This week, Mystic Mag‘s Marko Velimirovic had the opportunity to speak with Halley Claire Bass, a Business Coach and Intuitive Healer who kindly agreed to share some information about her career, the services she offers, and what she loves most about her profession.
What inspired you to start your coaching career and how did it come about?
I thought first I wanted to be a therapist. After a year of training in a Masters’s program, I felt that the traditional system of psychotherapy was too rigid for me. I didn’t feel I could fully express myself authentically with all of the regulations, and I didn’t completely believe in diagnosing people in the traditional medical model.
Shortly thereafter, I found a school that taught energy medicine, and I became certified in Intuition Medicine within a two-year program. This program helped me learn very important tools for being a highly sensitive person, and I decided to bring what I learned there into my coaching practice.
What services do you offer?
I offer 1:1 coaching for entrepreneurs, helping them to connect to their intuition and allowing that to guide how they develop their offerings and how they market their services.
I also offer 90-minute 1:1 human design readings, which I believe truly help people become more true to themselves.
How would you describe Marketing and Confidence coaching, and how does it help?
I think marketing yourself is one of the most challenging parts of being a solo entrepreneur. Marketing and Confidence coaching helps give you the inner feeling of worthiness by connecting deeply with your inner truth. There is so much messaging in the world that tells you what you’re “supposed” to do.
By tuning in with your own intuition, and by following your human design, you can find more alignment with what is right for you. I think there are way too many one-size-fits-all approaches to marketing – and that is what gives people a feeling they can’t and don’t want to go into business.
But it is my mission to help give you the confidence to believe in that inner-calling and to find an approach that is validating for you and your soul.
Who are your customers, and what does your typical session look like?
My customers are solo entrepreneurs in various stages of business. Some are brand new and need support in developing their first product or service.
Others are further in the process, and need help to stay on the path. For one reason or another, they might feel lost, or that they have strayed the path. I help them to get more in tune with their intentions, connect with their inner guidance, and also use their human design to help guide their approach to making decisions.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with customers?
I think being an authentic human is the most important thing. Be honest when you feel your client is hiding from the truth. But also validating the struggle they are facing.
Since I have been on my own in business for the last decade, I understand the ups and downs of this process. And that is why I am well suited to help my clients to stay on the path and to validate their work.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love that I get to help people who are doing the brave thing in life. I love that I get to combine my passion for spirituality with the practicality of business. I love that I am constantly challenged to grow.
