Christian, can you describe the moment you realized that your house was more than just a physical space but a reflection of your inner life? How did this realization influence your approach to living in and interacting with your home?

My journey towards understanding sacred spaces and their significance has been a gradual realization, starting as early as 1971. One of my major wake-up points involved being introduced to various subjects of philosophy, sacred space, sacred geometry, sacred sound, ancient Greek texts, Sanskrit and the Vedic scriptures. Living in the south of England, I visited many sacred sites like Stonehenge and Avebury. I realized that these PowerPoints on earth held profound significance beyond being mere monuments. We have a relationship with these structures and spaces, which extend beyond the Earth – connecting through galactic portals to other planets, stars and parallel dimensions. All this has been a part of my awareness from an early age.
My father was a builder, and I often worked with him on construction sites. Even before I began my formal architecture studies, I was designing house conversions and many Indian restaurants which he built, totalling 333 across the UK. These early experiences made me acutely aware of spaces and their energies, particularly the emotions embedded within buildings. I noticed how some structures seemed sad, dejected, dark and spooky, especially when they were empty and dilapidated.
Reflecting on my past, as a child, I remember arriving in the UK in 1954 and being aware of ghosts in the room where I slept in North London. Though initially fearful, this awareness eventually became an integral part of my work, which now includes releasing stuck souls, spirits through understanding the reasons as to why they got stuck at the moment of passing.

In your experience as a House Whisperer, how often do you find that people choose their homes, or do the homes choose them?

Every time I discuss the process with clients, I find it is always a unique blend of reactions. Some people immediately recognize that they or their partner chose their home for a deeper reason. Others come to realize that their home has drawn them in for a specific purpose. I explain to them that if they feel a strong connection to a house, it’s because they have a karmic contract with that house, the land, the street, or even the village. Until they acknowledge and fulfill this contract, their life may feel out of sync. Additionally, if they are trying to sell a house, they will not succeed unless they complete this karmic obligation with the property.

You mention that old energies left by previous occupants can profoundly affect new residents. Can you explain how you identify and address these energies during your consultations?

I always ask people, “Are you living your own life, or are you living the life of those who lived there before?” Either way, it doesn’t matter because you’ve been drawn there for a reason. There is never a wrong place to live; the soul of the house has called you, indicating a karmic contract. This is a matter of attraction and resonance.
No matter how difficult it might feel, there is always a connection and a reason for being where you are. Some buildings bring out your shadow side, revealing what needs to be addressed in your life. Unresolved issues from earlier in life or past lives get projected into our future, and we create our reality with the help of our guides and angels.
When people ask if they should consult me about their current home or wait until they move, I tell them that most of the work is about them, not just the house. Your inner world is reflected in your outer world, and if you don’t deal with your inner issues now, you’ll find another house with the same problems. Deal with your inner issues now, and your next home will be more aligned with your true journey.

What are some of the most common issues you encounter that prevent a house from becoming a sanctuary for its inhabitants?

People often carry beliefs and programs that aren’t originally theirs. These can come from parents or previous inhabitants of a space, leaving their energies behind, embedded in the walls so to speak. Even though you might have been attracted to these energies and matched them, it’s still your stuff to deal with. There isn’t one common reason for this; the variations are vast. Each situation is unique, with a multitude of reasons contributing to the experiences we face.

You mentioned that the paranormal is a dimensional reality that can cause life issues. Can you elaborate on how you integrate this understanding into your consultations and provide a specific example of how you remedied such a situation for a client?

There’s an entire chapter in my book on the paranormal, and I’m working on another book entirely dedicated to the subject. I believe that all spaces – whether physical buildings or outdoor areas – are multidimensional, with parallel realities running concurrently. The spirit world is always present, interacting with us even if we’re unaware of it. Typically, people only acknowledge it when they sense something is off, does not feel right or there is a strange feeling of paranormal presence in their home.
As the House Whisperer, my role is to help people identify and connect with these energies. I guide them to understand the spirit’s presence and the trauma that keeps it trapped.
This isn’t about ghostbusting, which I believe is harmful as it can shatter a soul which would then need a shamanic process of soul retrieval. Instead, I advocate for connecting with the spirit. Then I run a process to release the stuck soul through understanding, love and compassion in order to help it move on.
The trauma that binds the spirit often mirrors the story and pain of the home’s current inhabitants, creating a unique connection. My deep connection with the energy and consciousness of buildings has been a lifelong journey, shaping the core of what I do today.
For instance, a common scenario involved a single woman unable to find a relationship. She went to live in a house and unbeknown to her, she got into a relationship with the spirit of a single old lady blocking her from finding a human partner. My advice was to end this relationship running between the two worlds which needed them both to agree to do that. They did, and the young woman was then ready and finally open to find a real-life relationship.
On selling houses, I’ve seen extraordinary results from this work. Houses that have been on the market for years sometimes sell within hours after resolving the essence of the issue of releasing a spirit’s presence. It’s not estate agents that sell a house. They have their role to play but it’s about connecting with and healing your relationship with the soul of the house. This approach has consistently led to significant changes in people’s lives and their relationships with their homes.
