Have you ever felt a deep connection to the world around you, a sense of belonging to something greater than yourself? This feeling, this interconnectedness, is the essence of the Living System. In her groundbreaking book, “One Living System,” Cari Taylor explores the profound concept of how all life is intricately linked, forming a unified, harmonious existence.
Your book, “One Living System,” delves into the concept of the Living System. Can you elaborate on what the Living System is and how it came to be a focus in your work?
The Living System is how Life reveals itself as creations. She holds her own Universal Laws of creation that set the foundations for life to exist – she reveals these laws as Life through the Living System. We are all and each a part of – a piece of – the One Living System, that is all of Life’s story.
This became the focus of my work through a culmination of lifetimes work and clearing to which I was offered the book through a vision meditation – revealing so many truths – that combined all of my work til now, and the work we must each do in order to make great change moving forward.
The Living System is a sacred space we can return to. How can people identify when they’ve reconnected with this sacred space?
Effectively we are never apart from the living System – it is our own realisation of this that sets the tone for how we move forward. We return by dismantling and disrobing all the layers we have placed on ourselves over our lifetimes, to discover we always were one with each other and life. Along the way we return to our feelings and senses fully connected to all of life and so perhaps for the first time understand what it is to come alive. This is of course an ongoing process – we feel a live and love right now – and each polish of our truth takes bus deeper into that realisation. But it is essentially a feeling of nothing has changed but everything has from deep within where we see and feel and hear with our entire being.
You offer a workbook and audio version to accompany your book. Can you describe how these resources can help readers connect with the Living System more effectively?
It’s important for us to appreciate the depth of the work involved here as well the different ways we all like to learn. Having the ability to work across a few mediums, reading, listening nd then writing means we not only learn we integrate that learning. It calls each of us to allow ourselves to truly embody what we are becoming.
Your work highlights the importance of reconnecting with the Living System. What are some of the challenges people might face in attempting to make this reconnection?
The challenges will vary, mostly, is the challenge of releasing old ways, old beliefs, old habits. Allowing ourselves to slowly open and loosen ourselves from the captured mindset to be free to reveal who we are. It takes time and commitment over years – some would say a life time – to really open ourselves top all of who we are. Letting go of out dated beliefs is enormous work. It calls for us to not only let go of who we once were but to be daring enough to find who we each really are. These beliefs as we all know lead to the habits we form, and moving on from these habits we allow rituals to become a greater part of our lives.
Can you share some specific examples of how this interconnectedness manifests in the world around us?
The interconnectedness can very easily and simply be revealed and experienced through breath. The one breath that links all of us as we each give and receive for an interconnected life. I say it is Life’s economy. That we each do in service for the other, without this interconnection nothing would survive. Another example is the mycelium that webs beneath us is at the same time connected to us through the food we eat. Our entire system lives and breaths in reciprocity of the other, all acting as one living system.
In your view, how can reconnecting with the Living System contribute to a more fulfilling and meaningful life?
Returning to the Living System, offers us the return to our sacredness. Ultimately it is through recognition of this sacredness that we sense into our oneness and realise that we are the tree, the water, the ocean, the breeze. And as we open ourselves to this wholeness we discover there is no greater meaning to life that to know we are sacred beings and return home to our place amongst all of life in a manner that supports all life and allows us all to thrive. Fulfilment is each of our call, to be filled with the truth of life is to recognise ourselves as life.
