The Baby Whisperer: Charles Grant's Psychic Insights

It’s MysticMag‘s pleasure to introduce Charles Grant, a seasoned psychic medium with over 43 years of experience in numerology, mediumship, astrology, Angel card divination, and psychometry. As the founder of MyPsychicSidekick.com, Charles shares his fascinating journey into the world of spirituality and offers profound insights into his unique approach to psychic readings.

Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and share a few details about yourself?

I’m Charles Grant. I’m a psychic medium who has been practicing numerology, mediumship, astrology, Angel card divination, and psychometry, officially and unofficially since my teen years (so more than 43 years at this point). I run MyPsychicSidekick.com, a business in Massachusetts. And I am also the very proud father of a 22-year-old blonde bombshell who’s as smart as she is lovely and kind.

I’ve known I was psychic or at least a bit different since I was age 9 when I determined that a white tabby cat in a neighbor’s driveway was the son of my Sealpoint Siamese cat, Bucky. I saw the beautiful white cat and approached it. It was sitting with a cat that looked just like it. But the baby cat seemed to have a face shaped like Bucky’s face (though they didn’t really look alike). Then I saw an image of Bucky’s face flash on the kitten’s face. I knocked on the neighbor’s door and asked where those beautiful cats came from. She said one was the Momma cat, and the other was her baby. She added that she had locked a Sealpoint Siamese cat in her basement several months previously to mate with the Mom cat. Well, around that time, our cat had been missing for a few days and we were upset about it. But somehow I was directed to see the white cats, watch my Siamese cat’s face flash on the baby’s face, and follow my intuition to ask about the origins of those cats. All of that led me to understand that I had a rare gift — and that I wanted yet another cat.

Long story, short, I ended up adopting the baby cat and bringing him home. He lived with us for 15 years and was named Kimba. We were very close and, in fact, when I was in my early 20s, I was interviewing for “real” jobs in Chicago and ended up having sharp stomach pains — that really were unexplainable — at least until I returned home to Massachusetts. At that time, I learned that my parents were feeding Kimba intravenously to keep him alive — as he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was about to be put to sleep. I had Kimba’s symptoms. His death was traumatic, to say the least, but I often still feel him with me. A couple of years ago, I was driving about 50 miles to a woman’s surprise 60th birthday party and, as I was on the highway, a truck pulled in front of me with the license plate — K-I-M-B-A — on it. I smiled and definitely appreciated my cat’s brief hello as I trekked to the party.

Since then, I’ve had all kinds of experiences and have conducted at least 10,000 readings — either informally with friends or professionally. Most of the professional readings have occurred since 2012 when I established MyPsychicSidekick.com — my mediumship, numerology, and life coaching business. While the Kimba incidents were certainly interesting, I decided to become a professional psychic only after some major incidents happened to me — ones that showed me that my strong intuitive abilities were part of a major, Angel-inspired mission. One of the most eye-opening experiences happened in 1998. I went with a friend, Ana, to celebrate her upcoming life chapter — she was planning to leave the PR agency where we worked to pursue charitable work in Armenia.

It was a wonderful plan and I was very supportive…But when we arrived at the Asian restaurant we chose for a celebratory lunch, I sat down and almost immediately had a vision of my friend Ana’s mother sitting next to me and then a vision over Ana’s head of Ana and her husband at the time in a vehicle. It was shaking, things were falling down around them, and they looked scared.

I wasn’t sure what I had seen, but I turned to her and said, “You’re not going on any leg of that journey this week or next week. It’s just not safe to go.”

She was appalled and hurt, especially since I usually endorsed all of her very creative plans for her life. But this wasn’t me talking — it was her mother (who had died three months previously, but I didn’t know that at the time).

So Ana and I finished lunch and went back to the office. She woke up the next morning and her husband said, “I think we should go to Armenia today.” Ana told her husband she didn’t want to go yet, adding that her friend, Chuck, was psychic and didn’t feel good about the trip — at least for the next two weeks.

He yelled, “Who the f*ck is Chuck?”. She calmed him down and talked him out of taking the flight that night. That flight was Flight 111 leaving New York for Geneva (and transferring to Armenia), in September of 1998.

As it turned out, Flight 111 crashed and had no survivors. Ana told me about all of this the day afterward at our PR agency. In fact, she told the whole agency, and my boss, Fred, at the time came up to me with his Franklin Planner and pointed to all of the flights he had planned. “Let me know if I’m safe to go on these,” he said. I smiled and said, “Fred, it doesn’t work that way, but I will tell you if I have any messages coming in to avoid any flights.”

So that’s just a preview of my story. I have had more than 10,000 readings and counting following that story — and I’ve probably done readings for hundreds of Armenians who heard about this crazy tale from my friend, Ana.

What is your approach to numerology and astrology?

I combine the two as I gear up for each reading. I find getting the birthdate and full name of the person I’m reading, right off the bat, and calculating their four major numbers gets us off to a winning start. It also helps me focus on their soul and their soul’s mission, as I open up to receive messages from their Angelic guides, including past relatives, friends, and even pets on the other side. Numerology and astrology have basically become my second and third languages — and they help me to give deeper, more profound readings to anyone I encounter. I even perform numerology using the birthdates of the people who’ve passed sometimes to reinforce our connection, so that they feel more comfortable talking to me.

What is psychometry?

Psychometry is the art of holding an object that someone else wears or carries with them — everything from a necklace or ring to a belt to a backpack or even a mobile phone. You hold that object and spit out any messages you get — unfiltered — which can be one of the purest forms of mediumship, as you usually say something that confirms an Angel is helping you convey messages you need to say. It’s also something that’s fun to use in helping your clients to enhance their own psychic powers, too.

What other services do you offer?

Anything in the spiritual realm that is “of the light.” I am a very upbeat person and love to help uplift others — so I will counsel people on everything from relationships to jobs, to careers, to whether they should move or not, to their past lives (I love past lives), and even outlines for books they are supposed to write. I channel everything and just say whatever is coming in. (The less filtered — the better — as I am really a vessel and the less I interpret something and the more I just pass on the messages, the better the reading).

What is your favorite part about your profession?

I just love giving people the sincere and genuine hope that they will see their loved ones again and that their loved ones are doing well in Heaven. The passing of a parent, sibling, child, pet, friend, mentor, and more can be terribly devastating to anyone. When I can help people feel and know that their beloved people and pets are doing fine and looking after them, then I can move them a step closer to some sort of healing. I have also accurately predicted at least 100 babies during my readings — so I am known affectionately as the “Baby Whisperer.” I have predicted babies for people that I consciously didn’t believe could still have children, but my Angels took over and said what I needed to say. I even predicted a new baby for a 51-year-old woman. I didn’t think it was possible, but an Angel knew differently and I told her what I had heard. Well, nine months later, she had a bouncing baby girl.

Is there anything else that you’d like to add?

I love counseling people on any part of their lives — including how their past lives figure into their missions now. I think of myself as both a counselor and a mystic — and that combination really is my hallmark.
