Cindy Schoenaerts - A Level 2 QHHT® Practitioner

Cindy Schoenaerts is a Level 2 QHHT® Practitioner based in Belgian and Dutch Limburg. From an early age, Cindy felt different and struggled to fit in, but she has embraced her uniqueness and turned it into a strength. Her journey into the spiritual and alternative world has provided her with extensive experience and knowledge. With over 20 years of expertise in hypnosis and regressions, Cindy ensures a safe and profound QHHT experience. She offers warm, sincere attention, and a deep understanding, making each session educational and healing. MysticMag finds out more.

Cindy, can you explain the origins of Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT®) and what inspired you to develop this unique form of hypnotherapy for your clients?

I did not develop QHHT; it’s crucial to clarify that Dolores Cannon was the pioneer. Dolores, along with her husband, began practicing hypnosis in the 1960s as a form of entertainment, almost like a party trick. Initially, their focus was on conventional hypnosis, such as helping people quit smoking. However, they soon discovered that during these sessions, some individuals would regress to unusual and unexplained places, sparking their curiosity.
In the 1960s, there wasn’t a wealth of information available about hypnosis. Consequently, Dolores and her husband innovated their own techniques. By the 1970s and 1980s, hypnosis gained more recognition, and Dolores absorbed various methods. After four decades of mastering these techniques, she synthesized her knowledge and discerned which elements were truly beneficial and necessary.
Dolores Cannon wrote approximately 20 books, focusing on her specialized method. She began teaching her technique in the ‘nillies’, recognizing its profound potential to aid others. Although she passed away in 2014, her daughter has continued her legacy, disseminating their knowledge and training new practitioners.
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) was Dolores’s creation, and she had a unique perspective on hypnosis. Most hypnotists advised against delving too deeply into hypnosis, cautioning that “strange occurrences” (such as past lives) might transpire and they wouldn’t know how to deal with them. However, Dolores found those ‘strange things’ intriguing and essential for understanding deeper truths. Thus, we explore and teach about these phenomena.
As for my journey, I’ve been involved in spiritual practices for over 25 years, starting with Reiki in the 1990s, followed by crystal therapy, breathing techniques, chakra healing, and more. Despite these practices, I often encountered limitations and unresolved questions about the efficacy of healing methods.
Regression therapy, for instance, would reveal past lives, but it left many unanswered questions post-session. QHHT, however, offers a comprehensive approach—it integrates hypnosis, regression, healing, and provides answers, forming a holistic therapy.
This holistic nature of QHHT drew me to it, as it feels like the pinnacle of healing and assistance we can offer today. While I believe that in a decade we might discover new methodologies, for now, I regard QHHT as the most powerful technique available for healing and helping people.

How does the process of regression work in QHHT®, and what types of past experiences or dimensions might clients explore during a session?

First, let me explain how this session is structured. We always start with an interview because we need to understand the individual thoroughly. It’s not like visiting a psychologist where your hour is done, and you leave. We need to know everything—truly everything. These interviews can last from two hours to even four hours, especially with people who have experienced significant trauma and need to tell their story.
There are a few reasons for this detailed interview. Firstly, we need to build trust and rapport with the person. They need to trust us to be able to go into a deep state. Secondly, many people cannot tell their story without becoming emotionally charged. It is crucial for them to recount their story without interruption or judgment. We remain entirely neutral, providing them with the space to share. A lot of healing happens just from this process. Many people find significant relief simply by being able to tell their life story in full, without interruption or judgment.
Once we feel that we have covered everything and established trust, we proceed to the hypnosis part. Initially, we ask them to go to a different time and space where healing can occur. It’s important to note that we are merely facilitators; we help them help themselves. I ask their higher self or subconscious—whatever term they prefer—to take them to the time and place where they need to be for healing.
During hypnosis, people may experience past lives, visit different dimensions, or even encounter otherworldly beings. For example, someone recently recalled a life as an alien. Experiences can vary widely; some people revisit lives in different eras on Earth, others explore lives on different planets, and some even go to places where they feel they are one with the source, experiencing complete peace and harmony.
In my own experience, I once recalled being a little fairy. I vividly remembered having wings and feeling them. This exploration phase can last about 45 minutes to an hour, during which they go deeper into hypnosis, recalling memories and experiences that take them deeper into their subconscious.
The ultimate goal is to reach the higher self or subconscious. When this connection is made, it’s truly magical. I communicate with this higher part of the person, which often describes itself as an energy or consciousness, rather than a person. This higher self provides information intuitively, similar to when we suddenly have a great idea or realization.
I instruct individuals not to overthink their responses. They should say whatever comes to them intuitively, using their vocal cords to express what the higher self is conveying. This process allows them to receive answers to questions about their lives, relationships, and even physical or emotional issues.
We always include a physical healing component. I ask the higher self to perform a body scan and identify areas where the energy is not aligned. We can then work on healing those areas. This comprehensive approach addresses physical, emotional, and mental healing, making the session truly holistic.

What role does the Higher Self play in a QHHT® session, and how do clients typically benefit from the answers and guidance they receive during this part of the hypnosis?

The higher self plays a crucial role in this process. It’s important to emphasize that the higher self does everything—I am merely the facilitator, helping you help yourself. This is why I want to discuss the concept of mediums and how this process is akin to a medium connecting to their higher self.
A medium’s higher self connects to yours, receives information, and brings it back. However, the medium then filters this information through their own judgmental system and worldview, explaining it accordingly. This can lead to variations in the accuracy and neutrality of the information, depending on the medium’s personal issues and biases.
In contrast, during our sessions, you act as your own medium. You connect directly to your higher self and receive explanations directly. This form of mediumship is untainted by external influences, as it relies solely on your own higher self. This direct connection allows for a purer, more accurate flow of information and understanding.

Can you describe the kind of preparation clients need to do before a QHHT® session and why practices like visual meditations are recommended?

Not a lot of preparation is needed for the session. Clients simply need to prepare a list of questions they want to ask—typically around 20. Common questions include:
What is my purpose?
Why am I here?
Do I have karmic relationships with my family?
Why am I sick?
How can I heal this?
I had a strange experience at night and saw someone standing by my bed. What was that?
They can ask anything they want, so it’s helpful for them to think about this list in advance.
It’s also important for clients to be able to relax. I always recommend doing some relaxation exercises and visualization meditations a few days before the session. Visualization is crucial because our technique relies on it. Hypnosis is essentially a deep meditation, and visualization techniques are the easiest way to bring people into a hypnotic state within 10 to 15 minutes. In the past (before this technique), it could take an hour or more, but now we can achieve it much quicker.
Some people worry they can’t visualize, but 99.9% of people can. If someone says they can’t visualize, I ask them to describe their kitchen. They can usually do this easily, which is visualization—seeing things in your mind. So, this isn’t a big obstacle for most people.

How do you ensure the safety and comfort of your clients during a QHHT® session, particularly when they are exploring potentially challenging or emotional past experiences?

We use white light during the induction process to surround the body, enhancing the hypnotic suggestions we give. The interview before the session is crucial as it helps establish trust between the client and us as professionals. This trust is vital for keeping the client safe and calm throughout the session.
Addressing concerns about encountering something scary during the session, it’s important to reassure clients that their higher self will never show them anything they are not ready for. We explain this beforehand and provide suggestions that they will not feel any physical or emotional discomfort. They can observe the situation as a detached observer rather than being in it. This helps them overcome any fears.
We emphasize this during the interview so clients can feel trusting and safe. Our presence and voice are key in maintaining their calmness. The preparation is minimal but focuses on creating a secure and comfortable environment for the client.
