Can you share more about the moment your “cosmic alarm clock” went off and how it influenced your decision to embrace your identity as a healer, teacher, and channel?

The “cosmic alarm clock” is that point when the Universe wakes you up and tells you to get it together and start doing what you were put on Earth to do. For most humans, myself included, we grow up with dreams and ambitions and spend years exploring them. Through this exploration, we learn who we are, what we like, and what resonates with us. We try things – we fail or succeed, we like them or we don’t – but at some point, some of us learn that life is short and it’s time to start doing THE thing we are meant to be doing. Not just any thing, but THE thing. This happened for me in my early 30s after my third child was born.

For many years, I had worked in the entertainment industry. I started as an actor and went to college for acting, then worked at a talent agency where I eventually ran the commercial division of the agency, managing over 250 clients. This was in my early and mid-20’s. During this period of my life, I was also seeing a spiritualist in Beverly Hills after work twice a month and she taught me about meditation and working with spirit guides and angels. I was really seeing her for spiritual counseling, which I found intriguing and mind-blowing. She taught me that I wasn’t crazy, but that I was a channel and that when I would journal and my hand-writing would change and my voice would change, it was because I was doing something called “automatic writing.” I didn’t share with family members or friends that I was doing this, but I would leave work and head to my spiritual lessons and I did this for years and enjoyed it immensely.

I knew during this time that I didn’t want to be an agent forever and had outgrown acting. I’d find myself telling people I wanted to have a wellness center someday, though I wasn’t even sure where that idea came from. In my late 20s, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job at the agency. Although I had been planning to leave for over a year, it still shook me. I had two other agencies offer me a job within a couple of days of being laid off, but I knew that being an agent wasn’t my path, so I decided to be brave and do something else entirely. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so brave that I dove into spiritual work, but brave enough to know that the Universe was directing me elsewhere from being an agent. I briefly returned to acting and commercials but quickly found it boring. Essentially I had gone back to my “old dreams” thinking they were still my current dreams, only to find that they were not. I then taught Pilates in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, planning to open my own studio, but that too became unfulfilling after a time.

All throughout this time, I married my husband, a writer-director, and began producing films with him. This was actually a lot of fun until I got pregnant with our second child and started bleeding heavily days before we were set to make a feature film in the middle of a forest in Idlewild, California. I was told by an ER doctor that there was a tear in the Placenta and that I was likely to miscarry. I made the movie and when I returned home, I saw a specialist and learned the baby was intact. At that time, I quit producing, deciding this child was my priority over anything else I had going on in my life.

Throughout the pregnancy, I experienced many visions, received messages, and experienced very heightened intuition. I was guided to start anew and lean into my spirituality. I felt strongly that I needed to release old dreams and embrace new ones, even though it was scary. Nobody wants to be seen as a “kook” or a “two-bit psychic” or be viewed as some sort of scam artist, so I approached my path slowly, pursuing various certifications, training with prominent teachers and practicing giving readings and healings on everyone I could.

My cosmic alarm clock didn’t suddenly go off one day; it rang consistently over several years until I finally stopped hitting snooze and got out of bed!

How do you guide clients and students to connect with Ascended Masters and their own inner truth?

I’ve been channeling various Ascended Masters for 15 years, but it was really in the last six or seven years that I started connecting with Yeshua, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and many others. One of my favorite methods to connect with Spirit is through automatic writing. During one automatic writing session, I was told that this wisdom I was channeling wasn’t just for me – I was meant to be sharing these messages with others. Though obvious in retrospect, this realization prompted me to be more open about my work and to start sharing it.

When I work with my students in my Ascended Masters class, I begin by discussing the history and traits of a particular master, sharing their message to the collective and how that master wishes to help us. I take students through a guided meditation/visualization to meet that master and establish a dialogue, encouraging students to use their clairs — clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, and so on — to discern the messages they are receiving.

One of my favorite moments is at the end of class when the group shares their experiences. People are often amazed by their ability to connect, feel, see, or receive clear messages from the guide we’re working with. They surprise themselves! It reinforces the truth that we’re all divinely supported and deserving of guidance.

