Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and share a few details about your professional background?
My name is Aileen Javier and I am the founder and director of Sphaera Lucis. I’m a Certified Crystal Practitioner, Advanced Crystal Practitioner, Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master-Teacher and Angelic Reiki Master-Teacher. I’m also a meditation teacher. Before all of these, I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and a USRN in Texas, USA. But my passion lies elsewhere – which is in writing. I worked as a content writer for various digital marketing companies in the Philippines and then handled a content department for a digital marketing company based in the US. I was a certified digital marketer with certification from the University of Illinois – Before my life took another turn and led me to the path of holistic healing.
What is unique about my energy healing service is that it is a deeply personalized approach. I take my time to understand the client’s situation and needs and based on the information I get, I create a personalized crystal healing layout that I use during the session, then I channel Reiki to them, holding space for them and their healing intentions.
My goal with Sphaera Lucis is for it to be a haven of calm, where people are able to fully embrace harmony and healing in their lives so they can live life with greater ease and allow Life Force Energy to flow smoothly within them.
How did you get into holistic healing and what drew you to it?
I got into energy healing through crystals. It was my boyfriend (my husband now) who first introduced me to crystals many many years ago. At that time, the only place that we know of that sells crystals is the China Town district in Manila. So, we would go there every so often to buy crystals.
Initially, I was drawn to crystals because I wanted to attract the right energies into my life and protect me from energies that don’t align with my goals. As life happened, I suffered from anxiety and have been experiencing panic attacks quite frequently back then. At that time, I was already thinking that I should consult a doctor but before I did, I thought of giving crystal therapy a try to see if that would help me get the calm I have been looking for. And to my complete amazement, it did! This was what really got me into holistic energy healing. So, I took a deep dive into crystal healing and eventually, I came upon Reiki. And I thought that it would be a great complement to crystal healing.
After studying crystal healing and becoming an advanced crystal practitioner, I studied Usui Shiki Ryoho (a type of Reiki). Today, I am a Reiki Master-Teacher. My focus as an energy healing practitioner is to help others achieve balance in their lives so that they can become energetically resilient to face life’s challenges and live life with greater ease.
What is your approach to holistic healing and holistic wellness?
When it comes to holistic healing and wellness, I believe that emotions play a huge part in our wellness. Everything is energy and emotions, they are energy too. When we are not aware and mindful of our emotions, what usually happens is that we let our emotions run our lives. Imagine if you wake up every day always feeling stressed, anxious, or angry. You unknowingly carry these emotions throughout the day, affecting how you go about your day, how you respond to people, and even how you think about yourself. You go home at night and sleep with these emotions, then wake up the next morning and the cycle repeats.
When we are unaware of the energies we carry and exude, we affect the flow of our Life Force Energy, and what we want and should aim for is to have a balanced or smooth flow of Life Force Energy. In my energy healing sessions, I focus on this. I focus on helping people regain that balance and return that smooth flow of Life Force Energy within them.
Can you walk me through one of your intuitive readings?
When it comes to intuitive readings, my choice of tool is the Tarot. I believe that the Tarot is a powerful tool in helping us understand the energies surrounding our situations and our lives. I use it to help others discover or uncover underlying energies that may be affecting their situations and allow them to understand how these energies can affect their present lives, giving them also the opportunity to discern how these energies could affect their future. My goal for my intuitive readings is to help provide clarity and support so that others can make empowered actions and decisions.
My process includes tapping into my client’s energy (similar to how I do energy healing sessions), focusing on their questions, drawing the cards, and interpreting them. There is no need for them to pick the cards. I do the picking of the cards intuitively. I like to see the readings as a conversation between two friends, so I ask questions or clarifications about their focused topic/inquiry. I explain the cards to them individually and as a spread and also give them the chance to say how the cards resonate with them. By engaging with clients this way, we are able to get more out of the readings, and clients become more comfortable in asking follow-up questions or opening up to me more about their situations.
What does your self-enrichment program entail?
The self-enrichment program is a personalized program that is focused on the client’s goals. It includes various techniques, such as energy healing sessions, consultations, intuitive readings, journal prompts, and meditation guides.
By helping clients learn more about themselves, encouraging them to go inward, and holding space for them, the self-enrichment program aims to create a transformative shift that aligns with what they are hoping to achieve and encourage them to embrace themselves fully.
What classes do you offer?
For classes, I offer meditation classes, Reiki classes (Reiki 1, 2, and 3), and crystal healing classes. These classes can be done online via Zoom, or in person in my holistic wellness studio, located in Makati, Philippines.
