After three decades in healthcare—spanning clinical roles, insurance, and big pharma—Janice Pringle saw the system’s biggest flaw: a focus on efficiency over true healing. As a caregiver for her parents, she witnessed firsthand how impersonal and rushed conventional medicine had become. Determined to create change, she left the corporate world in March 2023, embarking on a mission to revolutionize wellness. A transformative trip to Sedona crystallized her vision: TULASOL Wellness Center—a sanctuary for healing, balance, and human connection. With a background in science, business, and holistic wellness, Janice blends expertise with intuition, proving that true transformation happens when we heal with love, reciprocity, and purpose. You took a bold leap from big pharma to holistic wellness. What was the defining moment that solidified your decision to open TULASOL Wellness Center?
After nearly three decades in healthcare—working across various sectors from clinical settings, to the payer space, to big pharma—I saw firsthand how the system prioritizes profit over patient well-being. The turning point for me was losing both of my parents and witnessing the gaps in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. It became crystal clear that we weren’t focused on true healing; we were managing symptoms and keeping people dependent on pharmaceutical interventions rather than addressing root causes. I knew I wanted to be part of the solution rather than perpetuating the problem. That’s when the vision for TULASOL was born—a place where people can reconnect with their bodies, minds, and spirits through holistic modalities that actually support healing and longevity.
In your view, what are the biggest gaps in the current healthcare system, and how does TULASOL address these shortcomings?
The biggest flaw in our healthcare system is that it’s a sick-care model rather than a health-care model. Physicians are pressured by boards, insurance companies and corporate interests, leaving them with little autonomy to treat patients based on individual needs. There’s a lack of preventive care, education on nutrition, and holistic practices that could help people heal naturally. Instead, we’re conditioned to believe that pharmaceuticals are the only option.
At TULASOL, we address these gaps by offering natural, non-invasive therapies that help the body heal itself. Whether it’s salt therapy for respiratory health, float therapy for stress and anxiety, or vibrational and red light therapy for cellular regeneration, our focus is on proactive wellness. We also provide a community space where people can learn about holistic healing, from yoga and meditation to energy work and fascia release. It’s about empowering people to take control of their well-being and move beyond the limitations of a broken system.

You had a revelation in Sedona that crystallized your vision for a wellness center. Can you describe that moment and how it influenced your business model?
Sedona was an incredibly transformative experience for me. It was during a moment of deep meditation and reflection in the vortex energy that everything clicked—I knew I was meant to create a healing sanctuary. The clarity I received was undeniable: people are craving spaces where they can reconnect with themselves, escape the chaos of daily life, and experience true healing on a soul level.
That experience shaped TULASOL’s business model in a profound way. I didn’t want it to be just another yoga studio or wellness center—I wanted to create a holistic ecosystem where people could integrate multiple healing modalities into their lives. From the design of the space to the selection of services, everything at TULASOL is intentional. It’s about creating an experience that nurtures people from the moment they walk in.
You emphasize that TULASOL should feel like a sanctuary. What elements—physical, emotional, or spiritual—do you prioritize to ensure people feel at peace when they walk in?
Everything at TULASOL is designed to evoke a sense of calm and balance. The physical space itself reflects this—soft, natural wood tones, soothing colors like adding plants for life and greenery and warm neutrals, and carefully curated scents and sounds to engage the senses in a grounding way. We use aromatherapy, soft lighting, and natural elements to create a space that feels warm, inviting, and safe.
On an emotional level, we make sure that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen, heard, and valued. There’s no judgment here—whether you’re new to holistic wellness or a longtime practitioner, TULASOL is a space for growth and self-care.
Spiritually, we honor the interconnectedness of mind, body, and soul by offering healing modalities that support all aspects of well-being. Whether it’s through yoga, sound healing, or deep relaxation in our float therapy tank, the goal is to provide people with the tools they need to heal, realign, and find inner peace.
You believe that what you put out in life, you get back. How does this philosophy shape your approach to wellness and community engagement?
I truly believe that energy is everything. When you lead with authenticity, kindness, and integrity, you naturally attract people and opportunities that align with your purpose. That’s the foundation of TULASOL. We’re not just a wellness center; we’re a community built on reciprocity, support, and shared healing.
This philosophy extends to everything we do—from the way we treat clients to the way we collaborate with other healers in the community. I’m passionate about bringing people together and supporting small businesses that align with holistic wellness. That’s why we partner with local healers, functional doctors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and energy workers, giving them a platform to share their expertise.
I also make it a point to engage with the community by hosting workshops, supporting local events, and making wellness more accessible. The more we uplift each other, the more we create a ripple effect of healing and transformation.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create a space where people feel empowered, supported, and truly whole. Because when we invest in our well-being, we’re able to show up as our best selves—for our families, our communities, and the world.
Stay Happy & Whole. With love from TULASOL!
