The SELF - The True Source! Aashti

Aashti, is a mentor, spiritual teacher, trained in transpersonal psychotherapy, meditation. She is an experienced practitioner who has developed her own approach of Experiential Astrology, she guides her clients through transformative and healing experiences rather than simply imparting information.

With over 30 years of honing this approach, she helps individuals internalize and embody astrological insights, fostering a deep connection with the SELF, the SUN, and Source.

Aashti’s practice focuses on helping clients integrate all aspects of themselves, moving beyond conditioned reactions to life’s challenges. She believes that aligning with one’s deepest wisdom allows for authentic responses to life, enhancing one’s ability to navigate challenges and opportunities with consciousness and clarity.

Through her work, Aashti seeks to help individuals to realize and embody their true nature. Seeing oneself as no more separated from life itself and allowing the fight for a better “ME” to drop by itself.

Resting in our natural state allows us (them), to have an ability for a deeper listening, stronger intuition, and to have a loving caring human nature. This allows for healing, aligning and shining free in all our (their) dimensions, leading to a more expansive and integrated way of being.

Aashti, how does your approach in experiential astrology facilitate the connection with the SELF, the SUN, and Source? Could you share a specific example or insight from your practice that illustrates this connection?

This unique approach to astrology is a personal journey of development and exploration that I’ve honed over the past 33 years. Experiential Astrology and addressing Transgenerational Dynamics have been the tools of my focus.

In my sessions, I guide clients through a live journey into the Zodiac. They are literally entering into the circle of the Zodiac and embodying the energies of the planets. This approach allows individuals to connect deeply, to internalize and embody the insights, wisdom of the archetypes rather than just hearing about planetary influences, thinking that they are forces (good or bad) outside themselves, or projecting very superficial concepts about the meaning of the planets.

We are not in Nature … We are Nature!

I begin each session by illustrating the concept of the SELF as the center, akin to the sun in our solar system, with various planetary influences representing different aspects of our being orbiting around us. This imagery helps us understand the dynamic interplay of different energies within us.
People often identify strongly with certain aspects of their personality, forgetting their connection to a larger source. My aim is to help them reconnect with this source and integrate all aspects of themselves. I believe that addressing life from a place of fresh response, rather than conditioned reaction, is key to this integration.

In my practice, I’ve observed that people are naturally drawn to areas in their charts that need healing or attention. This natural inclination to address issues aligns with current planetary transits and energies. By working with these energies, I help individuals to reconnect with the wisdom and intelligence of their emotional, physical, mental, and energetic bodies. They also connect with the bigger picture of space, true power, pure awareness — that watches the whole game, what the Indian culture called LEELA without judgements.

My approach of applying Astrology, helps us move beyond identifying solely with our conditioning and reveals the keys towards a more integrated and holistic way of being. It assists us in taking our true seat as LIFE ITSELF and allows us to respond from a place of consciousness, rather than from our conditioned selves.

This shift in focus allows for a more harmonious and fluid way of living, in alignment with our true nature.

Working with astrology in this way, clients can experience consciousness in a tangible and transformative manner. It helps them to see clearly, embrace and move beyond the limitations of their conditioned selves, without spiritual by-passing! Seeing the light within and without allows them to find new solutions, and align with a more expansive and integrated way of being.

How do you believe practicing truthfulness and authenticity can enhance our ability to respond to life’s challenges and opportunities?

We are currently facing significant challenges, perhaps more than ever before. This period is bringing to light many deep-seated issues, unresolved traumas both personally and globally. What I’ve observed is that authenticity is paramount. It’s the essential key to embarking on a true path of awareness. Without being radically true to oneself, one cannot see the more subtle beliefs and identifications. Then genuine growth and transformation are difficult to achieve, and living in Peace and Love and Freedom are just beautiful mental concepts.

However, there seems to be a widespread misunderstanding about authenticity. Often, we are authentic up to a certain point, and then we slip into analysis and judgments. We label our experiences, attributing them to past traumas or to family or cultural conditioning, and then we neatly tuck them away.

But true authenticity, in my view, means being here…now, totally facing what is; without looking to land somewhere, a known place, from the past or in a projected future. Embracing the naked truth of what is happening inside me just now…. until you reach the core, until you return to that space where everything arises, where true peace emerges naturally.

