Dr. Anne Deatly’s journey into energy medicine and vibrational healing was sparked by the unexpected words of her late partner, who hinted at a deeper understanding of the universe before his passing.
This pivotal moment led Dr. Deatly on a path of discovery, eventually becoming an advanced energy medicine practitioner. In this interview with MysticMag, she shares how energy alignment can profoundly impact our well-being, from maintaining balance within our toric fields to clearing common blockages like stress and fear.
Through her work, Dr. Deatly highlights the importance of connecting with our energy for a life filled with vitality, purpose, and spiritual harmony.
What led you to focus on energy medicine and vibrational healing?
I had a significant other who passed away from colon cancer. Before he died, he said things like, “I’m going to find the answers to all my questions. I think it has something to do with string theory.” That was surprising because, while we had deep conversations, we had never talked about string theory or quantum physics.
His words led me on a journey to understand what he meant. Two days after he passed, I woke up with a strong sense—clear cognizance—that there was a healing modality out there that could have saved him. I set an intention to discover what it was, and that path led me to energy healing.
Through classes and workshops, I deepened my knowledge, eventually becoming certified. Today, I’m an advanced energy medicine practitioner, dedicated to this transformative work.
How does energy alignment impact overall well-being?
First, let’s talk about the torus field. We all have a torus—a dynamic energy field surrounding us. Our physical bodies are at the center of this energy flow, which moves in a continuous loop, much like a donut, circulating upward and around. This flow revitalizes us and connects the energy from the physical realm to the spiritual realm. Since we exist in both the three-dimensional and spiritual realities, staying connected to this energy flow is essential for balance and vitality. A simple practice to enhance this connection is to trace the toric field with your hands while breathing deeply. If you’re sensitive to energy, you can actually feel it flowing as you inhale and exhale, gathering it into your pelvic region to strengthen your energetic alignment.
Second, we have the energetic core. While many are familiar with the seven bodily chakras, there are additional chakras along our central vertical channel—both above and below our physical bodies. This energetic core acts as a bridge between the higher and lower energies, helping us align with our true selves.
Third, there’s the assemblage point, which should ideally be positioned about two feet in front of the heart. This point serves as the epicenter of the body’s energy flow. Physical accidents, surgeries, emotional traumas, or stress can shift the assemblage point, disrupting the entire energy system. Since this point represents the connection between the heart and the soul, when it is misaligned, we can feel disconnected from our true purpose. The goal is to align the assemblage point so that we are walking in harmony with what our soul knows to be true.
Many people view well-being through the lens of mind, body, and spirit, but I believe it should be spirit, mind, and body. The spirit must come first—it is our most fundamental aspect. That’s why I wrote Journey to True Self: Discover Your Divine Magnificence, to help people understand that we are more than just our physical bodies. We are energetic beings, part of the vast oneness of the universe.
When there are distortions in our toric field, chakras, or energetic core, the natural flow of energy is disrupted. This can impact our well-being on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Optimal health occurs when everything is in alignment—when the energy flows freely, allowing us to embody our highest radiance and divine magnificence.
What common energy blockages do people experience, and how can they be cleared?
The most common energy blockages are stress and anxiety. Physiologically, stress causes blood and oxygen to move away from the brain and into the limbs, preparing the body for a fight-or-flight response. However, this can be reversed through simple energetic exercises that bring the energy back to the brain.
One technique involves placing your index fingers on your thumbs, resting your thumbs on your temples, and placing your other fingers on your forehead above each eye. This balances the yang reactive energy. For the yin energy, you do the same but with your middle fingers on your thumbs. Holding either position for about five minutes can bring a sense of relaxation and restore balance.
Another major blockage is fear, which is the primary emotional factor holding people back. Many physical symptoms stem from emotional imbalances, and fear is a significant one. To clear fear, you can tap into the neurovascular system, which connects the nervous system to the blood system. Holding the forehead and a point at the back of the head (behind the eyes) for about five minutes can shift fear into inspiration and love.
A third common blockage is disconnection from personal power, which is linked to the solar plexus chakra, located between the navel and sternum. When people feel powerless or unworthy, it often means they have given their energy away. A simple way to reclaim this energy is to say, “Come back,” while visualizing your energy returning to you. You can also place your left hand over the solar plexus and move it slowly in a circular motion for two to three minutes. This helps clear congestion in the energy field, allowing for a sense of empowerment and alignment with your true self.
