When did you first know that being a Motherhood Coach and Educator was your calling and how did it come about?

I have always had a calling to support others and have been a Post 16 Educator for nearly 11 years and so becoming a coach felt like natural progression. I began to train as a coach in 2021 and absolutely love being able to hold space for others to feel seen, heard and safe. I’m really passionate about supporting busy mums who are juggling all of the things to have more space for them so that they can feel less overwhelmed, have more balance, energy and ease in motherhood and beyond.

I am a licensed Practical Magic™ Coach and Facilitator, Certified mBIT Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, Certified Level 5 Coach, writer, creative and magazine editor.

For the past six years I have been working with mums and creating a wonderful community, encouraging mums to take time for themselves, to do the things they love and that bring them joy. My own journey of self discovery has been a wonderful, magical experience, leading me right here to facilitating others to do the same.

What services do you offer?

I offer a range of services and it’s really important to me that what I offer is flexible, accessible and has a simplicity to it. I offer 1-2-1 coaching via Zoom and also via voicenotes and messages, along with a range of on demand self paced courses, workshops and free resources including breathing exercises and self care planners. I also host the Self Care and Motherhood Edit Podcast which is a bi-weekly podcast with solo and guest episodes to support you with the tools to thrive and have more time and energy for all the things you enjoy.

Coaching has to work for my clients around their life as it is now, so that they get the most benefit and feel motivated to take the steps they want. This is why it’s really important for me to keep things simple, accessible and flexible.

What does it mean to be a Practical Magic Coach?

Practical Magic is a beautiful modality to coach with. Firstly it isn’t a way to fortune tell or predict your future and it isn’t a replacement for therapy. It’s a way of tuning into your intuition using the cards from the Activation Deck as creative prompts, it is a tool for self enquiry, helping us to move out of a stuck state and in to one of curiosity, of activation, of overcoming barriers and overwhelm. It is a beautiful tool to help you feel empowered to come to your own answers, explore the possibilities and tune in to your intuition and full self. It is a way of creating and bringing your magic, your creations in to being together in a transformation space. *Practical Magic Activation Deck™ (created by Kate Taylor)

Could you tell us more about your publication “The Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums”?

The Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums is a publication of all things motherhood and positive wellbeing. It is more than ‘just a magazine’, it offers inspiration, information and relaxation for mums. The Zine is filled with a selection of articles around motherhood and positive wellbeing alongside beautiful illustrations and photography. Each issue focuses on mums being able to take time out for self-care.

The magazine was born out of a need for a space for mums about being a mum and tools, resources, ideas and relatable stories that can support mums to feel part of a community and less alone.

The magazine is available via my website, with the full collection of 19 issues available as downloadable digital copies.

What can a person expect from your sessions?

Through my coaching I hold the space and allow my clients to move in to your heart space to dig deep and listen to their intuition.

I will guide them through your intentions for the sessions through my coaching toolkit of Practical Magic, NLP and mBIT, alongside journalling, creativity and self care practices to support them to thrive in motherhood and beyond.

One key thing about working with me is that I am a busy mum myself and I know that time for my clients can be one of their biggest barriers so I’m passionate about holding a calming, nurturing and safe space for them to explore and be curious.

What do you love most about your profession?

I love the impact that coaching can have for our lives, it is a beautiful and incredible transformational space and it has such a ripple effect on all areas of our life. Holding the space for someone to be seen, heard and feel safe is a beautiful gift to be able to give others.
