AJA Daashuur’s journey into spiritual coaching was born from a deeply personal transformation.
Struggling with emotional and mental challenges, she reconnected with herself through meditation and journaling, ultimately rediscovering her childhood connection to the spirit world. As her clairvoyance strengthened, she embraced her calling, merging life coaching with mediumship despite initial fears of judgment.
In this exclusive MysticMag interview, AJA shares how The Spirit Guide Coach and Spirit House Collective help individuals find healing, connect with their guides, and break free from limiting patterns, fostering profound personal and spiritual growth.
What inspired you to establish The Spirit Guide Coach, and how has your journey as a medium and certified Past Life Regression Integrator influenced your approach to spiritual coaching?
My journey began during a really difficult time in my life—emotionally and mentally. I had no spiritual connection and felt completely out of alignment. It was through simple practices like meditation and journaling that I started reconnecting with myself. As I deepened my practice, I began having memories of experiences with the spirit world from my childhood—something I never expected.
Even during my darkest times, people would still come to me for guidance—not just spiritual guidance, but general life advice as well. That’s when I realized I wanted to help others in a more structured way. I became a life coach, and as my own spiritual practice expanded, so did my abilities. My clairvoyance strengthened, and I started communicating with my spirit guides on a daily basis.
One day, my guides told me I should merge life coaching with mediumship. At first, the idea terrified me—I was afraid of being judged or seen as crazy. But one of my guides asked me, Are you committed to this work or not? That question shifted everything for me. I made the decision to fully embrace this path, and as soon as I did, everything expanded in the most beautiful way. I haven’t looked back since.
As for how my journey influences my approach to spiritual coaching—it’s all connected. My connection to my spirituality and my guides is inseparable from the way I work with others. If I ever feel disconnected from my own practice, it affects the work I do with clients. That’s why I prioritize realigning with my practice—whether through meditation, connecting with nature, or simply taking time for myself. When I do, everything flows again, and I can fully show up for those I guide.
Can you explain how incorporating advice from Spirit Guides into your intuitive coaching process helps clients break negative patterns and find their path?
Absolutely. When clients speak with their Spirit Guides through me in a session, the experience is deeply therapeutic. It’s similar to traditional therapy, but instead of hearing from just one voice, they’re receiving insights from multiple perspectives—ones that know them better than they know themselves. These guides offer absolute truth, making it impossible to ignore the deeper realities of a client’s life.
Because these spirits have known the client across multiple lifetimes, they provide reflections that help get to the heart of the matter much faster. Clients gain access to their unique life blueprint and can engage in a dialogue that is both profound and transformative. This kind of guidance cannot be faked or replicated, which is why 95% of my clients have been working with me for years, often multiple times a month.
I feel incredibly blessed to have a practice that is fully booked year-round because once people experience this connection, they are inspired to lean into it—not just during our sessions, but in their daily lives. They begin to expand their relationship with their guides and apply the wisdom they receive in tangible ways.
Ultimately, that’s the point of any healing modality—whether it’s therapy, tarot, or breathwork. We engage in these practices to activate real change. The beauty of this work is that it creates lasting, tangible transformation, helping the soul evolve in a way that is not only authentic but also invigorating and fulfilling.
As the founder of Spirit House Collective, how do you envision this community contributing to individuals’ spiritual growth and connection?
I believe Spirit House Collective has already made a meaningful impact by supporting fellow mystics and practitioners. We’ve helped them share their magic with a wider audience, allowing people to connect with and explore the spiritual practices that call to them. It’s not always easy to find a space where you truly feel at home—where you can express yourself freely and learn outside the bounds of the status quo. Whether it’s mysticism, a book club, or another form of gathering, people need safe, supportive circles where they won’t be judged and can fully embrace who they are.
Before the pandemic, we were hosting up to 8-10 workshops a month and even had a location in New York. Since then, things have slowed down, but I’m now in the process of reopening Spirit House in Los Angeles. With everything happening in the world—so many shifts, challenges, and collective traumas—I see this space becoming a sanctuary for people to be seen, heard, and healed.