These techniques can help clear common blockages and restore balance, leading to greater overall well-being.
Can you share a success story from your work in energy healing?
I’d love to share a story from very early on in my energy-healing journey. A friend of mine from a networking group had been experiencing severe back pain for eight years without any relief. The pain started after she was in a car accident—her vehicle was hit from behind by a truck.
When I first heard her talk about it, I told her, “I can help you with that pain.” However, it took her about three months before she finally came to see me. In just one session, we were able to release that pain completely.
During the session, I put myself in her situation—imagining what it felt like to be hit in the back by a truck. Almost immediately, I could sense the pain in her kidney area. In energy healing, the Kidney Meridian is closely tied to fear or inspiration, depending on whether it’s in balance or not. I realized that the fear from the accident was still stuck in her kidneys, and that’s what was causing her chronic pain.
To help her release it, I performed a cord-cutting technique, severing the energetic ties she still had to the trauma of the accident. I also guided her to connect with her back pain, allowing her body to recognize and release the trapped energy.
When she got off the massage table, she was in shock. “Oh my God,” she said. “This is the first time in eight years I haven’t felt any pain.”
That experience was incredibly powerful for me as well. It reinforced the importance of listening—not just with the mind, but with intuition and energetic awareness. When working with energy, we are always being guided. By stepping out of my own head and fully tuning into her experience, I was able to help her heal.
How do emotions and thoughts influence a person’s energy field?
Oh my, Luka, this is a great question, but it’s not a quick one to answer! In fact, I’m currently writing my third book, where I explore this concept in depth. Understanding how thoughts and emotions influence our energy field requires looking at everything from beliefs and feelings down to gene expression.
For a long time, the prevailing belief in science was that our genes determine our health and destiny. However, epigenetics has shown that it’s actually the environment—including our thoughts and emotions—that controls gene expression. This means that negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs can activate disease-related genes, while positive thoughts and emotions can support health and well-being.
Between our thoughts and gene expression, there are many biological processes at play—our nervous system, neurotransmitters, and chemical signals all respond to the energy we create through our emotions and beliefs. Every aspect of our physiology is influenced by the environment we cultivate within ourselves.
The truth is, we have much more control over our well-being than we often realize. When we focus on fear, stress, anger, or resentment, we deplete our energy by giving it away to external factors. But when we bring that energy back to ourselves—by embracing positivity, wisdom, and trust in the universe—we feel revitalized, empowered, and truly alive.
So, in short, our thoughts and emotions don’t just shape our energy field; they influence every aspect of our health and life experience.
What simple practices can individuals use daily to maintain high vibrational energy?
Maintaining high vibrational energy is a two-step process. First, there are daily energy exercises you can do to keep your energy systems balanced. A simple routine takes about 10 minutes or less and helps organize and align your main energy flows. You can also trace your meridians to ensure smooth energy circulation. These practices maintain balance, but they don’t necessarily elevate your vibrational frequency.
True high vibrational energy comes from a deep connection to yourself, the divine, and others. This three-part connection is essential because each person is a unique aspect of the Oneness, here for a specific purpose that only they can fulfill. Discovering that purpose is part of the spiritual journey, and once you align with it, life begins to unfold effortlessly, showing you the way forward.
Some key practices to help maintain high vibrational energy include:
- Meditation: Regular meditation helps you stay connected to your true self and the greater universal flow.
- Automatic Writing: This involves asking questions to your higher self, ascended masters, or any spiritual guidance you choose, then writing freely. Often, the responses that emerge contain wisdom beyond what you consciously know.
- Aligning with Universal Flow: The universe naturally moves toward growth and expansion. When we align with this flow—rather than resisting it—we experience ease and clarity. Many people struggle because they feel alone and try to do everything themselves, separating from this divine support.
- Breathwork: Deep, intentional breathing, such as the toroidal flow breath, can help. Breathing from above your head down to a chakra located about 10 inches below your feet, and then back up, opens your central energy channel. This builds energetic circuits, removing blockages and allowing free-flowing, high-vibrational energy.
Ultimately, we act as conduits between the spiritual and physical realms. Just as we rely on spiritual energy, the spiritual realm also relies on us. Maintaining this connection and embracing these practices keeps us in a state of high vibrational frequency, allowing us to live with greater clarity, purpose, and harmony.
