Can you share more about your personal journey and what motivated you to pursue a path of healing?
I’ve always been interested in natural health and healing, especially because I suffered from fibromyalgia for about a decade. I knew that the body is wise and that it has the capacity to heal itself when we give it what it needs. So I sought out the best courses to help me do it for myself, and of course helping other do the same just became a natural progression.
You emphasize the importance of personalized solutions in healing. How do you tailor your approach to meet the individual needs of your clients, considering that what works for one person may not work for another?
I have two different programs that I use to help my clients heal themselves, both of which are highly personalized.
In the first, we do at-home functional labs, including genetics, bloodwork, OATS (for neurotransmitters), and DUTCH (for hormones), to determine what imbalances and deficiencies are present. Then, I provide protocols of customized supplements based on the results.
In the second, we use software that scans the energetic body field to determine where there are informational breakdowns in the person’s energy. Then, we use proprietary liquid remedies that carry the correct frequencies to the body. This is called bioenergetics.
Both strategies work beautifully to help the body heal itself in a highly personalized way.
How do you integrate spirituality into your approach to wellness? Can you elaborate on the role of spiritual coaching in your practice and how it assists individuals in their healing process?
Healing is in fact a spiritual process. A person can do “all the things” to heal but if they are blocking their healing energetically, they will remain stuck. This can happen if they are feeding themselves with negativity, not believing they can be healed, or engaging in thought processes that tell the body energetically that they are not ready to heal. For this reason, mindset training and teaching my clients about the mind-body connection is a big part of what I do.
We manifest in life not what we want but who we are. This is done through frequency, and it’s the basis of how everything happens in the world. To heal, we have to become the frequency that matches the frequency of healing. This can often feel impossible, however, it can be done in gradual steps so that it is easy and natural.
Your book “Why You’re Not Healing: 10 Radical Shifts for a Lasting Whole Body Transformation” challenges conventional wisdom about health and healing. Could you discuss some of the myths or misconceptions that you unravel?
Sure. Some of the big ones have to do with healthy foods, superfoods, and even vegetables. We have been led to believe that these things are good for us and that more of them is always better. Take the plant-based diet, for example, which is all the rage right now.
But what most people don’t know is that there are many vegetables, superfoods, and healthy foods in general that are acting like toxins in the body and are actually causing us to have joint pain, depression, fatigue, brain fog, and much more. This is because they are full of oxalates, which have sharp edges and take up residence in the body.
Some examples of these foods include spinach, almonds, and dark chocolate. Many people are drinking daily smoothies that contain these things and it’s a recipe for disaster. This is one of the reasons why so many people are frustrated because they fell like they are doing all the things they are supposed to do to be healthy and they still feel like crap.
What advice would you give to someone who feels stuck in their wellness journey and is unsure of where to turn next? How can they begin to trust their own inner wisdom and intuition?
When we are dealing with chronic symptoms, it’s natural to lose ourselves. Whether we’re dealing with pain, lack of energy, mental fogginess, or anything else, it starts to take over our lives, and it can become very difficult to tune inward and listen to the voice inside of us that knows what to do.
During those times, be gentle with yourself. Some days, you will barely be able to get through your day, but some days, you will have a glimmer of hope. Those are the moments to tune inward. When you feel even the littlest spark inside of you calling you to buy a certain book or visit a website or go to an event, follow those inclings. It’s amazing what will come of those things when you follow them.
Always remember that something is better than nothing. If all you can manage each day is to write down one thing you are grateful for, it’s a step in the right direction. Before you know it, you’ll raise your frequency enough to write 3 things you are grateful for, and eventually, your frequency will be high enough to attract the perfect healing system for you. Little things REALLY matter and they are so doable!
