneath all of the unkind and untrue things that we tell ourselves about who we are. It’s like we get access to an inner cheerleader that we didn’t even know was in there!

Combining the breath practice with the sound activations seems to have amplified the beneficial results for each participant and I am really excited to see what else is possible with the addition of guided Shamanic journey with the breath practice in this program as well.

What other services do you offer?

I began my training in 2014 and have integrated a wide variety of Energy Medicine modalities/techniques/protocols into my practice over the years including: Matrix Energetics, Healing Touch, Reiki, Shamanic Practice, The Emotion Code, Energy Psychology methods, Mindfulness-based cognitive frameworks, Breathwork, Curse and Thoughtform Unravelling, etc.

I have always found that explaining and putting into words “what I do” tends to be challenging, because “what I actually do” in sessions is always so complex and multifaceted, and it’s different every single time. I sometimes just tell people that I’m a “Wizard” and see where it goes from there. In all seriousness, the main focus of my practice, foundationally, has been to work with people on mindset because this is, from my perspective, the most critical factor in determining where we will be in our wellness on all levels. I help people through a process called “Transformational Dialogue”, to uncover deeply rooted subconscious beliefs and programs so that they can see where those programs are causing unhealthy behaviors in their lives. I assist and support my clients in a process of loving self-awareness and acceptance as they discover the things they are doing in their lives that are sabotaging their happiness, wellbeing, and overall effectiveness. I hold a safe, loving space for clients to share, talk, and open up about things that might feel hard to talk about, and I support them through their process of moving from patterns of trauma toward wellness. As we work through these patterns, we go into a process of discovery around where these discordant energies are held in the body, where they are entangled with external factors, and where they are tied to epigenetic contributors as well as past life experiences.

It is truly a “working on all layers and levels” system of care. The cognitive mindset work which is the cornerstone of almost every session, inevitably impacts the wellbeing of the entire energy system and can impact the physical body in sometimes very astonishing ways as we stir up and begin to move the client back into a state of harmony and coherence in the entirety of the energetic body.

I offer transformational sessions which include shamanic journeying for soul retrieval, past life regression, soul purpose, curse and thoughtform unraveling, removal of unhealthy attached energies. Quantum energy healing etc. I enjoy introducing clients to new ways to discover things about themselves that they have forgotten or lost along the way and I enjoy teaching them about tools they can use on their own to help themselves. I tend to work in an expansive and more quantum way, rather than following sequences and protocols, so every single session is completely different.

Ultimately, as a heart-centered practitioner, I show up for each session fully invested in offering anything and everything that I can to each client based on their own unique experience, goals, desires, and intentions at the time of the session. I work in a deeply intuitive process during which I essentially “read” the information that is made available to me in connection to their energy field and we interact with what shows up as beneficial in the ways that we are guided to interact. I also bring a lot of levity into the process, as there is always an opportunity for laughter and play to break up the density and heaviness that this work can sometimes entail.

I take the responsibility of this work very seriously, yes, but I do like to have a good time with my clients while we are doing it!