My hope is that Spirit House will continue to be a place where people can release what no longer serves them and find healing in whatever way feels right for them. As we move forward, I envision it evolving into an even deeper source of connection, support, and transformation.
Could you share a success story where your guidance significantly impacted a client’s personal development or spiritual journey?
I feel truly honored to work with so many people, and there are countless stories of how this work has impacted them. Clients often send me letters or small gifts, expressing their gratitude—but what really shows me the depth of transformation is when they continue to return. It means they’ve experienced real change through their connection with their spirit guides, and they’re committed to continuing their journey toward personal and spiritual growth.
One of the most powerful moments for me is when clients begin to feel their spirit guides outside of our sessions. I’ve had people tell me how they were walking in the park, saw a butterfly, and instantly knew it was one of their guides offering support. Others have shared deeply personal experiences, like a client who was speaking with their father before he passed and, in that moment, recalled something their spirit guides had told them—bringing unexpected joy and connection in their final conversation. Another client left a job they had hated for years because their spirit guides reassured them that they could create the life they truly wanted if they trusted themselves.
Stories like these inspire me every day. Seeing people not only experience transformation but also strengthen their own connection to the spiritual world is what keeps me dedicated to this work.
What role does the ‘Guided by Spirit Oracle Deck’ play in facilitating communication between individuals and their Spirit Guides?
This deck is truly a labor of love. My spirit guides had been urging me to create it for years, and it finally came to life as a tool to help people deepen their connection with their own spiritual team. Several of my own guides are woven into this deck to assist in facilitating that dialogue.
In my view, one of the most important aspects of connecting with spirit guides is learning how to have an ongoing conversation with them. While tarot decks are incredible tools, their language can be intricate and complex. Oracle decks, on the other hand, tend to be more direct and accessible. This deck uses simple yet powerful words—like spark, failure, joy, bloom, communicate, know, fear—to activate communication in a clear and immediate way.
The goal is to move beyond silent communication. Yes, our guides always hear us, but this deck encourages people to actively speak with them. For example, if someone pulls the Darkness card, they might say, “You’re right, I have been in a dark place. What else do you want me to know about this?” If they then pull Reflection, they might ask, “What themes have been surfacing that have drawn me into this space?” This process isn’t just about pulling a card and letting it speak—it’s about engaging both the conscious and subconscious mind, strengthening the connection to one’s higher self and spirit team.
Ultimately, this deck is a tool for building trust—trust in the dialogue with spirit guides and, most importantly, trust in oneself. I believe that spirituality is about strengthening our faith in who we are so that we can confidently make choices without constantly second-guessing ourselves.
How do your offerings, such as Spirit Guide Sessions and the Seeker Subscription, cater to individuals seeking ongoing spiritual support and development?
Seekers are clients who work with me regularly—some once or twice a month for a full season, while others have been with me for years. This continuity allows them to deepen their connection with their guides and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
Often, people come in with a specific focus for a season, like wanting to make a major life change. But once they’ve made progress, they naturally want to keep going—perhaps shifting their focus to relationships, social confidence, or deepening their spiritual practice. It becomes an ongoing process of exploring life, staying aligned, and continuously tuning into fulfillment and connection across different areas.
Single Spirit Guide Sessions, on the other hand, are designed for those who may only want to check in once a year, once a season or are experiencing their first session with me. While these sessions are in high demand and it’s becoming more challenging to offer them widely, I always do my best to make space for new clients who are eager to connect with their guides.
I feel incredibly blessed to do this work. When I started, I had no idea where it would lead, but I trusted what my spirit guides told me. Now, nearly eight years later, I continue to be amazed by the journey—meeting new clients, traveling across the country, and even encountering new spirit guides. Each guide has its own unique personality; some have even lived human lives before. Connecting with their energy and experiencing that level of unconditional love every day is not only fulfilling for my clients—it’s also deeply healing for me.
