As a Psychic-Astrologer, what sparked your interest in combining astrology and psychic abilities? How do these two disciplines complement each other in your work?
I just love working with the Tarot Cards as they are picture cards. They share with us their story of how your life is changing and forever evolving as we move through life.
I took up Astrology very early in my career as it had always fascinated me. Iit captivated me and I was drawn to the heavens. This quickly became one of my favourite tools along with Tarot. Astrology is a researched science, and this appealed to me as it was not guessed work or open to vague interpretation. There were definite time factors and guidelines to follow, and this gave precise information and guidance.
Astrology Chart is a map of birth like a polaroid photo of the planets in the Solar System. They determine your personality and how you emotionally approach the journey of life.
In your role as an author, what topics do you explore in your books? How do you approach using tarot cards in your practice?
During my journey into Tarot and Astrology I was fortunate enough to teach both subjects. I also attended many industry trade shows where I lectured on the given subject to an eager audience thirsty for knowledge.
When I was approached by a well known publishing house to create a book, cards and dvd on Tarot. I was thrilled because it meant I could use my teaching knowledge and turn it into a book for people to be able teach themselves anywhere any time without being in a class.
Writing an Astrology book was easy for me. (Simply Astrology -self-published) Many people over the years asked if I could write a simple, easy to understand book that you could leave on the coffee table. Pick up and read when needed to understand people in their lives. With lots of quick to absorb interesting facts as well as their love compatibility by the stars
I use Tarot cards every single day in my work as it helps me give clarity to my customers with their life. It always shares a story with us to be able to make better and more informed choices moving forward.
What type of services do you offer?
I offer reading over the phone anywhere in the world with modern technology making this so accessible for us all.
A reading can be Tarot and Astrology combined. I offer different lengths of readings for 15 min to 1 hour so depending on how many questions you may have.
I also offer email reading for people who like to see a written answer. Thes can be performed within 48 Hours, and you have quick answers to your question. So, it can be just 2 questions up to 8 questions depending on your choice of reading length.
What inspired you to design the book and cards – Simply of Tarot 2005 release? (Next edition was Secrets of Tarot 2017.)
My Aunt who had the Gift of Sight – recognized my ability as a small child and encouraged me to develop my gift. When I was much older under the watchful eye of a fellow Famous Clairvoyant-Astrologer and my husband they encouraged me to develop this gift even further, with teaching Tarot & Astrology.
Then in the early 1980’s I commenced teaching Tarot in the Australian College System. This enabled me to write the Award-Winning Best Selling – Simply Tarot for Hinkler Books Australia. Book, DVD & Tarot Cards released in 2005. Now everyone can learn Tarot quickly and easily. I have continued with my quest to teach my skills to willing students over the last 35 years with a variety of courses.

She has attended and has staged many psychic shows around Australia during her extensive career. Simply Tarot and Secrets of Tarot are a clone design of the Rider Waite Tarot deck made with purpose shot photographs of real live people. With basic meaning on the bottom of the cards for easy learning and reading.
The Secrets of tarot are the same with old worldly effects being applied to the cards to make them slightly different.
How do you incorporate your psychic and astrological expertise into your writing?
As I have written for many magazines and special features over the years. I always try to bring a new and different angle to the subject.
Tarot has so many ways to perform a reading from a quick daily spread to very complex and length spreads to encompass a much longer time frame where more information is needed to help unlock answers to many areas of life at the same time.
This helps us look for alternative solutions and think outside the box when needed. Just like a good friend would do.
When I write an Astrology column or article It can be a predictive piece for a designated time frame where I would work with the 12 signs.
Sometimes I would write a feature piece highlighting a specific area of Astrology and how it affects the 12 different signs e.g. How does Mercury the planet of communication affect the 12 signs I like to stimulate your curiosity when I write about my favourite subjects of tarot and Astrology.
In your experience, how has astrology and psychic intuition evolved over time? Are there any emerging trends or shifts in the way people approach these practices?
In my many years of Psychic practices I have seen a definite shift in the way the public views it now.
When I first started it was very secretive people did not openly talk about their gifts or beliefs. It was like a secret you asked people if they knew someone who could perform a reading and you did it very quietly and did not share this even with close family or friends for fear they would ridicule you or think you have lost your mind and want to seek that service out.
Over the last 20 years or so it has become more fashionable and accepted by the people in general as being a great thing to do.
So it became more popular. We saw many public events and shows around this, and the industry grew. Plus, many books and now podcasts on the vast subject.
In the early times it was considered the hippy thing to do or even wacky and way-out people on the fringes believed and practiced being psychic.
Now it is seen as acceptable and even the corporations now use the service of Astrologer and Psychics in many areas of business in making decisions and hiring of staff. So we have come a long way. With the saturation of social media and many forms of podcast/videocast we are seeing many people sharing their knowledge and skills.
You need to feel comfortable with the person delivering the information, not all are experts in their psychic field. I always share with my students explore everything, not everything will be right for you. If it feels right, then adopt it if it does not let it go.
I still follow that philosophy today.
