Can you explain what Human Design is and how this can help individuals in finding their authentic selves and making decisions that align with their true nature?
Human Design is a self-awareness system created from several ancient and modern modalities, including but not limited to Western astrology, the Hindu chakra system, the Kabbalah tree of life, and Chinese I Ching. Using an individual’s birth information, which includes their location, date, and time, a comprehensive body graph is generated. The information provided in this chart is full of insight on how an individual’s energetic body was designed to help them navigate their world in the most genuine and authentic way, where their actions and decisions feel more aligned and less resistant, helping to reduce burnout.
What inspired you to delve into the field of Human Design and become a practitioner?
I was introduced to human design through a multi-passionate community, and for the first time I felt seen, validated, and empowered in ways I hadn’t felt before. It was that experience that made me want to learn more, explore further, and eventually share it with others.
Could you describe what participants can expect during a Design session and how they can benefit from them?
Each session that I offer looks and feels different because it’s important that I meet participants where they are. This way, I can share insights from within their chart that is useful and will help them achieve alignment in areas where they don’t feel aligned. if someone is mostly interested in just learning about what’s in their chart without any specific goals or out-of-alignment feelings, I take them on what I like to call a virtual road trip where we visit each of their inner landscapes through the lens of their design. Each session is generally 60 minutes, and some sessions are multiples, where some are just one. If they choose to come back for follow-up or check-ins those options are also available.
For individuals who are new to Human Design, what steps would you recommend they take to start their journey of self-discovery?
The first step to learning about human design is downloading your chart, which you can do on my website at StinaGene.com. Then I have two offerings to break down your chart information. The first offering is the energy guide, which is a comprehensive guide that you can get digitally or in paperback form. This guide is basically a blueprint that breaks down the foundational pieces of an individual’s chart. I also offer what I call “By Design” insight sessions where we have reflective conversations exploring pieces of an individual’s chart that are most relevant to their goal or intention. Whether or not an individual decides to work with me or go another route when they’re learning about their Human Design, I offer two suggestions. First, Human Design is meant to be empowering, so if you come across any Human Design insight and it doesn’t feel that way, consider another source. Second, Human Design is information, so receive what feels good and leave behind what doesn’t.
How do you balance your passion for helping others with the need to prioritize your own well-being, and what advice can you offer to others striving to find this balance in their lives?
When it comes to balancing my passion for helping others and prioritizing my own well-being I’ve always enjoyed spending time alone, so taking a step back to focus on myself has always come pretty naturally to me. The biggest challenge for me has been when I get too absorbed in projects and exhaust myself before sharing or launching my work. It’s also been important for me to not become frustrated when I didn’t immediately see the results I was hoping for. Human Design has helped me relax and focus on attracting rather than constantly chasing after things.
The advice I offer to others when it comes to finding balance in their lives is to follow your energy. Tune in, listen to what your energy is telling you and follow its guidance because your energy is not going to lead you astray. It’s going to guide you in the right direction and help you sustain your energy so that way you can put your energy to use in the best way. If you’re not sure what that looks like or what that means, then that’s when I would really recommend learning about your Human Design to deepen that awareness and help you strengthen the relationship within yourself so that way you can know exactly how to listen and follow your energy.