This deep authenticity requires us to go beyond just being honest with ourselves. It’s about continuously delving deeper, it’s about SEEING “What is truly here?”, What is the story, (belief) that I use to keep me separate? What is the strategy of the little me (ego) to hide and to stay in control. To whom is this happening?

This approach is crucial for sincere seekers of Truth. It means facing our challenges without pretending, without creating false narratives to appear good or efficient. It’s about being a witness to all aspects of ourselves, embracing everything without the need to fight or resist. If there is sadness, can we allow ourselves to fully experience it, rather than just analyzing it or observing it from a distance?

Authenticity means being with our experiences as a friend would, sitting in silence, allowing them to unfold naturally. It’s through this authentic presence, that true solutions arise, not from preconceived notions or borrowed wisdom.

Ultimately, authenticity is about connecting with our deepest wisdom, our intuition, and allowing it to guide us. It’s about trusting in our innate wisdom rather than relying on external sources. When we are authentically connected to ourselves, our responses to life’s challenges are genuine, spontaneous, caring and effective.

In what ways do you see gratitude serving as a bridge to reconnecting with our inherent wisdom and love, especially in our modern, fast-paced world?

Gratitude, like love, has many layers. Just like the Russian dolls, that fit into one another, each dimension connects us to the other….. from saying thank you for the parking place, to recognizing our capacity to deal with situations, instead of looking for (so called) positive results, to deeply recognizing what is as it is, and appreciating the love that we are and that surrounds us.
Whatever way we take …. You will see that Gratitude is reconnecting us with the essence of all things, which I like to call LOVE.

I’ve noticed in my work with others that many people find it easier to feel grateful when things are going well. However, true gratitude emerges when we can embrace all aspects of life, even the difficult ones. It’s about acknowledging our limits, our vulnerabilities, and our longing for truth.

It’s true that it is easier to feel grateful when everything is going our way, when life feels fluid and effortless. But…Life often presents us with challenges and difficulties that push us to our limits. These moments can be uncomfortable, even painful, but they also offer a profound opportunity for freeing oneself.

It’s in these moments of challenge , when we fall on our knees down that SURRENDER of our ego, can happen.
The letting go of the idea and belief that we are in control, and to open ourselves to Grace!
It’s about being thankful for our capacity to feel, to be, to have resilience even in the face of adversity.
Isn’t the right time now to realize from inside that we have been, are and will always be in the arms of LIFE?

I believe that many people are currently experiencing this stage of surrender, where they are realizing that the freedom, love and peace they seek are not dependent on an external person like a lover, a spiritual master, or a specific ecstatic or cosmic experience .
This realization can lead to a more profound sense of gratitude, where we recognize that love is not something we receive, it is not an experience, — it is who we really are in our ESSENCE; our true NATURE!

In this state of deep gratitude, there is a profound shift in perspective. We no longer see ourselves as separate from others or from the divine. Instead, we see ourselves as part of a greater whole, serving the world not out of obligation, but out of a deep sense of love, compassion, caring and connection.
I hope that more and more people can experience this profound sense of gratitude,

How do you envision the future of your work and its impact on individuals and communities around the world?

I hope that my work has a subtle yet impactful effect, akin to the delicate flutter of a hummingbird’s wings. While I primarily work with individuals, I see my role as serving the creation of the NEW WORLD.
My joy and focus is helping those who call :
To be rooted in reality, humility and authenticity.
To see and stop their inner war, (the fight for or the fight against) so that they can canalize this energy in a more creative way and be able to Embrace life’s intensity facing each moment as it comes without manipulation or fear.
To be aligned with their deepest wisdom, not withholding it, but to share it in their own unique way!
To realize not just conceptually but in our cells that we are not separate and not our story; past or future.

I believe that the only mission we have is to realize who we really are (our true nature); to let it shine, (as the SUN in our solar system is teaching us) and to offer our unique expression; which I call our medicine.

This requires living in the present moment without creating artificial layers over our true selves. I have a saying in French, which is : Si tu veux VIVRE, arrête de SUR-VIVRE , c’est-à-dire de mettre de la Vie par dessus la VIE.
It means. If you want to LIVE, stop adding false, (fake, artificial) life upon LIFE.

I am deeply touched and honored to see, meet and to accompany so many beautiful souls from all over the world who are ripe to turn their attention and sincerely searching for TRUTH, investigating Who am I? Who am I really? What is LOVE? What is FREEDOM?