What were the biggest challenges you faced when stepping out of the “spiritual closet,” and how did you overcome them?

I shielded myself more than I probably should have. Rather than coming out “guns blazing,” I started very timidly, very word-of-mouth. I would take classes, and fellow students would reach out to me for readings. So my first clients were actually colleagues! My practice grew from there through referrals. I didn’t have many direct conversations about my change in career with family or friends; instead, I gradually built an online presence through newsletters, a website, and social media. It’s also important to note that I didn’t quit my full-time job immediately once I started giving readings. I kept my full-time job so I could fund my continuing education – oftentimes taking place in other countries – and then slowly let all of my side hustles go little by little.

While I’m sure some friends and family have strong opinions about what I now do (or what they perceive I do), no one has directly said anything hurtful to my face. I did once have a close family member on my husband’s side tell him not to have me talk about Angelic Reiki or these other things I do to a certain group of extended family members we were going to be seeing because they were big on “Jesus” and I jokingly told my husband, “Well I talk to Jesus all the time, so I don’t understand the issue! Honestly, it can be hurtful when people ask you to hide who you are or what you do based on what others may think, and that’s true in any scenario. I think you always have to do you, and not apologize for you are. Perhaps use discernment in regards to what you say and to whom, but discernment is different than apologizing.

I believe my down-to-earth nature was beneficial when I stepped forward as a channel and medium—I look like I could be an accountant, soccer mom, or nurse. This isn’t about concealing my true self; I genuinely prefer yoga pants and tank tops to more flamboyant outfits. Not that there’s anything wrong with expressing yourself in any way you see fit, but I often hear, “You don’t look how I thought you’d look,” or “You don’t dress like other Angel mediums.” And of course, I don’t. We’re not all cut from the same cloth. However, I do feel this is part of what made my emergence a little less dramatic and eventful!

The best advice I can offer to someone stepping out of the “spiritual closet,” is to be yourself. Be gentle with yourself as you present your work and gifts to the world. This work is vulnerable and carries pressure to deliver good guidance and clear connections with guides, loved ones, angels, and Ascended Masters. Focus on keeping your energy clear, meditating, showing up with love and humility, and being authentic. Accept that you won’t resonate with everyone, and avoid the trap of needing universal approval.

How has channeling Ascended Masters and high-level guides transformed your approach to helping others in their ascension journey?

I’m often amazed by what emerges during channeling sessions with clients. Though the information sometimes seems incredible, my soul recognizes its truth. I was taught early on that giving a healing means receiving one, and readings are also considered healings because they offer a client new perspectives and ways of seeing things which shifts their energy.

When channeling for others, the message often applies to me as much as it does to them. I frequently work with clients facing similar challenges to my own, so through serving them, I receive valuable insights. This reminds us that while the work is about service, what we gain is intrinsically tied to what we give.

By working with the Ascended Masters, I have learned that we’re all capable of these connections. Divine guidance isn’t reserved for priests, rabbis, or enlightened ones – it’s available to everyone. This knowledge inspires me to help others trust their inner wisdom rather than becoming dependent on me (or any reader, healer, or teacher). The key is maintaining a clear vessel, free of energetic debris.

What advice would you give to someone who feels their own “cosmic alarm clock” going off but isn’t sure how to take the first step toward spiritual awakening?

Follow the breadcrumbs and trust the guidance you’ve probably been receiving and ignoring for months or years. Everyone’s path is different – some dive in immediately, while others, like myself, progress gradually. Neither approach is wrong.

Take one step at a time, stay present, and remain open to signs and guidance. It’s okay to feel scared; I don’t know anyone who wasn’t afraid on this journey. Surround yourself with teachers, mentors, and like-minded individuals. Joining classes or communities helps you find your tribe and shows you’re not alone.

Also, understand that as you grow, some relationships may change. Whether others don’t believe in your new path or feel left behind, you can’t stay small for anyone else. Through this process, you’ll likely notice anxiety, fear, and sadness diminishing as your inner spark returns. This is inevitable when you’re on your true path. What you gain will always outweigh what you are asked to let fall away!
