When did you first know that being a Spiritual Coach was your calling and how did it come about?
I discovered fairly early on in my spiritual journey that I wanted to assist other people. I was pretty clueless when I began this journey, and I reached out to so many people to ask questions and get help. I only wanted to understand what was actually happening to me. I had no idea that I was actually in the middle of a spiritual awakening, and anyone who I found that could possibly tell me that were not actually interested in helping anyone other than themselves.
So, I began to learn. I took classes on every possible topic I could and sat in circles, and became so entrenched in doing spiritual work that when I stopped to check, my spiritual toolbox was overflowing. Then I asked, “well, now what?” So, I decided that the next step forward would be to share what I’ve learned and assist others who maybe are in need of direction or help, like I was many years ago.
How do you balance intuition and education in your writing?
Firstly, I don’t write anything without first opening the Akashic Records, with the specific intention that whatever flows through me and into my writing be for the best and highest of anyone who reads it. This also includes calling upon my spiritual team to ensure that I am staying in the spiritual flow, rather than the spiritual ego.
And that’s the secret to balancing intution and education in writing – you’re not writing from your ego. You’re writing with spiritual guidance, utilizing your own experience and the lessons you’ve learned. If one can stay cognizant of the intention, then the balance just comes naturally.
What certifications do you have and how do they help your expertise?
I have several certifications. I’m a twin flames coach and a psychic medium. I’m also a master life coach, a meditation teacher, a past life regression hypnotist, and a Lightarian teacher. I have certifications in multiple healing modalities, as well. I’m an angelic master healer, an Usui Reiki Master, an Angels of Light healer, a Munay-Ki Rites mentor, a Shamanic energy healer, and an animal Reiki practitioner. It’s pretty diverse, and that’s the point. I do share this information, for example, I finished a Reiki class a few months back where I trained new healers. But, I also help others find their footing.
For example, I’m often given a nudge by my angelic team when someone is a healer. So I’ll ask: “Are you interested in any kind of healing modalities?” And that starts a conversation that very often leads with someone starting a new healing trail on their journey. One thing I’ve learned above all else: people just aren’t interested in something out of curiosity; their soul leads them to it using the curiosity button as a jumping off point.
How do you use your intuitive gifts in your coaching practice?
I could not be a spiritual coach without utilizing my spiritual gifts. It just doesn’t work. I work in tandem with my spiritual team of guides, masters, angels, and very often loved ones (both mine and my clients’). I open myself up to receive information that is for the client’s highest and best. I truly would not want to assist a client if I could not dial into my intuitive side.
To do so would be more working in my ego, and in my experience, doing so doesn’t produce the greatest results. This is not to say that I couldn’t assist without my spiritual team by my side, I absolutely would try. It just makes more sense to work with spirit and get it right the first time, then to stay in my ego and not truly assist my client.
What are the biggest challenges people face in recognizing their true selves?
The biggest challenge is that people allow themselves to be defined by either someone else or another situation, action, or deed. For example, it is a challenge to recognize one’s spiritual gifts. But, the moment that those gifts are shared with others, like friends and family, the thought pattern changes from “I love who I am, ” to “I hope they’ll love who I am.” And, if their moment of exiting the “spiritual closet” is met with any kind of disdain, then the entire process is shattered. Yes, we want people to love us for who we are. But, what most people don’t understand is that isn’t a requirement.
The only requirement is that you love you for who you are. That energy and vibration will radiate to those around you, and they will either accept it or not. That part isn’t your concern. More often than not, a lot of people are derailed on their spiritual paths because someone else’s prejudices took the wind out of their sails. I went through that many times myself. It’s a necessary lesson to learn when you walk a path like this. I work to make this lesson easier to navigate, and to help people see that the only ones that can define you is yourself. Another challenge is trust – gosh, it would just be so great if everyone could just trust themselves first rather than putting other people in that position. But, this lesson goes hand in hand with self-definition.
How can you trust yourself if someone else has written your definition for you? Truth is, you can’t. Still another challenge is fear. I know I fell into this category at first. I was very afraid to discover my true self. What if I didn’t like her? What if she wasn’t as special as I’ve built her up to be in my mind? The great thing I discovered is that this is 100% ok to feel and experience. The key is that your true self will change and evolve. I always encourage people to give themselves a chance – and a break. If you’ve chosen to walk a spiritual path, then you have decided to truly evolve. And, the truth is, evolution of the soul isn’t always pretty, but once you begin to recognize who you really are – you won’t even wait for anyone else to write that definition for you.
What are your future goals in writing and coaching?
My future goals for writing – I am nearly finished with my second book; which is a follow-up to my book Find Your Twin Flame. It began as a book just about the Akashic Records, and evolved into a an educational story about my journey with the records. At least, that’s the goal I hope I end at.
As far as coaching, I do this daily, as it is part of my personal goal to assist others along their spiritual journeys whenever I can. I just don’t want to see anyone else be like I was at the start of my journey, and be so desperate for help or information, that they rely on something that, at its core, is more harmful than helpful.
