Jess X Goh is a trauma recovery coach dedicated to helping others heal from deep-seated childhood wounds. Drawing from her own journey of overcoming domestic violence, abuse, and dysfunctional family dynamics, she has developed a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional therapy. Through her workshops and coaching, Jess empowers individuals to release anger, shame, and grief, guiding them toward lasting transformation. In this interview for Mystic Mag, she shares insights on her unique healing methods, the power of ancestral and karmic trauma clearing, and what it truly takes to break free from the past.
How does your personal journey of overcoming childhood trauma shape the way you help others on their healing path?
Through real lived experience of domestic violence, sexual abuse, bullying and dysfunctional family dynamics, knowing what it takes to truly integrate the karmic lessons from these traumatic experiences, I can guide my clients to achieve success in their trauma recovery from a place of embodiment and compassion.
What makes your holistic trauma recovery approach different from traditional therapy methods?
I have tried and tested various healing modalities and techniques to see what works and what didn’t work in my trauma recovery having invested over 6 figures in my spiritual awakening, I address trauma wholistically from the body to the mind and the emotions as well as biologically through our ancestral lineage and karmically from dark past lives in order for the individual to experience a breakthrough with their stuck in a rut patterns, triggers and repressed emotions.
Focusing on resolving trauma psychologically alone will not be enough to shift a person’s coping mechanism or the burden of pain that they have been carrying for most of their life (or lifetimes).
Can you share a breakthrough moment from your work that highlights the power of releasing anger, shame, and grief?
Yes, I had a couple that attended my Conscious Relationship Weekend Workshop in London and they were both struggling in their marriage as they were both constantly triggering each other, they were each other’s mirrors of the trauma they have received from their opposite sex parent.
I guided them individually into their personalised emotional release process to crack open their armouring in order to feel their hearts, they both are able to release the anger, shame and grief that they were carrying within themselves and in their divine partnership. I also ask them to demo an intimate position to reconnect as a couple which brought them closer than ever on all levels. The power of love always wins.
How do your workshops, like the Transforming Trauma Weekend or Ancestral Trauma Clearing Circle, help participants create lasting change?
The participants must first and foremost hold a strong intention for positive and radical changes in their lives and within themselves. By bringing that intention into my containers and most importantly, without any expectations, I can work with them to facilitate their personal transformation as they are willing to let go and breakfree from what’s holding them back from living an authentic life.
I can share so many techniques to help a person to realign themselves to the truth of who they are but it won’t work if there isn’t a strong rapport and trust between the facilitator and client to work as a team to make that happen. This is why some people resonate with certain facilitators and others don’t because of this reason and everybody’s transformation differ because of this level of resonance.
What advice would you give to someone who feels like they’ve tried everything but still struggles with deep-seated trauma?
My question would be, what is in the way of your inner transformation? You can throw money at a solution but the solution won’t present itself unless you’re in absolute alignment with it. From my observation, people that struggle with deep-seated trauma that have tried so many things are focusing on the act of doing but not embodying the essence of being because there’s a split in their consciousness that’s preventing them from being coherent with who they are for many reasons but I would pinpoint that to unresolved dark past lives and what’s keeping their consciousness trapped in these different timelines and in the astral field.
